Trial 2:-The world Stone

'strange, why I felt like something is going to happen to me' I thought to myself but then let it go.

After I cleared the first trial, I got teleported to the top of the other side of the mountain, in front of me was the soul of Erebus.

"Hoho, Congratulations my fellow human brother, it had been quite a lot of time since I saw a human. You cleared the first trial."

He congratulated me, but I remained silent, because I wasn't able to move my body in front of him because of his presence.

Seeing me stood silently without moving he realised something.

" Ah.. sorry, sorry my brother I forgot to retract me Mana"

Then he retracted his mana, after which I breathed a sigh of relief and then I looked at him and opened my mouth.

"Thank you My Lord, but you should call me son or Grandson instead of brother, because it makes me feel old, I also started feeling pain on my back hearing you call me brother "

I joked with him and prayed to God that he didn't feel offended.

"Hoho, you are quite a mischievous one huh, it can't even remember when was the last time someone joking with me"

" I start liking you my son, but before that I have to tell you something, You are the first and only who cleared this trial so you need to wait until nine more participants clear the first trial then we can move on to the second trial."

I already knew about this condition but I still listened to him, so that he doesn't feel suspicious of me.

" A disastrous fight occurred between these two Transcendent being and ultimately at the end God Aio killed the Great demon lord, but as he turned into particles a stone shot out from his body and because the Fight occurred near the Pamola kingdom, that stone reached the mansion of my mother and consumed into her Belly, everyone got panicked but God Aio informed that a New hero was going to be born from her, and that was me".

" That is it for now".

He told me this and disappeared in the air.

In the human world.

Two teenagers were fighting with each other, one of them was a handsome boy and had blonde hairs and other was a beautiful girl with Red hairs.

They were fighting inside the arena under the eyes of many spectators. An old man was sitting at the throne watching the fight. He was Alexander Augusten.

And the boy was Kimber and the girl was Silvy, and this was a normal event in the whole empire, in which every year the talent of a new generation was measured.

"Haah, lady Silvy today I am going to teach you a lesson"

Silvy didn't reply to him and continuously swing her sword towards him.

The weapon Silvy wielded was a sword and Kimber was wielding a Spear.

"Thunder strike" As he cast a spell a circle formed above the head of Silvy and a thunder strike fell on her.

She dodged easily but the Kimber used " Lightning steps" his speed became very fast as he charged towards Silvy, while swinging his spear towards her.

*Clash*

Silvy block his sword but he didn't stop here and continuously started attacking her so she didn't get any chance to use any spell.

*Clash*Clash*Clash*Clash*

The sound of metal striking metal resounded continuously in the arena, seeing the opportunity Kimber kicked at the stomach of Silvy.

*Crash*

She crashed at the wall and started losing her consciousness, but as soon as she closed her eyes, 'his' face came into her view.

'it has been 3 years, when are you going to come back Greve' she murmured.

Suddenly a red light started glowing around her body and she stood up. You could see the coldness in her eyes, and.

*Break*

She awakened her Phoenix heart, a red light fall from the sky onto her, covering her whole body. Soon the light disappeared and you could see that her sword was covered in Fire.

And a pair of wings of fire were on her back while her red hair are fluttering in air.

She looked more beautiful as all her impurities were burned by the holy fire of Phoenix.

Seeing her everyone dazed for a second but they were not able to look at her for long, because thier eyes felt like burning as they looked at her.

Seeing this Kimber got scared but then he used "Thunder dragon" and threw his spear towards silvy, thunder covered the spear and takes the form of a fierce Dragon.

Silvy just swing her sword in the air from sky towards earth and *Boom* a fire Slash formed and the thunder dragon and the ground of the arena split into two parts.

This day A Phoenix born.

Back to the Land of Dead.

It had been one year since I completed the first trial and finally the tenth participants cleared the first trial.

Now it was the time for the Second trial and Erebus's soul came back to inform us about the Task.

" It seems ten participants passed the first trial, Now for the second trial you all needed to find 'The World Stone' and only one person who brings the stone to me can move to the final trials, and the others will die".

"And then the same task will be performed by the next ten participants".

'so this is a life and death trial' everyone thought to themselves.

" And the hint for this trial is this riddle, if you can then solve it, hoho"

"I have a bed but I do not sleep.

I have a mouth but I don't eat.

You hear me whisper, but I never talk.

You can see me run, yet I never walk.

What am I?".
