Come clean
Helena waited for 30 minutes before she heard a soft knocked on the bathroom door, she cupped her ear onto the door slowly trying to hear of what is going on behind the wall.
"Aunty Helena, its me Cael..." a soft child voice can be heard like a whisper.
She unlocked the slowly and saw Cael standing alone in the ward room with a smile on his face, Daniel had called Troy earlier to fetch Cael from the mansion since Helena had gone into berserk mode after their kiss, he felt a little tugged in his heart as soon as her cracked voice was heard behind the door. The overbearing Helena once again crumble, her weaknesses are too obvious, it always involving a matter of heart.
Cael held her wrist and held it to lead her back in the ward, her eyes moving wild scanning the room confirming if Daniel is still around.
"Dad is outside.."
weakly nodding from Cael words, her paled face looking hollow, like her soul has been sucked out dry by the night creature. He is well versed of her conditions growing up back in the other world. Daryl and Raymond never stop talking and telling stories about Helena every breathe they could to him, making him feel like he had known her personally and long enough.
"He is a good person mom...you should give your heart a chance.."
"What if it happens again? my heart cant take it anymore, do you remember Ethan approaching me on the dinner party?" She crossed her arms trying to weigh her options.
"Let us tell him the truth?"
"And then what? he will locked us up in a mental institute!! " Helena was furious and raised her voice towards the calm Cael. He shook his head convincing her to come clean.
The two sat silently without giving each other any reason to talk, they spent hours just staring on the floor when the door was open from the outside. Daniel clad in his suit like a dashing man he is, is now looking fresh and the stubble he had from staying in the ward for 2 days is perfectly shaved.
Helena tugged the hem on Cael shirt signaling him to not tell Daniel anything, stood there watching and observing these two, Daniel had figured something going on, Helena previous relationship with Cael was also something even Molly and Cade were envy off. Now eve after she supposedly suffer from the amnesia, she is still close to Cael without feeling awkward.
Heading to the velvet Victorian accent chair near the window, Daniel sat and crossing his legs without taking his eyes off Helena that suddenly turned into a little mouse.
"I will leave you two, call me when you need me, i will be outside with uncle Troy." he hugged and whispering to her ears the words that change her life for the better.
"We are your family mom, we love you, give us a chance"
Helena nodded with a faint smile on her lips.
Cael looking at Daniel smiled again before exiting the room and sneakily giving him a thumbs up making Daniel chuckled seeing his adorable chubby face fully hopeful for them.
Helena looked at the handsome perfect man in front of her that is desired by so many women in the country, and yet here she is married to this Greek god.
"I am not Helena" she blurted out the words closing her eyes scares of Daniel reactions. For few mins it was silent as a night, she peeked slightly from her other eye to see Daniel still sitting waiting for her.
"I know....." He gave her the answer without having any emotions in his face.
"Tell me, no judgement zone here" he knows he will never blame her for anything, the moment he admitted his feelings towards her, he knew he is done for and will be the slave for a woman name Helena.
"I am Helena, but not this Helena.." feeling like a crazy person she keeps staring at Daniel to read his expression, but he has this neutral expression, not showing any anger, shocked, or frustrated, its making her even more nervous than her first assignment from the Cabal before.
