It was snowing but Jamie did not close the veranda so he could feel the cold breeze while relaxing on the sofa with his laptop on his lap. The tea that he neglected is already cold and has no plans to reheat it. He wears a dark blue hoodie while still in his pajama pants cuz he hadn't changed since morning. The windows are already misty from the cold weather. The snow was dark outside without a snatch of light from the street lamps. The solitary embraces him but Jamie likes the feeling of coldness and his breath that forms visible smokes whenever he exhales air. The numbness of his fingers as the temperature continues to drop. This situation reminds him of his former life and how he enjoyed a peaceful evening with himself and his cat.
