The Gifts!

In the morning~

*swish* Gu Yuena appeared in Xuan Yan's room and her eyes fell upon Xuan Yan who is still sleeping, his peaceful countenance brought a smile to her lips. She tiptoed towards him, before settling down on the edge of the bed.

Gently, she ran her fingers through his white hair, which cascaded over his face. As she touched him, his eyebrows furrowed and he slowly opened his eyes, reacting to the tender gesture.

*creek* At this time, the door opened as Bi Ji and Zi Ji entered the room. But seeing their Lord seated on the bed they were startled and quickly kneeled "Lord!"

Gu Yuena turned and looked at them "ZI Ji, Bi Ji what are you doing here early in the morning?"

"Lord, as the Young Lord is alone we thought may we can hel-..!!!" Zi Ji's mouth dropped open in astonishment and a huge blush took over her face.

Bi Ji also turned her head with a crimson face.

Gu Yuena was confused seeing their eccentric behavior and turned to look at Yan. But her face also flushed red at the sight of him.

As Xuan Yan stirred from his sleep, he sat up on the bed and inadvertently caused the bedcover to slip down, exposing his toned upper body. The sight of his well-defined muscles was enough to warrant a second glance.

With a faint smile on his face, he descended from the bed and stretched his body. "Why are you guys embarrassed I am still wearing my pants..."

Seeing there are no replies, he sighed "I'll go and fresh up!" he said and entered the bathroom.

After a deep silence, Gu Yuena glanced at Bi Ji "Bi Ji, have you already prepared the gifts for Yan?"

"Hm. You guys can leave..." Gu Yuena said and both of them nodded as they left the room.

Xuan Yan entered the kitchen and saw Gu Yuena preparing coffee. "Nana..." he called softly.

Gu Yuen turned her head "Yan..." she smiled and gave the cup of coffee in his hands.

Xuan Yan smiled "Great coffee..."

While drinking the coffee, Gu Yuena spoke "Yan, Bi Ji will give you the gifts I arranged for you. Now, I will leave to continue my healing!"

Xuan Yan nodded slightly and Gu Yuena disappeared from the kitchen. But at this moment, she appeared again and walked up to him: "Nana, what happened?"

Xuan Yan nodded as he walked and sat on a large rock. "Yannnn!!" he heard a crisp voice and saw Wang Qiu'er appearing from the dense foliage, leaping towards him.

He caught her paws as her lion face fell on his chest. He chuckled seeing her "Qiu'er!"

"Yan..." she nuzzled her face in his chest.

*tremble* Xuan Yan frowned and looked towards the forest, all the spirit beasts within the inner core who crossed 100,000 years came out of the forest.

*thud* They all kneeled in front of him. Xuan Yan was confused looking at the sudden appearance of a large number of Spirit Beasts.

"What do you guys need?" he asked in a loud voice so that all the beasts can hear him.

Bi Ji who is beside him smiled "Young Lord, they don't come to ask you anything. They came to give you..."

"Give me?" Bi Ji nodded and looked at them.

A giant lion stood up and walked in front of Xuan Yan. He again kneeled in front of him "Young Lord, please accept these..." The Blazing Demon Lion said in a hoarse voice.

Then four lights appeared from its body and materialized in front of Xuan Yan. Xuan Yan was surprised looking at the things floating in front of him.

"Spirit Bones? and the age..." he said in awe.

Bi Ji spoke "Young Lord, he is the patriarch of the Blazing Demon Lion clan. In the past thousand of years, many spirit beasts have tried to cross 100,000 years or 200,000 years of cultivation but they died because of the tribulation."

"And some beasts have died because of natural causes, but they all leave a spirit bone sacrificing themselves. These four spirit bones belong to the Blazing Demon Lion Clan spirit beasts and the patriarch is here to give them to you."

Xuan Yan was really surprised and glimpsed at all the beasts kneeling in front of him "Then they are here to..."

"En. They are all here to give you their clan's spirit bones. Young Lord, you are a human, and when Lord came to know that you have women who are also human. She prepared this gift for you!"

At this time, the Blazing Demon Lion spoke "Young Lord, it's not just because of the Lord's order. We all are really willing to give our spirit bones to you and...the spirit bones are not really use to us, spirit beasts."

Xuan Yan smiled softly and raised his hand. The Lion scooped its head to his hand level and Xuan Yan patted him "Thank you! I'll accept these!"

Soon one after another all the Spirit Beasts began to give him the spirit bones from their clan. It continued till afternoon...

"We are leaving Young Lord!" the spirit beasts said and Xuan Yan nodded lightly. *tremble*

Now he has to divide the spirit bones among his women which are compatible with them.

Zi Ji sighed sadly "Sorry Young Lord, we are incompetent to help you with this...we don't know how to cook." she said as she observed Xuan Yan cooking his food.

He smiled and patted her head "Don't bother Zi Ji. It is not hard to cook for myself. Sometimes, I should do my own things..."

After a short while, the food is prepared. "Come let's go and eat."

"Eh? You prepared the meal for us too?" Bi Ji asked in surprise. "Hm? Of course. Let's eat."

*scrak* Sitting on the couch Bi Ji opened the box in her hand. She blinked her eyes in confusion as she took the glasses in her hand.

"Young Lord...what is this!" she asked looking at Xuan Yan who is sitting beside her. "This is something to wear as an accessory."

"Accessory? But where to wear this, Young Lord? Eyes?"

Xuan Yan couldn't help but let out a giggle as he reached out and delicately grasped the pair of glasses with his left hand. Leaning in closer, he tenderly brushed aside a strand of her beautifully vibrant green hair, revealing her ear.

Bi Ji's cheeks turned red "Young Lord..." He then helped her put on her glasses. Bi Ji adjusted her glasses and meekly asked, "How?"

"Thank you, Young Lord! I like this." She proceeded to adjust her glasses with care, ensuring that they fit comfortably and securely because it is the gift given to her by her Young Lord!

Xuan Yan smiled and a pill bottle appeared in his hand. He grabbed her hand and placed it on her palm.

"Young Lord, what is this?"

"These are life essence pills. Consume them and it will help you increase the purity of your Life Energy!" Xuan Yan said smiling.

Bi Ji's eyes wavered in great surprise "R-Really?"

"Yeah!" Xuan Yan nodded faintly.

His brows twitched seeing Zi Ji using the same trick as that day to make him lie on her lap. "I will lie on your lap myself..." he said and placed his head on her lap.
