Genesis

I walked through the crowd of peoples but no one was able to recognize the fact that I was a human, because my facial feature and my human odor were perfectly disguised.

It was the first time in past 11 year I was walking between so many peoples and thus it felt little awkward.

I have forgotten my social etiquettes as the only person with whom I interacted during this time were merlin and babel.

My destination was predetermined, which was an secret intelligence organization called 'Genesis' which demon Jabel and Makia has visited before entering the dimension pocket and If everything goes according to plan, it won't be difficult to get their help and reach beast continent.

I swept my soul force in my surrounding and observed the 100 meter area around me and a real-time 3D holographic structure manifested in my sea of consciousness which I observed.

The buildings were mostly inhabited by the demons and in every home I sensed the presence of weak human.

The picture which manifested in my mind was similar to how humans treated their livestock's in my previous planet, which proved that this city was dominated by demons.

My 305 million unit of soul force was comparable to that of a lower ranked demon duke according to merlin, and unless there is someone who has more soul force than me, my soul force won't be detected.

Few minutes later we reached the center plaza of city, which was spread in 1 kilometer radius and was occupied by unique coliseum like structure.

Without hesitation I spread my soul force further to examine the activity going in the buildings and a holographic structure manifested in my sea of consciousness showing me the activity going on inside them.

'The situation is worse than I though.' merlin said in my head and I nodded examining the building, where a arena was prepared for a human and multiple beasts to fight, while demons and humans around the arena shouted the name of human, throwing stones at him.

On the other corner of plaza, there was a human and beast's auction was going on and demons as well as few noble humans shouted the bids for the human girl standing in center of the podium, shaking in fear.

'Are you going to take action?' Merlin asked me.

'It's not worth it.' I said and walked toward the noble district of the city.

It is not like I had no sympathy for these fellow human beings but given my current situation I don't have any plans to involve myself in the affairs of humans or demons, not until I have become strong enough to protect myself.

I was the hero, fundamentally sent to save them but whenever I thought of helping either side, my past memory resurfaced in my mind, where I was sold by my own parents to demon king.

'You must be surprised by my answer but….'

'No, I understand your situation, if even a small hint is given about our identity, the demons dukes will move to capture us and this time they won't be unprepared like last time.' Merlin said understanding my intension.

'I am just little confused, the system should have issued you a mission at a time like this but nothing happened…' Merlin whispered.

'Is that so?' I said.

'Yeah, the system has issued you only two mission, first was to kill or subdue babel and his forces and second was to help him ascend the throne, but when we left dimension pocket you fought against many other beast hordes but it didn't give you any mission, it is as if the system is guiding you on a path set in advance, but maybe I am overthinking things.' Merlin said and I contemplated for few seconds.

Merlin's hypothesis seemed reasonable because if not for system's mission, I would have left dimension pocket immediately and would have lost the opportunity to gain 'Meeker technique'.

Was all this fate or just a coincidence, thinking about this we came across the exit of the center plaza.

After crossing the central plaza we entered the noble district which was heavily guarded by demon as well as human guards.

On both side of street 3-4 stories luxurious mansions were built with quite a distance between them.

Each house had the deluxe carriage accompanied by ferocious looking demon beasts to pull them and I could sense presence of many powerful demons all around me.

'A lone guard is approaching you.' Merlin said and I also sensed a demon guard clad in black armor coming in my direction.

I changed the ether's size into a luxurious looking red box and turned toward the guard acting as a lost person.

"Can you guide me, where esteemed baron Jose's resident is?" I asked the guard before he could ask me anything.

"What business do you have with Baron Jose?" The guard asked me in an authoritative tone.

"I am a delivery boy, I work in the antique shop at the central plaza, he ordered some elixir from our shop, which I have come to deliver." I said stating the name on the nameplate of the mansion at the end of the valley.

"Follow this road, the last mansion on this lane belongs to Baron Jose, and don't linger any longer after making delivery, this place does not welcome filthy commoners like you." Saying this he glared at me one last time and left.

"Thank you kind sir, I will leave immediately." I said and walked toward the baron's house.

In front of every villa, at least two guards stood and some of them were humans having beastly features on their bodies, it was a indication that they have completed their transformation physique as only after completing their transformation physique one would manifest these unique features.

The street as well every mansion's surrounding it were equipped with observation crystals which had the function of recording the video footage same as cameras from my previous world.

Passing through the mansion of Baron Jose, I arrived at the entrance of the public garden, which was supposed to be filled with peoples but for some odd reason, it was devoid of any life.

Once again altering my appearance to that of a noble human, I changed the shape of ether into a face mask, which was black in color and only had two eye holes.

My current appearance was that of a 6 feet tall human teenager with black hair and blue eyes similar to a celebrity I had seen in the movie on earth.

'Time to do your thing.' Receding back into my sea of consciousness I handed the control of my body to merlin's soul and started watching the upcoming show.

Merlin took few steps toward the garden gate and stopped in front of an observation crystal and showed the back of his right hand, where a complex runic symbol appeared, which meant 'Rune master' in runic language.

Few minutes later the garden gate opened for us but behind it there was no garden to be seen and only a black portal appeared and a demon came out of it to greet us.

"Please forgive me for keeping you waiting and allow me to escort you to a place befitting of your status good sir." The demon said.

He was 8 feet tall black skinned demon with shining red eyes but I couldn't feel any mana coming out of his body as if he was a dead body, his movements as well as voice were robotic as he bowed his head in front of me.
