Bloody Massacre

{A lil' warning to all of you, there'll be lots and lots of gore in this chapter. Fell free to skip though you might miss some info ( ꈍᴗꈍ)}

[APEX RANK BEAST]

Seeing those words took my soul out of my body.

~THUD~

I fell on the ground remembering that I was tilted upsidedown.

'Should I run?'

'If you ever see an apex rank beast... run.'

Mother's words came accross my mind but I wasn't even thinking anymore. The beast looked like something straight out of the devil's nightmare.

It was a giant. An human giant that had it's skin ripped here and there showing it's inner organs. Blood was constantly dripping from it but it didn't seem to care about that, it was eating everyone and there were already some teachers fighting it but it was pointless.

"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

The beast let out a primal roar that sent shivers down my spine. I was currently on the ground unable to move. A rock had hit me on the side of my head and I was bleeding.

"...evin! Kevin!"

Leon's voice brought me out of my daze. He picked me up and began to run to god knows where. "We're going to the auditorium! It's the safest place right now."

He had me over his shoulder as we ran so I was seeing the destruction in a VIP seat. We weren't the only ones running, the teachers had made way for the surviving students to run by fighting the beasts.

An advanced tier beast found it's way into the path we were running through and bit off the head of a student.

Blood spilled everywhere and everyone started screaming. We were children after all and we weren't used to bloodshed.

"C-COREY!!!" A student shouted.

An arrow lodged itself in the beasts head and it died and I saw Jasmine running beside us. I wanted to talk but I couldn't. I was drained of mana and it was affecting me.

I decided to cultivate while we were moving and I closed my eyes only to be interrupted by Jasmine who was scared that I had died.

"I...'m no..t de..ad (I'm not dead)" I barely whispered.

I closed my eyes and then I snapped it open almost immediately. How did she see my face? That's when it hit me, I wasn't wearing my mask. I had dropped it.

I regained some of my mana but I continued to cultivate. When I opened my eyes again I was dropped. We were all in the auditorium. The second year students had gone home without participating in the tournament and there were about a hundred students here, many were still outside.

"Ugh"

I groaned as I stood up.

"Don't force yourself." Leon said to me.

I had already filled up my mana and Qi core but the mental fatigue was still there. I looked around and I saw Roy, Jasmine and Leon. Rachel was... missing.

"Where's Rachel?" I asked.

Leon's face was paled before but it got even paler. "W-when we were running, there was an immortal rank beast a-and she s-stopped to fight it."

A wave of anger rushed through my body as I shouted "And you left her!"

I didn't wait for a reply, I ran out of the auditorium. I didn't hold back my aura as I ran. Lower ranked beasts evaded me and I ripped apart the beasts tried fighting me with my hands.

I searched as I ran, a student had her intestines out of her stomach, she was screaming in pain and shouting "Save me! I don't want to die! Mommy!"

I ignored her as I continued running, blood sprayed every where and I eventually found Rachel. She was fighting a 50 meter long centipede and she was on the verge of mana exhaustion.

Immediately I activated [Loophole S] and teleported her to the auditorium. I sighed out of relief. I looked up to see an angry beast that was seriously mad because I took it's prey.

The colour drained from my face and the beast used it's tail to hit me into the distance.

"GAK!"

I broke my ribs and I had to use [Time manipulation] to heal but what happened next made me wish I was never born here.

[APEX RANK BEAST]

I was right behind the Apex beast. I saw the teachers fighting but I didn't see master. Then I remembered, he had gone to meet father because of some issue that popped up.

Thankfully, I was able to run away... into the mouth of another immortal rank beast.

It was a bear and a vampire mixture with some features of a horse. I found myself in it's stomach and fear set in. I immediately tried [Loophole S] but it didn't work!

If what I had before was fear, this was terror. I was swimming in a sticky liquid and when I turned on the torch in my pocket I found myself swimming in blood and human organs!

"Carlos! What the fuck is happening!"

"Master, this beast seems to have the [Magic Nullification] spell."

"Alright, I'm fucked."

I shifted a little and I touched something something. I pointed the torch at it and I saw an human skeleton with it's organs mostly intact and some pieces of flesh hanging here and there and the worst thing was that it had a single eyeball staring at me.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Somebody save me!"

"...Do you want to be saved?"

"....!?"

I turned around to see who said that but I saw no one. "Okay, I'm hallucinating now."

"I'm in your head dumbass!"

"Carlos is that you? No you can't be Carlos. I'm seriously hallucinating."

"I am here master. I didn't say anything." Carlos said.

"Kid I'm in your head!"

"Uh? I have voices in my head?"

"I'm not a voice!"

"Who are you?"

"Heh, I am Lilith. The primordial demoness sealed within you as your fallen angel trail."
