Chapter 3 : Clementine?

"Ugh"

Lee grunted as he got hit in his head with a baseball bat from his right side as soon as he entered the house

He held his head for a while as he felt fuzzy and pain 

A hit like that wouldn't have much effect on Lee's body but for some reason he fell on the ground and started to lost consciousness 

"Hey it's not one of those, It's a Alive"

"Ye-Yeah, Did he D-Die, Let's turn him around"

"Isn't that . . .?"

That's all lee heard before losing consciousness

After a While

"Hey look he is waking up"

Lee after waking up after 5 minutes of sleep which caused by a bat

He felt his face is little wet but he ignored it and sat on the couch he has was laying for a while

"I'm really sorry for that, I thought you were one of those or someone who meant harm to us"

He looked up and saw her standing there with her head slightly bowed

'Well someone bowing to someone to apologize that's rare in USA'

Even though he found this situation amusing he started to feel confused about this turn of events

"Who're you guys?"

Lee didn't understood much as there was a young women Infront of him apologizing and another same-aged girl who was bringing a glass of water with her

"Ah, You don't remember us, Did he lost his memory because me!, Oh no should we call a doctor"

"Calm down Sandra, Professor Lee I'm Clementine Marsh, Your student in University and same goes for her she Sandra my classmate, You might not remember us since we're not that good in History"

'Wh-What?? This is a big change? This Hot chick is the same one I found cute all my time when I played this game, she is Hot, and this Sandra she is supposed to be a walker and a babysitter for Clementine not her classmate, this is too much to adapt for me at this point'

As thoughts Rushed through Lee's mind he chose to calm himself and think about it later since staying quiet this long will convince them about him losing his memory

"Ahh-! Is that so, Sorry I don't remember you guys but my memory is intact, I think we didn't interact much"

"Yeah we pretty much sat in the corner for all classes"

Sandra who felt guilty about lee's condition felt a sense of relief after seeing him talk normally

Right after this they started throwing questions at each other which made Lee understand the changes

Clementine is a University student who is at her place with her best friend Sandra who In original is her Babysitter and much older than her Is right now the same aged 

Clementine's Parents are as originally left for Savannah and Since she was home alone she called her friend over for sleepover and they've been in this house together since tomorrow and saw first walker last night

Naturally they as adults and Lee's student's know about his Incident but they believe It wasn't his fault about this and also that state senator's family is trying their best to get him sued

After knowing about all this Information Lee walked out to the garden and looked towards the gate as on the road are supposed to be their ride but there was no-one 

'As I thought, In this time It hasn't been 5 days since apocalypse reached large scale, Instead it started to spread not that long ago'

Lee went inside and checked Clementine's telephone which didn't had any messages of her parents

Both girls seeing there Professor in deep thought and moving around felt uneasy

From last night they have been scared to death, Sandra has been trying to reach her Parents through telephone but failed, Lee through conversation found out that she doesn't live much far from here

After thinking for a while he walked towards both girls 

"Do you happen to have a bag with you"

Lee asked clementine as he planned to make a trip to neighbourhood and find resources as much as he can since this apocalypse has begun not long ago some people might not even got a chance to put up a fight with walker and lost their lives instantly

Lee planned to get as much as supplies he can 

"Yes I do, But you shouldn't go outside it's not safe professor"

Clementine who was taking a bag out of a nearby closet said as she knows the terror these walkers are creating outside

"Don't worry about me, And you two don't call me Professor, It's Lee alright, and also keep a eyes out on the road as much as you can take turns if you have to and don't leave this place I will get back here as soon as I can"

Lee wanted to get their trust and get friendly with them to use them efficiently and started walking towards fence to jump in the home next door

"Lee, Um.. Can you look for my Mother we live right across the road my house number is 23F it's not far, can you please check how she Is and get her here is possible"

Sandra who ran out of the house to catch Lee before he leave to make her request 

She had been here from yesterday she wanted to go home to see how her Mother is doing but she who after looking towards the surrounding felt that If she were to live this door Clementine being alone might die and going together to look for her mother Is also dangerous as there are Walkers right Infront of this house

If wouldn't have been come she would've went there alone after an Hour or something since she would Prioritize her mother over anything

"Oh Is she alone there"

"Yeah, But don't worry much my Mom Is strong she Is most likely their safe, So can y-you pleas-"

"Don't worry for anything I will see what I can do, Ok"

Lee who felt that this Is more on edge than Clementine at this point, he just put his arms around her which made her feel surprised for a second but she returned that hug with tears In her eyes

"Thank You So Much"

After a little while they got out of each other's embrace, Sandra showed her gratitude and went towards the house 

Clementine who on the glass door of her house looked at Lee

"Be safe out there"

As soon as she said that she went inside the house 

'Is she shy or something?' 

Lee chuckled at Clementine's behaviour

He put his hand In his pocket and took out his Baton, as soon as he did that he felt weird as he has A Baton, Handcuffs and Police Officer's Radio, Even after shoving this much In his pocket there wasn't a bulge in his pocket to be visible he didn't feel those Items in his pants, But after taking them out they are right where they suppose to

'No it's that this jeans is nice to hold stuff in it, Do I have some kind of a [Inventory] which storing my stuff?'

[A/N : Sorry for this chapter to be this late, I was busy with my exams which ended yesterday so I will be focusing on this.
