The Angel Secret Realm!
*swoosh* Three figures appeared in another small world. In the small world, there are mountains and rivers.. with grasses and flowers. The place looks so beautiful.
And in the center of the small world there stood a huge palace shining in golden light and the sacred light fell on every part of the small world.
Qian Renxue was heavily surprised looking at the place "This is... Angel Secret Realm?"
*swish* Zhou Shi appeared beside Xuan Yan and the others who were standing on the huge bridge connecting to the grand palace in the center.
Xuan Yan smiled "This place looks great!"
Zhou Shi smiled hearing this "Do you like this Xuan Yan? I created this place for the future trial takers." she responded, a hint of satisfaction evident in her voice. Xuan Yan glimpsed at her and gave a small nod.
Qian Daoliu nodded his head looking at the palace in the distance "That is the Holy Light Hall where your future trials will be held. Come on, let's go!"
As they were walking Qian Daoliu took the lead, Qian Renxue gently squeezed Xuan Yan's palm who was holding her hand and Xuan Yan turned his eyes to her "Xue'er?"
Qian Renxue just smiled and silently lip-synced. Xuan Yan saw her red plump lips saying 'I love you!' Xuan Yan chuckled seeing this because Qian Renxue was acting like they were secretly dating.
Xuan Yan played along with her and mouthed 'I love you too.' moving his lips. Qian Rexue joyfully giggled in response and affectionately leaned on his arm as they strolled together across the picturesque bridge.
Zhou Shi frowned her eyebrows seeing the couple's playful banter feeling a tinge of annoyance at not having Xuan Yan's attention right now. Hmm...
As Xuan Yan shifted his gaze from Qian Renxue to the path ahead, *swish* Zhou Shi suddenly appeared right in front of him. *puff* Xuan Yan blinked his eyes in surprise and his body passed through her divine consciousness.
His lips twitched looking at Zhou Shi and she chuckled seeing his reaction. "I got you, Xuan Yan."
In these three months, Xuan Yan has visited her many times and they have gotten more closer than before. They are good friends now.
Xuan Yan shook his head helplessly. This damn Angel God acted so frigid and cool at their first meeting. But this woman acts childish sometimes.
Soon they reached the Holy Light Hall and Xuan Yan glimpsed at the long and wide golden stairs in front of him extending toward the Holy Light Hall.
He remembers in the Sea God trials, they had to climb 333 small stairs to reach the Sea God light. The same thing is here but there are only nine stairs and each stair is so long.
Qian Daoliu asked looking at Qian Renxue "Xue'er what is your second trial?"
"Grandpa, it's climbing the nine holy stairs and staying there for six hours. Limit is one year." Qian Renxue said looking at the nine wide steps.
Each stair is enriched in golden light from the Holy Light palace and at the end of the ninth stair, the golden light is glowing brightly.
Qian Daoliu nodded his head "As it says, you have to reach the ninth stair within a year. For me, it was eight stairs when I was taking the trials."
"Each stair enriches in holy light. This holy light can toughen the body, temper the soul, and greatly increase the speed of cultivation."

Qian Renxue nodded with a smile "Ok, Yan'er!" Qian Daoliu frowned "Yan, you are going to the top? I haven't been to the ninth stair so I don't know if you can cross that easily."
Xuan Yan waved his hand "Don't worry, this is easy." Zhou Shi smiled "Xuan Yan how long will it take for you to reach the ninth step?"
Even though there are only nine steps they are so long and with each increasing pressure, it will be so hard to even walk. In the end, the average Titled Douluos would be crushed.
Zhou Shi glanced at Xuan Yan "This is the real trial, let me see how strong you are Xuan Yan. I know you don't need a year to pass this. I will be waiting at the top." *woosh* she said and disappeared.
*woosh* She reappeared in front of the Holy Light Hall and looked down the stairs. An amused smile appeared on her lips "How many minutes will it take?" But a frown took over her face not seeing him climbing the stairs.
"Hm? As I thought this is easy." Zhou Shi heard Xuan Yan's voice and she turned her head to look at Xuan Yan cooly standing next to her, "H-Huh?" she gasped in shock.
Xuan Yan playfully smirked "I got you, Zhou Shi!" he teased looking at her shocked face.
Gahhhh! Qian Daoliu's jaw dropped to the floor looking at Xuan Yan on the top of the Nine Holy Stairs. "H-H-How?" Qian Renxue laughed as she kinda expected this from Xuan Yan.
Seeing his granddaughter's laugh, a sigh left Qian Daoliu's lips "I will be leaving, Xue'er. Seems like that brat will take care of things."
Qian Renxue nodded her head "Ok Grandpa!"
*RUMBLE* As Qian Daoliu left, suddenly the whole world began to tremble and Qian Renxue was startled. "W-What happened?" she raised her head and saw Xuan Yan at the top of the stairs. She squinted her eyes "What is that idiot doing?"
"Brat, stop! stop!" Zhou Shi said hastily seeing Xuan Yan trying to open the grand door of the Holy Light Hall. Xuan Yan just smiled and pushed the door even further.
"It is not the time to open so it won't open, Xuan Yan. So stop!" Zhou Shi tried to pull Xuan Yan but her hand went right through his body. Ah damn!
*THRIEK* *CREEK* Zhou Shi's eyes widened as she saw the grand door slowly opening because of Xuan Yan's strength. What the actual fuck?! (ʘᗩʘ')
"Hah!" Xuan Yan retracted his arms "That was quite strong! Zhou Shi, come and show me around" Zhou Shi came out of her shock hearing his voice.
"Brat, how did you?" she asked entering the Holy Spirit Hall with him. Xuan Yan shrugged "Just brute strength is enough to open."
Zhou Shi frowned her pretty eyebrows "As I thought, your physique is so strong, you are really different. Xuan Yan." Xuan Yan just chuckled hearing her remarks.
*tap* His footsteps echoed through the huge hall decorated with gold and white. Zhou Shi pointed her finger to the center of the Holy Light Hall "There it is. The Angel Sword!"
Xuan Yan saw an exquisite sword embedded into the ground and a huge Angel Statue stood behind that. He walked near that and Zhou Shi spoke "This is the Angel Sword, my divine weapon."
"In the end, Renxue has to unsheathe the Angel Sword to use it. That's why I said it is not the time yet to open the Holy Light Hall." she sighed softly.
Xuan Yan smiled and gently clasped the elegant handle of the sword "Can I pull it, Zhou Shi?"
"Absolutely not, Xuan Yan. You shouldn't pull that." *TREMBLE* But Xuan Yan, however, paid no heed to her words and began to slowly draw the sword with a playful smile.
Qian Renxue who is sitting on the first step again felt the world trembling "W-What is it this time? This idiot. what atrocity is he doing up there?"
"Aahhh! Brat! Brat! Just stop." Zhou Shi yelled seeing him unsheathing the sword and she couldn't even stop him. *swoosh* Her divine consciousness quickly disappeared.
*grip* Xuan Yan stopped his hand and narrowed his eyes. *crack* He felt a soft hand pulling his left arm and he turned back with a tender smile looking at the gorgeous woman standing in front of her "Zhou Shi!" he said softly letting go of the sword.
Zhou Shi stretched out her arms, her delicate fingers firmly gripping both of his cheeks, her face displaying a mix of concern and irritation "Brat! What did I tell you.. haah? Why are you always doing reckless things like this?" she scolded, her lips twitching in frustration.
Xuan Yan couldn't help but laugh as he felt his cheeks being gently tugged "We are meeting for the second time and you are doing this?"
Xuan Yan delicately placed his palm above her hands which were pinching his cheeks "Good to see you again, Zhou Shi!" he said with a smile. *gik* At that moment, Zhou Shi's entire being experienced a delightful sensation as Xuan Yan's touch caressed her skin with utmost gentleness and her body fluttered.
Her eyes quivered as she looked at his hands softly squeezing her hands. She turned her eyes looking at his golden eyes, h-huh? a pink blush spread across her cheeks and she could feel her heart tighten and she instinctively pulled back her arms from his cheek.
Gently pushing his shoulders "B-Brat!" *crack* she again disappeared. *swoosh* Xuan Yan turned back and saw the divine consciousness "Zhou Shi?"
Zhou Shi averted her gaze with a soft sigh "Xuan Yan?" Xuan Yan smiled "You suddenly appeared..."
Keeping her gaze away, Zhou Shi spoke "It is because of you doing things, I have to intervene..."
"Is it that bad to pull a sword?"
"Of course, it is. Why are you trying to take a god's divine weapon? If you really took it your mortal body might be destroyed. Idiot."
Xuan Yan was surprised, his body would get destroyed? he was sure that he could withstand it though. "So nothing will happen to you?"
"Huh? Why would anything happen to me?"
Hearing this, Xuan Yan's eyes softened... she just risked intervening directly for his own sake "You just came, is it really okay?"
Zhou Shi sighed heavily "I did not stay too long and the Asura is not in the God realm right now.. so I think I won't get punished by the law enforcers."
Xuan Yan smiled gently "Zhou Shi, come and show me the other chambers in the Holy Light Hal..." he said and walked towards a side door.
Zhou Shi looked at his back and a mixture of emotions washed through her heart thinking about the moment when he touched her hands. She shyly looked down, her fingers nervously entwining and untwining in a playful manner
