Tang Yueha's Spirit ring!

Entering the cave, Xuan Yan scanned the surroundings to see if any other beasts are lurking there. Seeing that it is clear, he walked in and gently lowered Tang Yueha onto the cave floor. With a sigh of relief, she leaned against the cool cave wall.

"Miss Yueha, let me finish the healing first!" Xuan Yan said and crouched gently reaching for her left foot. Because of the rain he quickly rushed here without completely healing her.

Tang Yueha nodded timidly and extended her left leg. Although the pain had subsided somewhat, it was still visibly swollen causing her discomfort and a persistent itch.

Xuan Yan kneaded her barefoot and used his life flame and quickly healed her as the red skin turned back to a healthy state. Tang Yueha was subtly surprised to see that he healed it quickly.

"Feeling better?" Xuan Yan smiled and asked.

"Yes, Master Yan!" Tang Yueha nodded softly. Xuan Yan frowned "Miss Yueha, your left shoe?"

"*chuckle* I think we left it there in a hurry!" Tang Yueha said with a lighthearted chuckle. Xuan Yan let out a weary sigh and stood up as he turned to look at the entrance of the cave and it is still raining.

He then saw Tang Yuehua wiping away the small drops of water on her with a white cloth. Tang Yueha noticed his gaze and asked "Master Yan, need the cloth?"

Xuan Yan shook his head "No, Miss Yueha." He then walked around to grab some wooden sticks scattered on the ground. He then placed them in the center and with a snap of his finger it lit in fire illuminating the cave.

Tang Yueha was surprised to see this. His Martial spirit is related to fire? And the heat emanated from the fire reached her warming her body from the cold.

Xuan Yan walked over to Tang Yueha and took a seat beside her leaning on the cave wall. "It will take a while for the rain to settle, so we can only wait." Xuan Yan said and Tang Yueha nodded looking at him.

"So, let's eat!" he said and took a box from his star ring and gave it to Tang Yueha. She looked at the box in his hands and took it in her hand "This?"

"I know that it will take some time to find your spirit ring. So I brought some food just in case." Xuan Yan chuckled.

"T-Thank you, Master Yan!" Tang Yueha said meekly. She doesn't know that she needs to bring food, if only she had known then she would have brought her own food.

She opened the box and was surprised by the great meal. "Here." Xuan Yan handed her a spoon and Tang Yueha nodded as she took the spoon.

Xuan Yan took another box and opened it as he began to eat it.

As Tang Yueha is eating her food, Xuan Yan asked "How is the food? Miss Yueha!"

"It's great! Master Yan. Who made it? Don't tell me you..." Tang Yueha said as she swallowed the meal.

Xuan Yan shook his head "No, not me. My wife prepared the meal this morning!"

Tang Yueha's eyes widened upon hearing this and immediately stopped eating. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. "Wait, You have a w-wife, Master Yan?"

"Hm? Wife? I have wives. Miss Yueha!" Xuan Yan replied casually eating his food. Tang Yueha blinked her eyes repeatedly. He has wives? Well, that's not a big problem because powerful people have wives and concubines. And considering his charm and power it would be shocking if he doesn't have wifeys. But the thing is, how old is he?

"You already married all of them? Master Yan?" Tang Yueha asked curiously as she wanted to know more about his wives.

"Well, we are not technically married. They are all my lovers, so I call them my wives." Xuan Yan replied with a smile.

"Oh I see..." she said and placed the box on the floor. Now, she is trying to digest the information she just heard.

Xuan Yan saw that there are still some food left and asked "Miss Yueha, you are already full?"

"Yeah!" she nodded as she doesn't feel like eating the food anymore. His words filled her stomach. Xuan Yan also quickly completed his meal.

The burning sounds of wood and the noise of the rain hitting the floor echoed through the cave as Tang Yueha and Xuan Yan remained silent.

Tang Yueha glimpsed at Xuan Yan who is leaning on the wall closing his eyes and humming some kind of song with a small smile on his face.

[Play that song now, Ciel!]

'*sigh* Just because I scanned your memories, you are now using me as Spotify, Master!]

'Haha! I love you Ciel! with this, I can again listen to my favorite songs.'

[I love you too, Master!]

A little later, Xuan Yan opened his eyes and caught Tang Yueha staring at him. He raised his eyebrows gesturing 'What?'

She shook her head 'Nothing.' and turned her gaze toward the fire. She was just admiring his face but she was mesmerized and fell into a daze.

Seeing that she is staying silent, Xuan Yan began to talk to her.

Another 3 hours passed...

"It seems like the rain is settling down." Xuan Yan said looking at the cave entrance. Tang Yueha nodded. "Yes, Master Yan!"

With that Xuan Yan stood up "I'll go and bring back your shoe first, Miss Yueha. It'll be hard to walk in the humid forest without it."

Tang Yueha sighed "Sorry, Master Yan I am troubling you like this..."

"*chuckle* Don't worry Miss Yueha. These little things are not a trouble." He said and walked out of the cave.

Tang Yueha felt relieved as he is not bothered and smiled.

After a while, Xuan Yan returned to the cave with a blue shoe in his hand. Tang Yueha felt relieved to see him and smiled, as being alone in a forest cave was scary for her.

"Master Yan!"

Xuan Yan reached her, crouched down, and took her bare feet in his hands. Tang Yueha was surprised and her cheeks flushed 'W-What is he doing?'

"Let me help you..." he said and tried to put the blue shoe on her left leg. But then he frowned. What the heck? Has she grown bigger in 3 hours? Why does it not fit?

Tang Yueha chuckled playfully as she saw Xuan Yan's confused face as he is trying to put back her shoe. "Master Yan..wait."

As she spoke, she leaned forward in order to get a better angle to put the shoe back in its proper place. Coincidentally, Xuan Yan also lifted his head, causing their foreheads to touch in a gentle and intimate moment.

"Ah!" Tang Yueha exclaimed as her gaze locked with his mesmerizing royal blue eyes, causing both of them to come to a sudden halt, completely captivated.

Xuan Yan averted his eyes and quickly stood up "Sorry, Miss Yueha..." Tang Yueha lowered her head and blushed with embarrassment while fixing her shoe carefully.

After she had slipped her feet into her shoe, she timidly stood up "Let's go, Master Yan!" Xuan Yan nodded and they both left the cave.

They again continued walking through the forest and the soil is drenched with rainwater making it hard to walk in some places.

"Eh!" Tang Yueha lost her footing and her legs slipped but Xuan Yan caught her "Miss Yueha!" and helped her stand upright by supporting her with his hand "Thank you, Master Yan!"

At this time, Tang Yuehe glanced at a blue deer not far away. "Master Yan, that deer..."

Xuan Yan turned and looked at the blue deer with big antlers eating grass. "Hm? I think that deer will be suitable for you."

"Yes, Master Yan!" Tang Yueha said and Xuan Yan nodded. He used a bit of his pressure on the deer and it fainted at the spot.

"Come! Let's go!" Xuan Yan walked forward and Tang Yueha followed him. Reaching the deer, Tang Yueha squatted down to touch the deer's soft blue fur.

Xuan Yan gave her a knife "Miss Yueha!"

Tang Yueha sighed sadly as she doesn't have the heart to kill this deer. But this should be done or else she can't get the spirit ring.

Tang Yueha nodded and took the knife in her hands and she swiftly stabbed the deer's skull with one clean strike. A yellow spirit ring materialized from its body hovering in mid-air.

"Sit cross-legged and concentrate on your martial spirit. Then start meditating to absorb the energy from the spirit rings. The spirit ring will disappear in 2 hours and you have to absorb it before that." Xuan Yan said.

Tang Yueha quickly nodded and sat cross-legged as she closed her eyes. With silver spirit energy around her body, a small distinctive hammer appeared on her hand. The hammer looks a lot different from the Clear Sky hammer and is silver in color.

Her silver spirit energy combined with the yellow spirit ring and pulled it towards her. The yellow spirit ring gradually began to fall down.

30 minutes later, Tang Yueha's eyelids whimpered and she opened her eyes. She stood up as a radiant smile graced her face and she can feel the increase in her level. She has reached level 11.

"Congratulations, Miss Yueha. Now you are officially a Spirit Master!" She nodded but her smile saddened as she thought that she just killed a Spirit Beast.

"Miss Yueha, you don't have to feel guilty. We have no other choice...for now. Things will surely change in the future." Xuan Yan said and he stretched out his hand towards her.

Tang Yueha nodded gently and reached out to grab his arm and they flew into the sky.
