58 Chapter 52

Klaus was getting drunk wanting to forget everything Alex told them about the variant Hope.Klaus muttered"I saw myself in her,she was like me broken."

Elijah was also drinking away spoke up"Klaus that is not our Hope."

Klaus shook his head and replied"Even if she is an another version of Hope,it is still my daughter.She looked so broken."Klaus internally thought just like me.That was something he never wanted for his daughter,the fact she had to go through all that if that boy wasn't present in her life made him appreciate the boy much more than before.

Elijah didn't say anything he didn't think he would be so disappointed in Rebekah,Freya and Kol like this,they never contacted variant Hope.

Klaus threw a glass of whiskey to the wall and said"It could have happened to my Hope too."

Klaus saw a reflection of himself in Dark Hope,the fact she was so broken made him feel that he was failure as a father.

While Elijah knew Klaus was having a breakdown,he couldn't help but think about all the trials Dark Hope went through in her life and the funny thing was she was manipulated by that bastard Alaric,he reminded her of her fathers eyes full of pain and misery.

Elijah keeping a hand Klaus's shoulder said"We have to make sure our Hope never ends up like that."

Klaus nodded making a promise to himself to never let that become the future of his daughter.Elijah then questioned"Did you ask Alex,what he was going to do with her?

Klaus frowned and answered"The kid doesn't have an idea on what to do with Dark Hope.He told me either he has to remove her memories and send her back or he has to treat her mental issues and send her back."

Elijah shook his head and said"The first option is not good,as removing memories works for short term only we don't want the other Hope to come back to revenge on us for doing that."

Klaus nodded agreeing with his brother muttering a reply"I will talk to kid about it tomorrow."

While Hope was sleeping cuddling with Alex and was unable to sleep asked"Do you think we could help her?"

Alex woke up hummed and replied"It is possible."

Hope saw some hope for her Variant, if Alex could help.But Hope having heard about Gods,Malivore and even Auorora asked"So we are going to keep her here till then?"

Alex nodded and replied"Yes,also we need more information about the so called gods."

Hope eyes widened as she questioned"You couldn't read her mind?"

Alex frowned and. answered"I don't know if she found some kind of magic to defend her mind or if turning into Tribrid caused it,but she was able to sense my intrusion and fight it.I am pretty sure the first time I read her mind was because she let her guard down."

Hope was also fairly good with mind arts that she was able to detect intrusions,as she questioned"So you didn't get much info about the future."

Alex nodes wand answered"Yes,but if I do full powered legitimency I may be able to break her shields,but that will pretty much destroy her mind."

While Alex did get some information about some of their future enemies,but he didn't get enough time to find everything for example he was not able to get information about how the gods awoke from their so called slumber or who awoke them.Also their is the situation with Aurora who is pretty crazy,he had doubts if some sort of entity was blocking him after all gods existed.

Thankfully he got information about who has a hand in releasing the monster,after it taking genius to figure out someone was helping Malivore,after all all triad would never allow Monster to go free so someone high was allowing them to get out without alerting anyone.

Hope understood the situation asked"So couldn't you use the truth potion."

Alex was thoughtful replied"It is possible,but with how strong her mental abilities are she maybe able to resist them,I am not sure if would work."

Hope nodded seeing only way is to get Dark Hope to talk after all searching her mind forceful would result in Alex destroying her mind and she was pretty sure her parents would not allow,after all this was variant of herself.

Hope sighed and thought"Things are getting more complicated."with that Hope snuggled into Alex's embrace.
