I was in bed, getting ready to strategize on how to get Chris's daughter when he called me.
Bastard. I was ready to rain insults on him.
"What do you want? Why don't you call Daven and share all your problems with him? You trust he can solve it better than me!" I didn't wait for him to speak when I picked the call.
"Please Adriana. I only told him about this cuz I was desperate. Plus, who knows? Maybe he can help." He said.
I kept quiet. I did not want to speak. Daven is not trustworthy and that is all I know. He is like all the remaining members of his family.
"The thing is," Chris kept talking. "Daven called and asked me to inform you that Taylor would be coming to dinner tonight."
"Oh, really?" I raised a brow. Of course it would be easy for him to get Taylor to come. They are future in-laws anyway.
"Yes. I am going to spy on him. Find out where he stays."
"And my role in all this?" I asked.
