Ch.19 Rosemary village

Starting from this chapter, scathach skadi will called skadi instead of scathach.

It's been nearly three months since kingu and skadi accepted their first quest from the mercenary alliance.

In those three months, kingu and skadi completed many high ranking quest that mages all over ishgar know their names and capability to complete quests.

Now enough with the recap.

Kingu and skadi can be seen flying above a forest seemingly trying to find something inside the forest.

After a few minutes of searching, kingu and skadi finally found what they were searching for.

A building inside the forest covered with trees and other foliages.

It is the headquarters of a dark guilds that is to be exterminated by the request of the magic council.

Once kingu and skadi found the building, they stop above the building.

Once they are above the building, kingu launch a noble phantasm from the gate of babylon which hit the building.

A barrier manifested when the noble phantasm hit the building but was easily pierced by the noble phantasm thus the building was destroyed by the noble phantasm.

After the building was destroyed by kingu, mages who survive the impact of the noble phantasm emerge from the rubble of the building.

"Who are you people and why did you attack us?" A man who look like the leader of the guild shouted to kingu.

"A scum like you have no right to know my name. Now mongrel, surrender or face the consequences." Kingu replied in a gilgamesh manner.

"Surrender? Never" the man shouted as he and the other survivor of the dark guild cast a variety of spells and launch it towards kingu and skadi.

"Oh so you have choosen death then." Kingu said when the dark guild member launch their spells.

In response to the spells, skadi projected a large amount of divine iron shields to defend against the variety spells.

When the variety of spells hit the divine iron shields, a large amount of smokes appeared and covered kingu and skadi.

When the smoke dissipated, kingu and skadi can be seen unharm so the survivors of the dark guild couldn't help but uttered the word "monster" and tried to run away from kingu and skadi.

Seeing that the dark guild survivors are running, kingu launches noble phantasm towards them while skadi cast her freezing blizzards to freeze the dark guild survivors.

The remaining dark guild survivors and their leader was quickly incapacitated by kingu and skadi.

Once the whole dark guild was incapacitated, kingu and skadi headed back to the mercenary alliance knowing that the rune knights will capture the remaining live members of the dark guild if there was any.

Kingu and skadi rode on the vimana for a few seconds and got off the vimana once they reach blueberry town.

Once they reach blueberry town, kingu and skadi headed towards the mercenary alliance building to get their rewards for the quest.

After reaching the mercenary alliance building, they entered and headed towards the counter

Kingu and skadi was greeted by ella when they reach the counter

"Hello sir kingu and ms. skadi. Have you finish the quest already?" Ella inquired as she is not suprised about the fact that kingu and skadi is already back from the request since kingu and skadi always finish extermination type quests in a few hours.

"Yup and we're here to take the rewards." Kingu said while putting his hands on the counter.

"Good job as always. Could you please wait for a moment sir kingu while i take the rewards and contact the magic council of your completion of their request." Ella replied as she stand up from her chair.

"Of course." Kingu replied

After hearing kingu's response, ella proceeded to contacting the magic council.

A few moments later, ella returned while carrying the rewards of kingu and skadi for exterminating the dark guild.

"Here is the rewards for the quest." ella said as she handed the rewards to kingu.

"Would you like to take another quest?" ella ask as kingu always take another quest after finishing a request.

"Not today. I have some things that i need to do this following days so i might not have time" Kingu replied as he put the rewards inside the gate of babylon.

"Well then, good luck and safe trip to you and ms. skadi." ella said as she resume her work.

King and skadi exited the mercenary alliance building and headed out of the town.

On the way skadi ask kingu "Where are we going?"

"We're going to rosemarry village to recruit someone." kingu replied as he walks.

"Why now?" Skadi ask again.

"Because it's only around this time that person will be going to rosemarry village." kingu replied.

Once they exited the town, kingu summoned vimana and rode on the pilot throne while skadi also rode on the vimana.

Once skadi rode the vimana, kingu will the vimana to fly towards rosemarry village.

After a few seconds, the vimana is finally near rosemarry village so kingu landed it outside the village.

After that, kingu and skadi then got off the noble phantasm.

Once they landed on the ground, kingu unsummoned vimana and summon things that are neccessary for a camp.

Once the camp was finally set, kingu ask skadi.

"Do you have some spells that can detect a person."

"I don't have a spell like that but we can set up a bounded field that can alert us if someone entered it." skadi replied as she sat on an empty chair that kingu summoned when he set the camp.

"Then set it on the vicinity of the village but set it to only alert us when a strong person enter the village." kingu said .

"Okay" skadi said as she flyed towards the village to put the bounded field.

Meanwhile, kingu summon some uncooked food from the gate of babylon as he started cooking for lunch.

When skadi returned, kingu was finally finish cooking lunch so once skadi returned, they started eating their lunch.

After eating their lunch, kingu and scathach then waited for the bounded field to alert them but the bounded field did not alert them for the rest of the day so they eat dinner and slept after skadi set up a barrier so that no one will disturb them while they sleep.

Kingu and skadi waited for a few days and on the fifth day, the bounded field finally alerted them so they rush towards the source.

"She's finally here" kingu said as they flew.

"Who is it that we were waiting for?" Skadi replied.

"I'll tell you after we meet her. For now, let's hurry." kingu said.

After a few seconds, kingu and skadi is finally near the place where someone entered the bounded field.

Once they were near the place, kingu and skadi spotted a woman carrying a baby so kingu told scathach.

"Leave the talking to me." Kingu said as they approach the woman.

Author's Note: I haven't upload for three days since i've been busy as the enrollment of my school for next year is up.

The result of the poll that i created on whether kingu will have a harem is 7 to 5, in favor to harem so i decided that kingu will have a harem of 3 girls, something that i have an idea on how to make it happen.
