Dying

I was just your everyday millionaire, I inherited my business from my father when he died.

I wasn't like every other millionaire, I didn't play around with women I've actually only had one girlfriend and that was in high school, I got to busy after I took over the business to worry about something like a girl.

It was like any other day I got up, drank my coffee, ate my breakfast, and got into my car to drive to the office.

On my way to the office I stopped at a stop light when it turned red, I was the first one in line so I was watching the light.

While watching the light thinking (it was taking to long,) I heard other cars honk there horn so I looked up to see a truck barreling straight to me.

I look to my left then right to see cars to close to me to move so I put it into reverse to try to escape, but as soon as I released the gearshift it all went black.

The next thing I remember is that I'm in this black space of nothingness.

I don't know how much time has passed all I know is that I've been here for a long time, all I've been doing is sitting here in place and thinking about my life.

Sadly I don't think anybody will miss me, my parents died a couple years ago and my friends, my friends won't miss me I'm pretty sure they only hang out with me was because I had money and fame.

While I was thinking about how I did nothing with my life, a middle aged man walked into the space out of nowhere.

"Hello young man, how are you still in this space."

"How am I still here, I'm still here because I can't go anywhere."

The old man stood in place thinking for a moment. "You're very interesting, normal souls would just vanish by themselves and go back into the reincarnation cycle after a couple hours, but you're different you have been here for a couple hundred years."

"COUPLE HUNDRED YEARS!!"

"Yeah, that would be my fault, after I noticed you didn't disappear I wanted to see how long you'd last but when I noticed you didn't disappear I decided to give you a way out of here."

"I'd like that very much."

"Great, you have two choices.

First One, go into the reincarnation cycle with your memories wiped but I'll make sure you have a good life.

Or you could spin two wheels to get reincarnated into another world with a few wishes."

I went quite for a couple of minutes thinking about the ups and downs of both choices.

"Do I get to keep my memories if I choose another world?"

"Yes you will, if you go to another world you'll be my entertainment and I want you to have any advantage you can get."

"I don't know how to take that, I'll just ignore the entertainment part for now because I don't think I can do anything."

"I'll spin the wheels, I want to remember my old life."

The old man snapped his fingers and two spinning wheels appeared.

He walked over, "since you don't have arms I'll spin for you just tell me when you want me to start and stop.

The first one will be the world you'll go to, the second wheel will be the character you take over, you will get all there past memories to help you fit in."

"Great, ok let's get this over with let's spin the first one," after a couple seconds, "ok.... Stop!"

"Ok let's see, you got (that time I got reincarnated as a slime.)"

"Reincarnated as a what, I've never heard of that show?"

"Oh, I forgot to mention there will be shows that are from different worlds sorry I forgot to mention that."

Moving to the next one. "Ok let's see what character you'll take over."

Taking a imaginary breath. "Spin it."

He turned the wheel, then after a few. "Stop the wheel."

"You got Rimuru, that's the main character, he's a reincarnated person himself so you'll get his memories of his old life, you'll take his place before he would have woke up in that world."

"The main character that a good and bad thing, good because I'll have the protagonists luck but I'll also have everyone come after me."

Snapping his fingers to make the wheels disappear. "Now what would you like your wishes to be?"

Thinking for a moment. "I'm guessing a slime would be genderless

And doesn't have a human form?"

"You'll have a skill that allows you to eat and take the form of the creature you eat."

"Good so I could eventually get a human form.

Ok for my first wish, I'd want to be able to always have my forms work like normal when I'm in them, like for humans eating sleeping children all of it.

For my second wish I don't want to be genderless.

Everything else I'd like to have I can get later with that devouring skill."

With a smirk. "If that's all I'll send you on your way."

"I thank you very much."

He snapped his fingers and my surroundings went black.
