Inside a manor a 14-year-old black haired girl was sitting on her bed, drawing something in her sketchbook. Suddenly the door to her room is opened and a man with similar features as her comes in.

"What are you drawing there, cousin?"

Startled, the girl managed to hide the sketchbook behind her back before he could see what was on that page.

"Nothing, shouldn't you be going for your daily practice with Uncle in the backyard"

"Yes, I was just going there ... You know if you're bored here alone, you can come out and watch us train"

"No it's ok, I am not bored." The girl said, clearly not interested in the weapons training they had going on.

"Suit yourself" The man, expecting the answer, shrugged his shoulders and headed towards the door. The girl feeling relieved brings out her sketchbook to her front.

Looking at the page, she remembers that night again and hugs the sketchbook close to her chest. Seeing his cousin about to leave, she yells, "Wait, I am coming", She then closes her sketchbook and keeps it underneath her pillow carefully, like it was her treasure.

Both of them then proceed to go downstairs in the large manor. "So, I was thinking maybe instead of just watching, you and uncle could teach me too"

"Well, sure if you want … you can start from today as we were just going to practice crossbow in the barn."

As soon as both of them leave, a person comes inside her bedroom from the balcony. He picks the sketchbook from under the pillow and opens it.

He smiles seeing a handsome face drawn inside it, and flips the pages to see more of his own drawings and an S symbol drawn on many pages, he also sees many darker drawings most probably her nightmares, closing the sketchbook with a sigh, he puts it back where he found it and flies away while thinking about that night.

Tonight a Mafia family from Gotham was gonna disappear, but I wasn't here to prevent that, I was here to take an item and make sure a certain someone is not harmed.

As I look down, there are black-clothed men infiltrating the villa and taking down the lookouts and the guards swiftly and quietly.

I then watched a black-clothed man who seemed to be their leader barge inside the villa where a family of three was having their dinner. The man proceeded to shoot both the husband and the wife not giving them time to make any noise, killing them on the spot.

The 14-year-old girl was too shocked to even scream seeing her parents who were now lying on the dinner table in a pool of their own blood. The man proceeded to search the husband's pockets, he took out what looked like a big spherical diamond and pocketed it.

Seeing the man search her father's dead body, the girl screams aloud in horror, the man points his gun at the girl to make her shut up. Seeing that as my cue, I swooped down inside the villa from the opened door and knocked the guy out while also taking the diamond from his pocket.

The girl seeing the black-clothed man fall on the floor, shuts her mouth and looks at the new arrival. I ignore her for now and zoom outside knocking the other guys out and come back in front of the girl.

I hug her by the waist and take her to her room upstairs, before she could realize what happened I release her.

"You'll be safe here, lock the door and don't come out for now" as I was about to go away, she grabs my hand.

"Wait? Who are you? Who was that guy? … He... He killed both mom and dad!!", remembering what happened she starts to cry, seeing her like this I bring her in for a hug and rub her back comforting her.

"I am sorry about your parents" She started to struggle a bit trying to get away from my hug, "Release me, I want to see them, they might still be alive."

But I continue to hug her and speak patiently in her ears "look it will be hard for you from today on, but you will have to stay strong alright, you will have to be a strong girl"

Hearing my words she starts crying even louder on my chest. Knowing that people will come soon, I pull her away from my chest "I have to go now … It may still be dangerous outside so stay right here, ok"

"No no, don't go, don't leave me alone … I am scared", She hugs me by my waist tightly, not letting me go.

I make her look at me and wipe the tears falling from her blue eyes, I then take her hand and put it on my chest "You may think you are afraid right now, that your whole world is dark and scary … but give it time, you will find your courage, you will find your strength" while holding her hand I trace the red S symbol on my suit. "you will find your hope"

As she was looking absentmindedly through her wet eyes at the S symbol, I disappeared from her front, flying out of the window, closing it behind.

That girl was Helena Bertinelli, the future Huntress. And that diamond held the account numbers and passwords of the offshore accounts of the powerful Bertinelli crime family.

This diamond was supposed to disappear tonight mysteriously and resurface years later which would be taken from the black mask's organization by the newly formed group Birds of Prey, which will then operate on its funds.

But I think this money will be better utilized in my hands. If the group Birds of Prey need funding later in the future, then I will personally satisfy each of them.
