4 Chapter first mission, drunk

The next day, I woke up and realized I had slept in my armor. I was mentally exhausted because of the memory fusion, and I felt like my personality had changed a bit. I went to the Knights of Favonius headquarters to see if there was a mission available. I wanted to improve my skills and earn some money by defeating bandits or monsters.

As I entered, I saw Jean and approached her.

"Good morning, Jean. Are there any missions available that I can take on?" I asked.

"Good morning, Madara. Yes, there are a few missions available, but I need to ask you something first," Jean replied, studying me carefully. "Are you feeling alright? You look a little worn out."

"I'm fine, Jean. I just had a rough night. Please tell me about the missions," I said, trying to sound more alert.

Jean raised an eyebrow but decided not to press the matter. "Alright then. We have a mission to take down a group of bandits causing trouble in the area, and another one to escort some merchants through a dangerous forest. Which one do you prefer?"

"I'll take the bandit mission. I want to challenge myself," I replied confidently.

"Very well. Be careful out there, Madara," Jean warned me.

After receiving my mission, I headed out to complete it. As I walked towards the location, I sensed someone following me.

On arriving, I saw a group of bandits led by a large, burly man. To my surprise, I was able to defeat them easily with my taijutsu skills.

"Mission complete," I said to myself, content with my performance. "I'll report back to Jean and collect my reward."

As I walked back, I again felt someone following me. I activated my Mangekyō Sharingan and called out, "Come out, or I'll feed you to the ten-tails beast!"

Jean emerged from the shadows.

"Sorry for following you, Madara," Jean said, holding up her hands. "I just wanted to see your skills in action. You're a formidable warrior, and I have no doubt that you will be an asset to the Knights of Favonius."

"I understand, Jean," I said, deactivating my Mangekyō Sharingan. "But please don't sneak up on me like that in the future. It could have ended badly for both of us."

"I apologize," Jean said, bowing her head. "I won't do it again. Now, let's go report your mission success and collect your reward."

As we walked towards the Knights of Favonius headquarters, Jean asked me about my fighting style.

"You seem to be very skilled in taijutsu. Where did you learn it?" she asked.

"I learned it from my clan. We have a long tradition of martial arts training," I replied.

"That's fascinating. I've always been interested in different styles of fighting. Maybe you can teach me some moves sometime?" Jean said, smiling at me.

"I'd be happy to," I replied, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Jean.

As we reported my mission success to the Knights of Favonius, Jean introduced me to some of the other members.

"Madara, this is Kaeya, one of our senior knights," Jean said, gesturing towards two individuals standing nearby.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," I said, respectfully.

"Likewise," Kaeya said, nodding his head.

After completing my mission and receiving my

reward After I finished buying new clothes and supplies, I returned to the inn and paid for the next month. As I walked to my room, I caught sight of my reflection in a window and muttered to myself, "Handsome as ever."

I then went to Angel's Share, where Venti enjoyed wine and food. As I entered, I saw Jean again and greeted her warmly, "Hey, Jean. Third time we meet today."

Despite my cold and emotionless demeanor, Jean had noticed that I had a gentlemanly and warm nature towards people. "Hello, Madara," she responded with a smile. "Nice to see you again. I see you have some new clothes."

As I sat down with Jean and we drank, I couldn't help but notice the other patrons staring at me with a mixture of fear and admiration. My cold and unwavering voice seemed to make them uneasy, but Jean knew that I had a kind heart.

As the night went, As the morning dawned, I woke up feeling a sense of unease. I tried to recall the events of the previous night but my memory was hazy. I searched for Jean to clear my doubts, but she was nowhere to be found.

However, as I looked around the room, I noticed a piece of paper with some writing on it. It read, "Don't worry, Madara. Nothing happened between us. You were too drunk to do anything, and I took care of you."

Relieved, I let out a sigh and sat down on the bed. I was grateful to Jean for taking care of me, but at the same time, I was embarrassed for getting so drunk.

"I need to be more careful with my drinking," I said to myself, crumpling up the paper and throwing it in the wastebasket.

Feeling better, I got up and got ready for the day ahead
