Emerald Forest

Arriving at the Beacon Cliff, overlooking a forest, where several students — some old, some new, — are standing on silver tiles in front of a mug-holding Professor Ozpin and Glynda with her tablet.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest," Ozpin said leaving the blond next to him to speak

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today." Glynda

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Glynda continued leading a groan to be heard from some of the students

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years," Glynda said causing the students to freak out

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die." Ozpin

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Ozpin said leading Jaune to raise his hand

"Good! Now, take your positions." Ozpin said as he pressed a button launching Jaune first, as everyone else started to get launched

"I'll see you on the other side brother!!" Yu said as he saluted Kyoku as they both were launched off

"WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Yu shouted out as he was flung through the air

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Kyoku laughed as he created an ice slide under him as he started to fall to the ground, leaving him to soon reach the forest floor

"Phew, now, to wait for Yu to find me," Kyoku said as he sat against a tree

"What up hoe!!" Yu shouted as he made direct impact with the ground in front of Kyoku

"AHH! Shit! Damn near gave me a heart attack!!" Kyoku shouted in surprise

"You ready?! I can't wait to kill some Grimm!" Yu

"Hehe, yeah, let's get going and find the damn chess pieces," Kyoku said as he and Yu started walking through the forest, as they weren't in a rush

"So, I wonder what type of teammates we're going to have, hopefully, their dudes, I don't think I could handle living with girls," Yu said as he propped his arms behind his head

"Hmm, I don't think I'd mind a girl or two," Kyoku said as just an explosion was heard as Yang came flying into their view on the back of a Beowolf, then another girl quickly followed as she was fighting a Beowolf as well

"Should we help?" Yu

"Naw, they'll be fine," Kyoku said leading Yu to shrug as the began walking in a different direction

after walking for a bit through the forest, Yu had picked up a scent, so he and Kyoku started to head towards it, but as they were heading towards the smell, suddenly a giant Nevermore came flying over them, and that's where they saw Ruby with another girl hanging on to it, seeing this, the brothers looked towards each other, nodded, and started full sprinting towards the direction the Nevermore was heading

Reaching a clearing, they saw Yang, Jaune, and some other people, they were all fighting a different Grimm, some were fighting a giant scorpion Grimm, some fighting a Giant bear, and then of course, there we're the ones on the Nevermore, speaking of which, Ruby and the other girl were shook off the Grimm while it was still in flight, sending them flying towards the earth

Only for the both of them to land on Jaune crushing him, seeing this, Kyoku immediately busted out laughing, leading the Scorpion Grimm to agro towards them, but this only made Kyoku laugh harder, as he knew what was about to happen

Charging at them, the Grimm went to thrust its stinger at Kyoku, only to be met by an immovable object, aka Yu, cause you see, Yu had a grudge against these things before getting his body taken, so, out of reflex, Yu stepped in

"I don't know why, but I kinda want to rip your fucking claws off," Yu said leading the Grimm to swing at him, only for him to deliver on his word, as he stopped the claw mid-swing and swung the Grimm flying as he ripped one of its claws off

"RAAAGGGGHHH!!" The beast raged at what happened as it charged back towards Yu, as Yu rushed towards to meet it halfway, as he began to hammer down on its head, as he then dodged an attack from the Grimm and slammed its own Stinger down into its head killing it and causing it to turn into dust and disappear

"Perfect!" Kyoku shouted as Yu stood in place like a fighting character, but as he was fighting, so were the others, so by the time he was done, so were the others, walking over to a little platform, Kyoku took a chest piece as Yu took the other

"Whoa Yu, how the hell did you take a Deathstalkers stinger to the chest like it was nothing?" yang asked as she and the others walked towards them to collect a chest piece as well

"Semblance," Yu said leaving everyone to sit in quiet for a good second before Kyoku spoke up

"Welp!! I say we all get heading towards the evac point now, don't you all?" Kyoku said as he began walking in a certain direction

"Oh! Yeah!!" Ruby said as she started to run in the same direction as Kyoku

After walking for a while, they all came across a bridge, and as they began to cross it, a deathstalker came charging at them from the back, but, before anyone could react, Yu's head snapped towards it as he grabbed a rock that was on the bridge and chucked it at the deathstalker, causing a boom to echo in everyone's ears, and leaving a whole in the Grimm, causing it to fade away

"Wha-how the?" Ruby

"Semblance," Yu said as suddenly his head snapped in another direction as suddenly a Nevermore came flying up from below the bridge, causing it to start to collapse behind them, leading everyone to start running towards the other side

"Throw a rock at it!!!" Ruby shouted as she zoomed past everyone in a shower of rose petals, everyone got to the other side, but, the nevermore was heading back towards them, and as they got ready to fight, Kyoku stepped forwards as he had a smile on his face

As the nevermore got closer, Kyoku began to start an underhand motion, as the nevermore was almost on them, suddenly Kyoku swung upwards, causing a giant spike of Ice to consume everyone's vision, as Kyoku made sure that the nevermore was no more

"Phew, hehehe, that was exciting huh?" Kyoku said as he put his hands pon his hips, as he started walking towards the evac point again, leaving everyone there frozen as they never saw something like that before
