Lightning spell module 2

"I have shown you the demonstration of normal rank 12 spell to widen your vision, but don't let it discourage you because those monsters called dukes have hundreds of years of experience backing them, while your journey has just started.

The talent you have shown till now and the resources you have at your disposal, if utilized properly will help you catch up to those monsters within few decades." Merlin's words encouraged me and I sighted and sat on the white floor once again to learn more spells.

"After seeing me now, what do you think, how much can i improve in the next ten years?" I asked.

"If I have to make a decision after seeing only one spell, I can tell you that the way you learned silent casting, multiple casting, divine attribute spell, overcharged spell and rank surpassing spell at your first try, you will be able to reach at least rank 6." Merlin said but it snapped my mood because I thought I would at least be able to learn up to rank 8 spells.

Nevertheless because of your immortal physique, you will be able to cast rank 7 and rank 8 spell barely with sever drawbacks, but don't think about casting rank 9 and 10 spell otherwise it may injure you permanently.

If you want to learn rank 7 spells for real, you have to defeat the dragon king Noob's consciousness first and evolve into ethereal physique as soon as possible." Merlin explained.

"Do you know how long will it take for dragon king Noob's consciousness to awaken?" I asked.

"I don't know exact time, if I have to make an estimate considering how powerful his core is, around 10 years after you have evolved." Merlin said.

"I have casted rank 1 spell easily in sea of consciousness, but will I be able to cast the spell in real world, because this is all just an illusion isn't it?" I asked curiously.

"You will face no such problem, you will need time to reconcile your new body and mind though." Merlin said.

"Okay, let me try another spell." I said.

"Try learning a defensive spell of rank 2." Merlin said to me.

I dived in my mind once again in the same cube from which I had extracted rank 1 spell [Thunder bolts] and looked for rank 2 defensive spell.

It didn't take long for me to find a defensive spell [Lightning field] and I transferred the information relating to it in my mind.

I closed my eyes and looked through the information again and again for almost half an hour until a satisfaction hit me that I had learned a spell.

[Lightning field] I muttered and arcs of electricity left my body spreading around the ground and air continuously.

As I activated the rank 2 spell merlin manifested two demonic beasts who were size of 2 meter each and had the built and shape of tiger but 100 times more ferocious as per my point of view, with black skin and uncountable teeth sticking out of their mouth.

As soon as they manifested they charged toward me and I increased the input of mana in [Lightning field] increasing it up to 10 meter of my surrounding.

As they entered the [Lightning field] I heard their painful cry but they kept charging at me without any care.

Seeing that the [Lightning field] was not working on them the way I thought, I attacked them with overcharged rank 1 spell [Thunder bolt] and their huge body took the attack head on and they stopped midway dropping to the floor.

I didn't deactivate the [Lightning field] and looked at both beasts with astonished eyes because their wounds were healing and they were about to gain their footing and charge at me once again but a smile appeared on my lips.

"Nothing can be hidden from your eyes." I said.

[Thunder bullet]

I manifested two overcharged [Thunder bullet] on the tips of my fingers, making them as sharp as I can and released them towards beasts head.

They pierced the beasts head at supersonic speed and the beast body fell to the floor lifeless.

"I was thinking why it took you so long to learn a defensive spell and then it clicked me that you must me trying to do something extraordinary like trying to learn two, rank 2 spells within half an hour." Merlin said.

"I was not showing off, but you can't underestimate the curiosity of a normal person who suddenly got the chance to shoot bullets from his fingers." I said.

As merlin said it didn't take me half an hour to learn a single spell but two rank 2 spell, the second spell I learned was [Thunder bullet].

[Description: Host can shoot the condense electricity from his fingers which travels beyond the speed of sound and penetrate the target's skin, if the bullet is overcharged it gains additional effect and once reached inside the targets body the bullet will explode]

I used the overcharged [Thunder bullet] which exploded inside the beast's head killing them on the spot and soon their bodies disintegrated.

"You need to continuously cast your spell and as you cast them, you will be able to cast them more efficiently." Merlin said and around me horde of beast came out of nowhere.

The ground beneath me rose to the height of 50 meter and I looked down on all the beasts, who were hungrily looking at me as to devour me right here and now.

"I have limited your mana reserve to 12,000 and mana regeneration to 1000 per minute, so try to fight with restrictions." Merlin said.

"And, you can lift the restriction I have put on you with just your thoughts, but try not to lift them, because that would spoil the whole purpose of our training." Merlin said.

"Bring it on." I said preparing to cast normal [Thunder Bolts].
