Chapter 08 - Powering Up

It's been a few days since the dinner happened. Asia is living with us now.

I couldn't really let her live in an abandoned church. My parents also helped in persuading her. Asia is happy though, but I can notice the disappointment she's feeling.

Speaking of the Abandoned Church, maybe I should just kill them... Nah, too lazy to do that. Let my future self handle it.

Now that I think about it, if Asia stays with us, what happens to Rias' peerage? Wait, what about Itsuki?

Rias and co is weak, with the exception of Akeno. We train everyday, whether in the battlefield or the bedroom.

Different from the original, Akeno uses her light power or holy lightning.

And because Akeno and Yuuma are twins, Yuuma can use the holy lightning albeit much weaker though Yuuma has more control.

If Akeno can fry you with lightning, Yuuma can do it too but with less lightning. There's also the case where Yuuma can control a limb by stimulating the nerves with electricity. Though she has to put her arm on it.

We already tried a copper wire and it works but she need to exert more lighting. We're still experimenting on converting her lightning to electromagnetic waves for her to control someone remotely. Just put an antenna on someone's nape and remotely control that person.

Then there's Itsuki. There's a mass of Draconic energy densely surrounding her soul(?).

I don't know when but she unlocked Boosted Gear earlier than expected. Her fine control of Draconic energy proves that.

I spent so much time with her that some of the Draconic energy got absorbed. It unlocked a quest for a new form.

Too much requirements but the design of the skin or form is great.

There's two designs. The first one is cool, the design itself doesn't struck fear but shows the Draconic Nature of the skin.

The second one, *chef's kiss* so damn amazing. If I saw that on the battlefield, I would immediately remove myself from the Earth's surface.

It doesn't help with the blue color. Blue is the hottest color of fire and seeing that blue glow at night is not fun.

Another part is that the glow is just on the body, not on the wings. You wouldn't even know that it is flying. As they say no matter what it is, whether it may be Argus or a cockroach, once it starts flying, its fucking terrifying. And we can all agree to that.

Back to Itsuki... She's a bit problematic... Especially that move she created.

And then my clothes shred. How? How is this even possible?!

I showered her with love and sex everyday. How is she making these moves!

On a side note, after she broke my clothes, we fought in the bedroom.

Let's go back to training Rias' Peerage.

I met Rias, multiple times. My impression of her gradually got positive as the time goes by. It's just that, I can't shake the feeling that her methods of "Recruitment" is not good to say the least.

If you think about it, almost all of her peerage was recruited when they're near death. Most of the none near death recruitment happened when Issei recruited them by actions and words. Not directly but you get the point.

What a pure "Coincidence" that Rias met her peerage when they're near-death state.

But... I have to be good to her, because she saved Akeno when I couldn't...

This is atleast, the payment that I owe to her for saving Akeno.

Then there's Kiba. From what I remember, he's a good guy but he's not mentally well? I met him. Cool guy. He's chill. I like having a duel with him. His speed is great, his swings are heavy yet he almost leaves no openings... There's room for improvement alright.

His sacred gear is great. It can create a lot of demonic swords. Kind of like a certain Faker but just demonic swords. Should I show him Excalibur Morgan? Its Excalibur but corrupted by Evil. Since Evil is connected with Demons or Demonic maybe he can? Hmm...

Koneko... She's a bit... I don't know... Emotionless? Of course she's emotionless. The Peerage Mascot Loli. She's strong but she's a bit lacking? Everybody knows that the greatest defense is offense... Or was it vice versa? Though making her more durable is a great investment.

Another thing if she can counter. When receiving damage, she can instantly turn that force into an offense. Once she absorbed damage and turn into offense, multiplied by her immense strength... That's scary.

There's... Wait, who was he again? Garchomp? Garpell? Garshtomp? Gasper(I have to search the internet.)? Ah yes, Gasper. But we wont talk about him for now.

Should I also teach them True Damage? No matter if there's a barrier or not, True Damage will pierce that shield. No attack or magic resistance can block that damage. Except more health.

How about giving them items from the game? Haas' Claws for Koneko, Demon Hunter Sword for Kiba, Genius Wand for Akeno, Blood Wings for Rias, Brute Force Chestplate for Itsuki, Lightning Truncheon for Yuuma and finally, Oracle and Flask Of The Oasis for Asia.

Haas Claws for Lifesteal, Demon Hunter Sword is self explanatory, Genius Wand for reduce the mana needed, Blood Wings to improve Rias' destruction power, Brute Force Chestplate for stacked defense, Lightning Truncheon for improved lightning power output. Oracle and Flask Of The Oasis for improved healing capabilities.

But the focus is Akeno, Koneko, Kiba and Rias.

So in all, there's four of them? Should I join? They're severely outnumbered. Wait... If Riser wins, he gets Rias Peerage. That means he also gets Akeno... Nah, I ain't letting him. Gonna show him why Immortality is a curse.

Alright! We start training tomorrow! How to train them... Just beat them up until they can fight back. Yeah, that's a great starting point!

Well training tomorrow will also help me with changing my lifestyle.

Because Filipinos are known for procrastinating.

I'm surprised I haven't got the sin of Sloth yet.

"What? It's so early..." Rias replied while her eyes are still closed.

"What's this about, Kazumi-kun?" Kiba asked me.

"I'm going to train you! You guys are so weak! And Koneko wake up!"

"I want to go back to bed! Its 4 am!"

"Ufufu, Kazumi, if you let me skip, I'll reward you later~ Ka~ Zu~ Mi~!"

"No exceptions! You all have to train! This is the chance for you to grow and be strong!" This is also my punishment for taking Asia and Itsuki but I won't tell you that.

"Wait, why are we here too?"

"Itsuki! This a chance for us to beat up Kazumi!"

Then I grabbed my whistle.

"Where'd that come from?!"

"*PRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTT!!* Come at me!"

"This is pointless. I'm going back to bed."

"There's a barrier surrounding this place! You won't be able to leave unless I say so! If that doesn't motivate you! I'll give you a reward if you manage to touch me!"

"Anything?"

"Anything!"

"Even that?"

"Yes, Itsuki. Even that, but only if you manage to touch me!"

"Let's go! Boosted Gear!"

"Akeno... She said what gear?!"

"If you don't come to me, I will be the one to come!"

Pause...

"Arrgghh! Okay! Kiba and Koneko you take the left, Akeno take the right! Itsuki follow Kiba and Koneko! Yuuma join your sister! Asia, stay behind me!"

"Kazumi-san, Rias-san! I'll do my best!" Even Asia was getting fired up.

"Hey don't command me! You Red-haired boobs for brain woman!"

"Hey! Don't give orders to Itsuki-chan! Only I can do that!"

"That's righ– what did you say?!"

I can already tell. This is going to be so much fun...

I was once isolated.

No friends.

Always alone.

It was because of my power.

There was the time I healed a Devil.

I was shamed.

I was called a witch.

I don't understand.

Didn't the lord taught us to "Love our enemies as we love ourselves"?

I used the power the lord gave to me to heal people.

I don't blame the Lord. I am thankful for the gift He gave to me.

And I'm sure the lord has plans for me.

Because he said,

So I prayed. I thanked him for everyday. He answered my prayers.

I met a good person. I met a lot of people. They did not care who I am or what I am.

So I pray once again, thank you lord.

And I'm back. This chapter was done a week ago, but I needed to do some modifications to the chapter.
