Chapter 48: One Step Away

Perplexed, the imposter watched the scene unfold before him, unable to comprehend the purpose of the skeletons.

Anger seeped into his voice as he defiantly shouted, "Skeletons? Do you really think they can harm and torment me? Sam, you underestimate me!"

Without hesitation, the imposter charged towards Sam, his sword raised high in a display of fury.

Sam, unperturbed by the imposter's aggression, briefly glanced at the skeletons and calmly instructed, "Show him the extent of your torture skills."

As the imposter closed in, ready to strike, Sam vanished into thin air, leaving the imposter swinging his sword at empty space.

However, before disappearing, Sam's chilling voice echoed in the imposter's ears, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Do not expect a painless death after crossing paths with me," he warned.

The imposter, now fully aware of the gravity of his situation, turned his attention towards the two skeletons.
