Ch 14:- Theory of Vampire

It was evening at around 4:20 PM or so, their Beast Weapon class has already concluded and being still early to return to his dorm room Rayne decided to go for a walk around the town to get a better idea where the school was actually located.

As Rayne was walking down the street of the town he saw multitude of store starting from clothing, food, entertainment to weapons and armoury, he also noticed that there was only a single hospital in the whole town.

As he was walking he stumbled upon a store named 'Luna and Winter entertainment' he only stumbled upon this store is because the naming sense of the store was so bad he doesn't even know how to describe it then also he entered it to see what it had in store for him.

As Rayne entered the store he saw that the whole store was divided into 3 different sections manga, anime and novels with each one having at least three selves allocated to them. The number of people present where not much but it was enough to make it feel like the place was under staffed as the only person that he could see working is a female around the age group as him with black hairs and brown eyes she was their organizing the books and sometimes recommending anime and books to the customer but he could see when ever she spoke about anime there was this certain obsession in her eyes which indicates only one thing that she was a anime fan.

As he was still musing about her beauty and the way she speaks his thoughts were interrupted by a coughing sound when he turned around he saw a muscular old man who was staring at him with annoyance.

"Are you here to buy anything if not then please leave and stop blocking the path," the old man said.

"Uh... I am here not buy anything I saw the small poster outside saying that you were recruiting some staff to help out at the store so I came to you know what I am meaning to say right," Rayne asked nervously because the vibe that this old man was giving is that of a military general.

"Oh you are here for a job interview give me your ID card first," the old man asked.

The old man brought the ID card toward a scanner and scanned it he then he looked at the PC screen for a second then he said "You are accepted you can start from tomorrow onwards and here take this badge you need to work from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM considering that you are a student and as for your wage it is 15 point per hour".

"My name is Arvon Winter you can ask more about what you have to do from that girl over there but don't you dare to lay a finger on her she is my only granddaughter do you understand!" the old man now known as Arvon said with air of seriousness which almost caused Rayne to quiver.

"Ye... yes I understand sir." said Rayne.

As Rayne made his way towards the girl to ask what he was supposed to do he looked at the clock and saw that it was around 6:43 PM so he decided that he would speak with her tomorrow so he exited the store and started to make his way towards the school.

Midway to the school he spotted a cafe which also have a staff recruiting poster on it so he decided to enter it to see if he could get another part-time job and surely enough he got the part-time job as a waiter with his shifts only being on weekends with 30 points per hour of service.

On his way to the School dorm room Rayne decide to sprint/run all the way toward his dorm room. After entering the dorm room Rayne took a quick bath to clean his body then he sat down on his bed to start his brain storming session about Quinn being a vampire and he came up with a not very good explanation but here it was.

Origin:-The subject seems to have gained vampirism through a book.

Body:-Vampire physiology(healing factor, enhanced strength, speed and stamina)

Weakness:-Subject doesn't seem to have any weakness to garlic unlike how many fiction have shown but it has weakness to sun but the subject does not seem to show any sign of rapidly combustion or shiny skin under sunlight the only known thing that I could derive is that the subject only show signs of discomfort and degraded vision with inhumane amount of sweating.

Fang analysis:-Subject seems to secrete some kind of paralysing venom in its fang from my first encounter with it.

Diet:-Need blood to survive at an interval of 2 day from what I had observed.

It is only a speculation but I think that the subject have ability related to blood because in one of my eavesdropping session I overheard that one of the victims of the subject say about how the mysterious boy was shooting out swipes like wind ability but it was red color and from how in some fiction they are often shown as governor of blood so it is not a farfetched idea that the subject has a blood energy ability I here by conclude.

Further research may be needed.}

It was around 9:00 pm in the night when Rayne had finished writing his findings in his journal with a anatomical structure of fangs with the the presence of possible venom gland. At that time he heard a *Ping* sound so he decided to open his system message and sure enough there it was written in bold letters. Seeing the message he was exited to see what this library function was all about so he immediately willed the library tab to open and there it was in it glory showcasing all the books that it has.
