Chapter 44

Yue Yang nonchalantly turned toward Yue Bing and asked, "Bing'er, what do you do when an ant block your way home?"

Yue Bing, who was confused about the question answered, "Hmm, you move it away and continue your path?"

"Good answer but not totally correct. Why waste energy moving it when you can just crush it under your feet and continue your path? "

Said Yue Yang with a smile before he sighed when he saw the uneasy expression on her face. "It seems like you're still too soft-hearted Bing'er. "

After saying he immediately disappeared from his place and in the next second he was standing in the guard's place. As for the guard, he was already sent flying toward his comrades who were waiting for his arrival.

But it seems like they weren't expecting this kind of arrival as they were rooted at the ground looking at the mess that their friend had become.

Yue Yang, on the other hand, looked at Yue Bing who has a loss and sad expression on her face, and said, "Let's go!"

After she heard him, Yue Bing, began following still with a lost face as she couldn't bear the scene that she just saw.

As for the guards, they had already recovered and immediately took their weapons pointing them towards Yue Yang while shaking in fear and in anger for their dead companion. Yue Yang on the other calmly walked toward them.

The leader of the guards still shaking ordered to sound the alarm and alert the clan elders. He then ordered his men to charge toward Yue Yang to block him until the elders arrived.

The guards shouted to give themselves some courage before they began sprinting toward Yue Yang like mindless beasts.

Yue Yang was a little surprised seeing all of them charging towards him as he thought that after seeing what happened to the other one they would lose their wits and escape.

He didn't want to kill too many people so, he used his Innate Aura on them. All of them fainted on the spot.

Yue Yang looked at the leader of the guards and said, "I'll spare your lives since this was an order given to you by another person and for your courage, but that doesn't mean that I will not punish you from blocking me and my sister for entering our family house."

After doing that he looked at Yue Bing who was looking at the guards with a concerned face and said, "You don't have to worry Bing'er. They are just unconscious. I also don't want to kill too many people but it also doesn't mean that I will tolerate them. This is just a warning to them."

Yue Bing timidly nodded and began following her brother who was already walking towards the village.

When they entered there wasn't even a soul present as they all have already escaped after hearing the alarm.

The two of them continued to walk not caring about how empty the village was.

After walking till they reached the exit of the village they saw a barricade of guards standing there and commanding them was an old man with two other middle-aged men.

The old man looked at them with an ugly face then shouted at Yue Yang.

"Xiao San! Why have attacked the clan guards? If there was a misunderstanding between you and them, why didn't come to me and let me punish them?" Said the old man faking a troubled face while he was snorting inside his mind.

Hearing what the old man said Yue Yang coldly looked at him and said, "It's not a misunderstanding. I just punished some servants who dared to go against their masters. Do I have to tell an old man like before I punish some servant of the clan?"

The old man and the two middle-aged men were stunned when they heard how he replied as the reply was too out of Yue Yang's character.

They thought that after the elder spoke he would become spineless like he used to be and immediately apologize while cowering.

After the stun came, they became enraged as they looked at Yue Yang before the middle-aged men spoke. "Imprudent! Not only you dared to attack the guards now you even show disrespect to your elder. How daring of you!"

Yue Yang coldly looked at the middle-aged man and said, "Why should I be respectful to an old man with a foot on the grave? This world is for the strong ones so why should I respect this old man who is clearly weaker than me? Shouldn't he be the one to come here and kowtow to me before kissing my shoes and flatter me?"

Yue Bing who was behind him couldn't stop a laugh as she imagined the creepy old man kissing her brother's shoes. After releasing the laugh she immediately closed her mouth with her hands as if trying to not laugh anymore.

The elder who was already enraged after hearing Yue Yang's words became even more furious after Yue Bing laughed.

He immediately looked at her and Yue Yang with killing intent flashing in his two creepy elderly eyes. He then ordered the two middle-aged men to attack Yue Yang and Yue Bing with him.

Yue Yang who has sensed the killing intent in the old man's eyes toward him and Yue Bing also released his killing intent.

It seems these people wouldn't take him seriously if they didn't see real blood.

Thought Yue Yang as he took out his weapons. He only spared the guards because they didn't have any killing intent in their attacks but that didn't mean that he was kind. As for why the first one immediately died it was because he wasn't able to control his strength at that moment but he didn't bother explaining it to the guard as that would have been too embarrassing.

This old man not only dared to show killing intent to him but he even targeted Yue Bing too and this really enraged Yue Yang to the extreme. Now he couldn't even care less about the consequences.

With his two crescent blades in his hands, he appeared near the old man who was already frozen after being hit by Yue Yang killing intent and began slashing. He immediately cut him into many pieces.

The old man's lifeless body finally after sustaining the attacks of the angered Yue Yang fell on his own blood puddle.

As for the two middle-aged men who were attacking with him stopped in their position covered in the old man's blood not being able to process what had just happened.

The guards who were standing behind them were too frightened to even move a little. Although they weren't able to see Yue Yang's moves they were still able to see how ruthlessly the old man was killed.
