Sister, I really don't know what you mean. I'm Lu Sichen's wife and I'm supposed to be on his side. Should I side with Lu Beichen now? No matter what happened between us before, I'm his aunt now!" Li Ran said.

Ha! They aren't the only ones who know how to act!

Li An was specheless! Is this the same Li Ran who loved Lu Beichen so much that she's ready to do everything for him?

Why did she change so much? How come she doesn't seem to care about Lu Beichen anymore?

"No...no sister...that's not what I meant at all! I just think that....you and brother Beichen used to be in love! You love him very much! It was brother Sichen who forced the both of you to break up! How can you say that you want to be with Brother Sichen? What about brother Beichen then? You are not someone like this, sister!" Li An said.

Li Ran was specheless with how shameless Li An is! She is asking her to cheat on her husband and yet she still finds a way to make it sound so reasonable!

"No matter what has happened between me and Lu Beichen before, right now, I am already married to his uncle. I am his aunt and he is my nephew. Sister, don't you think that I will be really shameless if I keep having relations with my nephew?" Li Ran asked. Li An isn't the only person who knows how to twist words to her benefit!

"But sister....!".

"Li An, I really don't understand what you mean by this! Right now, I'm Lu Sichen's wife! I used to date Lu Beichen in the past but the both of us are already a thing of the past! After all, who doesn't have a past?! Are you suggesting that I cheat on my husband or that I leave him? Where did you learn this from Li An? The Li family did not reach you these despicable manners!" Li Ran said.

Li An cletched hee fists tightly when she heard this. She felt that Li Ran was reminding her of the fact that she was brought up by her family and that she was been leeching off her family since she was born!

Li Ran's mother is the illegitimate daughter of the patriarch of the Li family. The patriarch had arranged for her to marry into a family of equal standing with the Li family but she had ran away from home while she was pregnant with her boyfriend's child.

The both of them got married however, Li An's mother who has already been used to living a good life in the Li family could not stay with her poor husband. She had to face reality.

In the end, she divorced her husband and brought her daughter away, even changing her surname to Li.

However, Li An's mother Li Fanxing, did not want to take care of a child. She dumbed her kid with her step brother and left without even looking back.

What is the difference between this and saying that she isn't a child of the Li family? And I'd she reminding her that her mother is only an illegitimate daughter who doesn't even have a place in the Li family right now?!

Lu Beichen was angry when he saw that Li An was holding back her tears. He glared angrily at Li Ran. Anyway, it seems that thier relationship will never go back to what it was before.

"Li Ran! What is the meaning of this? Do you have something against Li An? She was just worried about you! Why do you have to bring up those things? Don't you know how Li An feels about them? She calls you sister but you don't even treat her like a sister at all!" Lu Beichen said, scolding Li Ran. He just wanted to take out the anger that he was feeling.

"What exactly did I do Lu Beichen? It's not as if I said anything wrong right? It's not a lie that Li An's mother is the daughter of the Li Family right?" Li Ran asked. There was an innocent look on her face.
