Ch. 1

Hi, My name is Haru Akira. I'm just an office worker who have a hobby to play a virtual game.

My Age? I'm 34 this years. What? Is it weird to know that a middle-aged man to love to play a virtual game nowadays?

Well, there's a Virtual game popular nowadays among people of all ages called Adventure of Freedom. Yes, as its name said, it's a game that based on an adventure and a freedom.

You are free to do whatever you want inside of the game. A game based on an another world that exist on a virtual games, using an advanced machine.

You can be whoever you want. Anyway, i am a Swordsman Magician, with a high-end gears that i made by my self, using half of my salary every month just to make myself happy inside of the game.

You might be thinking that i am a ranker that specialises in PvP, aren't you? Nu-uh, you are wrong ~

I am a player that specialised in Cooking. Yes! Cooking is my dream and hobby, and my forte. Weird, isn't it?

Well, i decided to built up my gears and my character to make myself easier to get every kind of ingredients that i want from every monsters or location.

And Today! Is the day that i have been waiting for! Saturday!

I took my yearly leave from my office for a whole damn week just to enjoy my time on my gaming~!

"Alright everyone! Have a good time on your weekend!". I said it as i leave the building.

My Co-worker doesn't know that i enjoy my time just to gaming. Well, mostly of them already have a family, and i just doesn't blabbing about it either ~

I took a turn to a convenience stores and bought a lot of supplies for the whole week later. Rushing home by walking around 15 minutes from the office, i finally arrived at home.

Riinngg~ Riiinngg~

"Hello, Mom?". I answer the phone call and put it on speaker while i put my groceries to the refrigerator.

"Haru, your little brother is going to your place, he said he will meet with his high-school friends tomorrow around your neighbourhood. So i just told him to go to sleep at your places tonight".

"Ah, got it Mom! But make sure he will only spend the time at my place for only till tomorrow. I have a business at office and going to take a flight to Japan at Monday". I use the work business for my alibi, so my brother wont disturb me when I'm gaming.

"Okay, i will tell him that later. Thank you, Haru. I love you".

"Alright, Mom. And i love you too~". I end the call and took my time at the bath.

Clink, clink, chop chop chop

I walk out from the bathroom and found my little brother on the kitchen. Cooking some ramen with egg and some vegetables.

"Oh, you're here, when did you arrived? And is that some ramen for me too?". I ask him while drying out my hair, walking half naked to the table.

"When mom call you, i already on the way here. Mom told me that you're going to be away for a whole week? Here, some ramen". He answer me while handing me a chopsticks and a bowl of ramen.

"Yeah. I'm going to Japan. So you can only stay untill tomorrow and be gone, then~".

"can you please get me my bag over there?". I pointed my finger at the sofa.

He stood up and walk to a sofa, grabbing my bag, and hand it to me.

"Here, 10.000 Won. I'm lazy to buy something over there, so I'm giving you this". I put the money on top of the table and continue to eat.

"Thanks for the food. If you need me, I'll be on my room inside the gaming machine. You can press the call button from the outside. It will notify me from the inside of the game".

He just nodded his head. I then took off to my room, and get inside the gaming Machine.

"Now~ what do i do today~ the ingredients for my cooking is lacking just the wyvern meat and some honey. Maybe i will going to hunt the Wyvern now~".

I took a flight using a flying Magic to the Plain Hills on the west, and found a pack of Wyvern.

As i am about to hunt the Wyvern, some unexpected thing happened to me. A purple thunder, struck me by a surprise, and i died on the game.

Suddenly, my vision turned black. I can't see anything and i cant hear anything. It just, i just cant feel anything at all.

Some time has passes, i still can't feel anything at all. Usually, when my character died, a screen pop up and tell me the duration untill i got revived. But nothing popping up at all. Is the the game broken, by any chances?

I don't know if I'm sleeping or awake. I dont know if my eyes open or closed. I just can't see any light at all. It's pure pitch black. I don't know how long i was in this kind of situation in.

And then, a door suddenly appeared in front of me. I opened the door because of curiosity.

'is this a new event or something?'

But, what i see was not a familiar scene, but an unfamiliar ones.

I saw an old man, with a long grey hair, standing in the middle of the room, with his back facing me.

I took a step to come close to him. And then the old man turn his body towards me. Looking at me with a pitiful eyes and smile at me.

"Uhh, excuse me.. Who are you and where am i?".

"Child, I am a God and you are at my place". He answered.

"Huh?". I found myself got dumbfounded with the thing that I've just heard just now.
