Trial 1 :- Survival of the Fittest

After Erebus told us about the trials, he said that the first trial would start in two days until then killing each other is prohibited and the information about the first trial would be sent in our brains directly.

After this most of the Demons started forming groups to increase their chances to move to next Trials but as a Human I couldn't form group with anyone blindly.

So Firstly, I went to the cave, which I had found at the bottom of the mountain before coming here.

After reaching the cave I covered the entrance, so that no one could find this place.

Second thing I needed was the bed for a good sleep, so I collected big leaves from the trees, and create a layer of dry grass on it, then wrapped the leaves and tied them with the help of vines after making more I tied them together and my soft bed is ready.

In this world, food is not needed since this world was originally made to bury the dead bodies. So no one felt hunger in this world.

Now I just needed to wait for the next two days and also need to comprise a plan to win the trials because in the original work I didn't specify that how Greve won the trials, I just knew about the quest for each trial.

After sometime of thinking I drifted to sleep.

In the human world, It had been only one day since the attack of the Demons, and Silvy was still in the carriage heading towards her home, she looked lifeless.

Whenever she closed her eyes, Greve's blooded face came in front of her eyes. She wasn't able to sleep from that moment.

She was thinking that it was all her fault and she was responsible for Greve's condition.

She clenched her fist and repeatedly asked herself only one question ' why am I so weak, why, why, why?'.

Because of this turmoil inside her mind a new fire started igniting inside her heart, which had the power to burn the whole world.

In the Sentos city, inside the Royal castle a commotion was happening because of Demons attack.

Alexander was sitting on the throne with the crown on his head while the Count was telling him about the condition.

A glimpse of concern could be seen on the Alexander's Face. After all the foster son of the second strongest person was disappeared in his territory.

Back to the Land of Dead.

Soon two days passed and I completed my preparation for the first trial.

Suddenly I felt dizzy and the bunch of information about the first trial was sent inside my head.

The first trial was named as 'Survival Of Fittest ' in this Trial, we needed to protect ourselves from each other and Kill at least 100 enemies to pass the first trial.

The problem was that many demons already made their groups so the Killing targets for these groups were already less and they also needed to distribute the kills in between them. That means there are many chances of betrayal.

And the biggest trouble was that the kill counts by you will be revealed to everyone and once they saw you as a threat then they will form a temporary group to kill you, so that strong mages couldn't kill mindlessly; otherwise they could be killed before anyone.

The first thing I had to do was remained as low-key, and look for a chance and a way to kill these demons and pass this trial in one go.

My plan A was that to kill demons one by one and carefully hide my presence, so that I could easily complete this trial.

And for the plan B, we will discuss later.

It had been two days no demons were near here, but I suddenly sensed a group of demons with my mana.

I opened the cave entrance slightly and looked outside they were total ten in numbers, I intentionally made the sound to attract their attention.

*Baaaaam*

" What was that sounds?" One of them asked

"You heard it too?" Another one asked

"Yes, i also heard that sounds "

"May be there is another group nearby "

"But where?, I see no one here other than us"

"All of you remain on you Guards"

"But from where that sound ca.."

*Baaam*

"Shhhhh, This sound came from the mountain side"

"Look here, there is a hole here"

"Is this a cave?"

"Maybe there are other demons inside there"

"It is possible, and if we could defeat them then we can secure a safe place for us"

"Okay then let's head inside"

After discussing between them they decided to go inside together, because it was a huge opportunity for them.

I looked at them as they were discussing, after some they started walking towards me. I sinister grin formed on his face.

This cave was like a Maze and I already knew it very well, So the fun was going to start.
