Chapter 92

Klaus stood inside the Dursley household, facing Vernon, Petunia, and their son Dudley.

Vernon felt a wave of discomfort as Klaus's intense gaze fixed upon him. Earlier, Dudley had come crying to his father, complaining about a man who had punished him. The mere thought of this man enraged Vernon, filling him with the desire to confront and physically harm him.

However, as he listened to Dudley's description of the man, he realized that it was the wealthy newcomer who had recently moved into the nearby villa. Vernon had initially planned to ingratiate himself with the affluent neighbor, but now those aspirations were shattered by both his freak of a nephew and his own son.

Vernon cursed his son for the first time, his frustration reaching its peak.

Klaus had already seen the place Harry slept in, it was dinky only cupboard under the staes.He calmed himself to not slaughter them.Rhen locked his intense gaze onto Vernon, his expression filled with disdain. He spoke in a low, menacing voice, "When I delved into the history of your family, I discovered that you had been questioned twice for abusing Harry. However, all records pertaining to those incidents were conveniently swept away, or at least the memories of them."

Vernon and Petunia turned pale upon hearing this revelation. Petunia, grasping the implications, spoke with a trembling voice, "You're just like him, a freak?"

But she quickly silenced herself, her words cut off by the murderous glare emanating from Klaus. Vernon, on the other hand, was on the verge of pissing himself.

Klaus grinned, relishing in the fear that gripped the Dursleys. He leaned in closer and questioned, his voice dripping with threat, "It would be in your best interest to tell me everything. Otherwise, I will not hesitate to expose this news to not only the media but also to the wizarding community, where Harry is considered a savior. They will hunt you down for your abuse of their savior."

Vernon and Petunia stood there, pale as corpses, their faces etched with terror. They began to plead with Klaus, their desperation evident. Petunia, sobbing uncontrollably, managed to explain through her tears, "We never wanted to take the boy in. He was forcibly left on our doorstep, and even when that oldman came around when Vernon was taken in, he refused to take the boy away. He's the one who got us out of that mess and even paid us to keep Harry here."

Klaus's frown deepened as he realized Dumbledore had been covering up the Dursleys' mistreatment of Harry all along. He sneered at the trembling couple before him, his voice laced with a menacing tone.

"From this moment on," Klaus growled, "you will treat Harry with kindness and respect. He will have the other room, and you will not lay a finger on him. I will be checking in on him every week, and if I find a single mark on his body, you will cease to exist from the face of this earth."

Petunia and Vernon nodded vigorously, their fear palpable. They understood the severity of Klaus's threat and vowed never to harm Harry again. Meanwhile, Harry looked on with a glimmer of hope in his eyes, relieved to have someone on his side.

As time went on, Harry's was sharp enough to question why the oldman had kept with the Dursleys.He would later be would soon provide him with the answers he sought, shedding light on Dumbledore's true intentions by Klaus.

In the original timeline, Harry had suffered physical abuse and had been subjected to subconscious brainwashing, instilling in him a deep-seated belief that he should never surpass Dudley in any aspect of life. This mindset extended to his studies at Hogwarts, where he meticulously maintained his grades at the same level as Ron's, ensuring that neither Ron nor Hermione would feel jealous or inferior.

Harry's determination to protect his friendships and maintain a sense of camaraderie led him to suppress his own potential, even at the expense of his personal growth.

With the support of Klaus and later on Sirius, whom provided guidance and encouragement, Harry would vow to break free from the constraints imposed upon him. He resolved to challenge his own limitations, strive for excellence in his studies, and embrace his true potential.He wanted to make his late parents proud, even then some of the conditioning was still there inside him like his saving people thing, but it is more restrained.
