It's Yo Birthday

[Agustus POV]

"Great! It looks beautiful, she'll love it!" exclaimed Dora, excited to celebrate the birthday of her disciple.

Looking at the Drakul manor's garden, I couldn't help but admire the work Dora, Bella, and Cissy had put in.

The usually empty grass now had exquisite flowers, a roof of white marble in a dome shape decorated with blue ivy flowers. An eagle-shaped statue was placed on it, symbolizing the most wonderful Ravenclaw. A chandelier with small lights hung from the top, and bunnies and butterflies could be seen among the flowers.

"Alright, now I have to bring unicorns, thestrals, a basilisk, and her other magical friends," I said with a sigh.

"Yes, she would be sad if they don't make it to the p— wait, did you just say a basilisk? A fucking basilisk!" shouted Bella, while Dora, who knew about Slytherin's pet, just sighed tiredly.

"Yep, Luna likes to ride on its head and wander around Hogwarts. Its vision won't affect anyone as I will make it harmless, don't worry about it," I said nonchalantly, making Bella's eye twitch.

It has been two weeks since I arrived here at Drakul manor. Nagini had forgiven Bella and started her dueling lessons with her again, though she rarely talked to me and ran away whenever she saw me.

"When will the twins and Ced arrive?" asked Dora.

"In an hour. They are preparing a gift for her. Daphne and Tori are also coming. I should go now, see you guys soon."

I apparated to the Forbidden Forest to fetch her friends.

[Luna Lovegood POV]

"Anybody home?" I was reading the Quibbler when I heard a voice from outside.

Recognizing the voice, I ran towards the gate. As I reached it, I saw him standing there with his usual carefree smile. His hair was messier than usual, but he still looked good.

"Are you not going to invite me in, Luna?" he asked. I ran towards him, grabbed his hand, and dragged him in without saying anything. He laughed and walked with me.

We both sat down in chairs. I was sitting beside him, and he looked around the house curiously.

"Why are you here?" I asked him.

"Hmm, dunno? Why am I here?" he said in a confused manner.

"You! Hrrumph," I turned my head away, not looking at him. He always tries to tease me, he's so silly!

"Hahaha," he laughed, which made me smile too. His laugh is so pure. I felt something on my head, so I turned around and looked at him.

Instead of seeing him, I saw my reflection. On my head was a blue tiara, something I immediately recognized—Rowena Ravenclaw's tiara. So beautiful.

The mirror disappeared, and he took my hand. "Happy Birthday, my dear friend Luna Lovegood," he said as tears appeared in my eyes.

I stood up from my chair and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me too.

I don't remember the last time anybody wished me happy birthday after Mother passed away, as Father always stays by himself today, mourning Mother's death. He loved her a lot. It is the only day I don't see him at home.

"Okay, stop crying. I have one more gift for you," he said as he patted my head.

I wiped my tears and moved away from him.

"Thank you, Agustus, for being my friend." You're my best friend, I think but don't say out loud.

"Thank you, Luna, for being my friend too. Now let's go. I have a surprise for you," he said as he took my hand and apparated us somewhere.

[Third Person POV]

Agustus and Luna appeared inside the Drakul manor. She looked around to see her gift but didn't see anything unusual.

"Hmm, where is my gift?" she asked, cutely tilting her head.

"Close your eyes, I'll take you there," he said.

Nodding, she closed her eyes. He put his hand over her eyes and led her to the garden.

"Now open your eyes," he said, removing his hands.

It was dark everywhere, and she couldn't see anything. But just as she thought about turning around,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUNA!"

Lights came on, and she saw a big "Happy Birthday" sign. Her friends were there, everyone wearing party hats—even the basilisk.

Again, tears appeared in her eyes.

"Thank you, guys," she said.

Dora appeared and hugged her. "Happy Birthday, Luna," she said, kissing her on the head.

"Thank you, big sis Dora," said Luna cheerfully.

"Happy Birthday, Luna! You look beautiful in that dress," said an excited Astoria as she hugged her friend.

Luna looked at her dress and saw herself wearing a light blue dress. It looked beautiful. She saw Agustus wink at her. He had transfigured her dress.

"Thank you, Tori."

Everyone wished her and gave her gifts. Unicorns and thestrals willingly gave her their tail hairs, while the basilisk gave her one of its teeth.

Skadi had given her a bottle of her tears. The twins and Cedric gave her pranking tools, which made her smile and thank them.

Narcissa, Bella, and Nagini gave her more jewelry, books on animals, she kindly thanked all of them.

House-elves appeared carrying food, and as the party started, music began playing.

Magical creatures had their own section. Unicorns enjoyed their apples, while the basilisk devoured some deers.

Luna danced and sang with all of them. Seeing her smile like this brought tears to Dora's eyes. She had really come to love this girl as her little sister.

"I want to dance with him now! Big sis Nagini has been hogging him for herself," said Astoria with frustration.

"No, I… I am not. Here, you can dance with him," she said, leaving Agustus and sitting down on a chair near Narcissa.

As they danced, he pinched her nose and asked, "Why are you so tough on her? You should have asked nicely."

"She's way too soft. She has to learn to stand up for herself. When I saw her for the first time during Christmas, she reminded me of myself. I want her to tell us her opinions, be rude to me, scold me like a big sister," she said, hugging him.

He sighed at the thoughtful girl and patted her head. "You're a good girl, Tori."

She let go of him and smirked. "That I am." They danced for a few hours. After that, he sent everyone home.

Luna stayed at the Drakul manor. She slept with Dora and woke up when she felt someone kissing her forehead. It felt familiar.

She opened her eyes to see an older version of herself—her mother. She had a hand on Luna's cheek, her eyes red from crying. Luna, without thinking, hugged her mother, praying that this dream would not end.

(Forks Town, near Transylvania Castle)

"Did you see another vision?" said the gentle voice of a woman as she stroked the head of the girl who was unwilling to go outside.

"Yes! But it was dark as usual, he's hiding himself from me!" she said, her head buried in her pillows.

"Don't worry, he'll appear. It's a bond that cannot be broken. Just give him some time," the woman tried to console the girl.

"But why? I don't understand," she said, finally lifting her head.

"Ask him when he comes here. Do you feel his feelings?" she asked, to which the girl nodded.

"That means your bond is strong. He would feel your feelings too. How sad will he be, feeling his future wife so sad and sulky?"

"I… I am not going to marry him. And let him be sad—he's stupid anyway," she said, stuttering, while she had a silly smile on her face, which made her mother laugh.
