Chapter 9 Hellblaze

Sigris POV

3 days after my training with Zeldris.

Training ground.

I'm currently training my proficiency in Hellblaze.

Hellblaze has many variation as technique, and i'm currently possessing normal variation , which almost every member of Demon Clan knows, the Enchant: Hellblaze.

Contrary to normal beliefs, Hellblaze is actually easy to learn for a Demon that is and one Human at time could also use it but Hellblaze is normally exclusive to Demon Clan, but Hellblaze from different persons does not have same strength.

Let's take example, Monspeet is one of the greatest users of Hellfire, and his resistance against it gave him advantage to likes of Estarossa(Who we at that time still didn't know was Mael), resistance , power and manipulation.

To strengthen one's Hellblaze , you need to use it more , better magic control, concentration and more techniques.

"Enchant: Hellblaze" I enchanted my Zephyr with Hellblaze before slashing it at nearby rock with small strength, not enough to pierce it.

"Enchant: Hellblaze!" Hellblaze is strong flame, enough to stop regeneration abilities of Immortals such as Ban, flame simply won't stop till it turns whatever it was attached to into ashes. 'I'm planning to become something akin to mage-swordsman, with abilities of mage and swordmanship even sharper than Zeldris! But from what Chandler said , i have talent for Hellfire attacks and i should focus on them first before trying to learn swordsmanship,'

I glanced at my bag , 10 meters away. In it are several books about Hellblaze techniques. Today I'm here to test my Enchant: Hellblaze and to learn Hellblaze, another Low-Level Hellblaze spell. This spell was also used by Hendrickson.

*Swish!

"Let's see, imagine normal Enchant: Hellblaze, concentrate fire at tip of your weapon and release it with burst of mana, and control it ." I read book as i opened needed page, after more reading, it seems i need basic control of Wind element, which thankfully i have with Chandler teaching. Basic control of Wind element is imagination, wind and cursing mana around your body with chant.

"Hellblaze Wave!" I shouted , but nothing happened ,what i did wrong?

"Hellblaze Wave" Nothing happened again.

"Hellblaze Wave" This time, Hellblaze manifested for two or three seconds before dissipating .

'Hmm'

After couple of dozens more tries, i still hadn't managed to make actual Hellblaze Wave. In conclusion i needed better control of my wind element.

Nothing wanting to waste my time i moved to next Low-Level Hellblaze technique, which was like normal Enchant: Hellblaze but instead being manifested on weapons, it's manifested on part of your body.

"Hellblaze," I murmured before my right hand got enveloped in black flame, and i don't feel pain. SUCCESS!

"Let's try this," I though out aloud before grabbing small stick in my right hand, not putting any pressure on it, just letting Hellblaze to turn it into ashes, not even nan-second later , nothing remained of it. Not even ashes.

But the moment my mind forgot about Hellblaze it turned off. In conclusion i definitelly need better and more precise concentration, if i'm distracted even for a moment on battlefield, i could become a corpse in instant.

'Let's see, for not it would be best to learn basic Low-Level Hellblaze techniques before moving to stronger variant, but let's try Enchant: Hellblaze with my PDL armor and weapons." I though aloud before equipping it.

*Swish with light my armor manifested around me,

"I definitely need to find more weapons and swords."

"Enchant:Hellblaze" I stated using my Katana as weapon this time and as expected it worked, same as with my Zephyr.

"Let's try with axe, Enchant: Hellblaze!" I used my axe , swinging it up and down several times. Nothing different, same with Great Sword.

"Let's try with spear, Enchant: Hellblaze" I grabbed my spear, accidentally thrusting it forward with Hellblaze, Hellblaze literally flew from spear creating a line of black fire before it touched small rock.

"Okay, i see difference."

Next day

Training ground.

"Each day, my PL in magic increases slightly . Not enough to be impressive. " I said, examining my PL of 30,540. 'But as Demon, i shall focus on my strength as it should be easier to gain than magic.'

"Hellblaze Wave!" This time! My attack was successful! Creating several tentacles of Hellblaze which were fired from tip of Zephyr before morphing into big ball of Hellblaze, controlling it around before hurling it at giant rock.

*BOOM! Small explosion happened obliterating whole rock!

After first successful Hellblaze Wave , i repeated said attack by dozens of times . Either aiming at ground, stones or tress that are isolated from others. To get feel of said attack.

*Swish, with beam of light i re-equipped my PDL armor, before trying to coat it with Hellblaze, it was successful!

"This is not half bad." I murmured, seeing my armor coating in dark flame, to Humans i would looks like cursed Knight or something similar, with four floating weapons around me. That was enough of playing with Hellblaze for now.

I turned Hellblaze off, before commanding my four weapons to levitate around, before hurling them at tress and stones, to chop them off.

For better levitation i was using my hand . Motioning with it where should my weapons attack.

Hours of non-stop levitation had improved it considerably ..

'But now , it's time to visit Chandler and to get few more books for better levitation and concentration of mana' I though before un-equipping my PDL armor and creating wings of darkness before flying at Chandler's location.

Several minutes of Flying, i reached Chandler's tower. Wings made of Darkness are definitely fast.

The moment i landed, i knocked at doors of said Tower, few seconds later they were opened by Demon i still wasn't able to meet personally, that said Demon is other Half of Chandler. None other than Cusack.

"Oh! You must be Your Highness Sigris!" Said Cusack immediately kneeling down in show of respect, this did caught me off guard but i managed to compose immediately thanks to DK who literally has taken my emotions.

"Stand up, you must Cusack." I replied to him.

"Your Highness, you are already so knowledgeable , just like your older brothers, what else can be expected from son of Demon King." Complimented Cusack, standing up.

"Thank you, is Chandler here? " I asked him. But as i asked him, we heard Chandler's voice.

"I'm here Young Master, please go in." Said Chandler, bowing his head.

"I heard about your unique magic "Re-equip " Your Highness, along with special Commandment bestowed to you by your Father, rumors are spreading fast. " Stated Cusack," I wanted to meet you personally, i heard from His Highness Zeldris of how you want to learn way of the sword."

"Ah yes, after teachings of Chandler, i was planning to learn how to properly wield weapons , from swords to spears," I replied, turning around to look at him, while returning each book from my bag i had brought with me to Chandler.

"Shall we begin?" Asked Chandler, motioning with his staff at doors which lead to training ground.

I nodded before following him.

"I heard great things about you, Cusack. Such as you are one of best swordsmans in Demon Realm," I complimented him.

"I'm not worthy of your praise , Your Highness, " Replied Cusack before following us.,

"Hmm."

We passed through doors, leading to training ground before Cusack mentioned something.

"Your Highness, i have also brought several gifts for you. Originally they were my old weapons, but i don't use them anymore and they remain only to get dust." Mentioned Cusack before moving his hand over his chest and darkness appeared in it. And he pulled one sword after another out of it, similar like Estarossa did with Zephyr. He also pulled several spears,

"I planned to give them to His Highness Zeldris, but he refused them. Saying they would be better with you." Said Cusack before pulling small dagger." Almost all of these weapons have some type of ability, such as this dagger, it can poison Low-Level Demons such as Gray and Red."

"This sword is just normal sword with high durability " Said Cusack motioning at long sword.

"This spear has fire element embedded in it, you could summon normal flames in it." Commented Cusack, this time pointing at lone-red spear.

"This short-sword gives you ability to better control Wind Element attacks with it."

And so, Cusack gifted me quite strong weapons. But unfortunately non of them are as strong as Sacred Treasure but nonetheless , they would be useful in future on some way. As each of them is unique in some way.
