[A technique created by you accidentally! Imbuing qi into your palm and speeding your palm so fast that it was was lit up created a new flame attack! The palm attack is silent and so is the flame. It disappears the moment the last ash is consumed!

"What was that!?" Master asked.

"I think I just created a new technique..."

"...."

I didn't even bother fixing the tree and I went to sit down beside him. Master and Disciple both lost in thought. However it was master who broke the silence.

"You're better than I thought. Let's call this technique [Silent Flame Palm]"

I almost laughed out loud but I managed to keep it inside. It seems like fate wants it to be [Silent Flame Palm]. Then I'll go with it.

The first technique I made.

"Take this," Master brought out a scroll.amd handed it to me. "It's all the palm techniques I have made in my life. I want you to have it. It's a legacy."

I took the scroll with stars in my eyes. Even if I couldn't have a sword path, these techniques would make up for it. Oh, I already tried feeling for my sword path again but it didn't work.

I knelt down on one knee and I cupped my fist in my palm. "Thank you master!"

"I still have one more thing to do for you." Master said.

He started to chant some spell and he placed his palm on my stomach. Then something hit me. It wasn't physical but it was mental. Then I saw an image for a split second.

A dark silhouette eating what looked like a human body, though that body had wings. An angel. Even though I saw it for a second I was able to make out horns forming a crown on the silhouette's head and I was pushed back to reality with a gasp.

"I have broken the remaining seals on you though there's one left. Never think of opening it or you'll die. We will all die." Master said with a stern look on his face

"...!!"

Seals? There were more on me?

{A year later}

In the realm I now find myself, time dances on a knife's edge, hurtling forward at the speed of light, yet crawling slower than a snail. This place is a veritable battleground of intellect, where pencils are our weapons and papers our sworn adversaries. The symphony of clashing pencils against unforgiving papers reverberates through the hall, shattering the oppressive silence.

And so, it is within this crucible that I now wage my final battle: writing my last papers.

"Stop!"

My fingers freeze in their relentless assault upon my beleaguered paper, and I raise my gaze, beseeching the invigilator for mercy. But my silent plea falls upon callous ears.

With a single dismissive gesture, the invigilator confiscates my paper, leaving me to retreat from the hall, my head bowed in defeat.

"Hey, man, that was a walk in the park!" Leon's voice pierces through the fog of disappointment beside me. "Although '20 A' was kinda challenging, I managed to get the formula in the end!"

"What 20 A? Are you kidding me? I never even laid eyes on it!" I exclaim, disbelief tinged with desperation.

"Seriously?" Leon retorts, his incredulous expression etched across his face. "You're telling me you didn't attempt it? It carries fifty marks!"

An overwhelming sense of fear descends upon me, casting a shadow over my very being.

"I'm doomed."

Just then Roy came in and joined us. "20 A was the best question I've ever seen!"

"What happened to Kevin?" he asked Leon seeing that I had my head down.

"Oh, he didn't see 20 A"

"Yikes, Sorry bud" he answered facing me this time. "Cheer up, I heard that if you do well in COCO, you'll be awarded 80 marks if you failed your finals."

"For real!?" I almost shouted.

"You already passed the preliminaries. Though we all lost." Leon said, dejected.

"I can't still believe Rachel was defeated by Leyn. They're ranks apart!" Roy shouted the last sentence.

"Don't worry guys. I'll kick his arse in the tournament." I said with a devilish smirk.
