The fairies did not go easy on me, I spent the whole night in the center of the squirming fairy pile. What an overwhelming experience. The fairies attacked me like savage, hungry animals.
"Okay, you win." said Rose, cuddled up beside me tracing circles on my chest with her finger.
It was clear, hours ago, that Rose and all the other fairies were not going to allow me to lose.
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have stopped even if I begged for mercy. It's not that I wanted them to stop, necessarily, it's just that a few breaks would have been nice.
"Truly a pyrrhic victory." I said, drained in more ways than one.
"What's that?" asked Rose
"Never mind. I hope you're all satisfied, at least."
"Oh yes, very much so." said Rose, as the other fairies nodded happily.
"Are you happy that I'm your king now?" I asked.
"Does that mean you'll stay with us?" asked Rose
"No, it means you have to stay with me and do whatever I want." I said, then chuckled. "You fairies all belong to me now."
Oh no, I got a glimpse of Rose's scary smile again, when I turned my head to look at her. Once again, she immediately reverted to her usual smile.
"Then I've never been happier." said Rose, followed by a chorus of agreement from the other fairies.
"Besides, we were already willing to do anything you want. I can't explain it, but we just know we have to follow you." continued Rose. "I guess you were our king from the moment we met."
Damnit. Now that I think of it, I never checked if I could become their king without making it the stakes in a game. But, we probably would have ended up doing something like this either way, and I have to admit it was fun.
No wait, the real reason I came here was because Lily and Iris dragged me here to have fun. It seems like we did a good job of that. I wasn't interested in actually conquering the fairies, at first. I guess I just got caught up in the excitement.
Besides, if I was already their ruler. . .
"It sounds like you fairies need a lesson in loyalty and obedience." I said in a stern tone. "When I tell you I need to breathe, you don't stick your tongue in my mouth. When I tell you I want a break, you don't start fondling me even more, trying new things. When you asked 'why isn't it working anymore', it was because I needed a break."
"I'm sorry." Said Rose, sheepishly averting her gaze. "We really got carried away."
"And when it's clear I'm mistaken about something, you're supposed to tell me."
The other fairies also apologized, looking a little remorseful.
"It's alright, I'm sure you'll be more considerate next time." I said, my frustration was completely gone. "I'm glad you all enjoyed yourselves, and I enjoyed it too, for the most part."
"So, wanna take a bath next?" asked Rose
"Yes, good idea." I replied. I feel dirty in more ways than one.
