Chapter 28

Our protagonist Brendan is currently sitting on a bench, in a dilemma on what to do. Mightyena being his first caught Pokemon in his journey has stayed with the him and the team since the start of the journey till now is currently dissatisfied with constant training and just battling. It's species not being mainly for battle and mostly used for farms or defending houses don't like travelling and constant battle.

Brendan knowing this decides to have a chat with Mightyena, Brendan proceeding to tap a Pokeball creating a read beam.

"Mightyena?" It howls in a confused tone because he isn't battling anyone or eating with the others.

"Hey Mightyena, i know you aren't satisfied with the currently arrangements are with being a battle centric Pokemon." Brendan says in a calm tone

"Mightyena!" Mightyena hearing agrees shaking it's head. In training times with the others Mightyena starts to drift away from them not interacting with the others as it feels weak (The other Pokemon aren't being mean to it, it just feels a little envy and sadness being one of the first Pokemon caught but one of the weaker ones in the team).

"Im offering if you want I can trade you to farmers, they will take care of you and feed you by the price of protecting them and you will be able to get a mate as they have a female Mightyena." Mightyena hearing starts to think to itself. It doesn't like to battle much but if he gets traded he will still battle but with a more relaxed life style and with a mate.

Brendan seeing that Mightyena is still conflicted assures Mightyena. "The people I'm able to trade you to are an old couple, I assure you they are great people and are extremely kind." Mightyena hearing this makes its decisions and nods towards its trainer.

* * * 10 minutes later * * *

In the middle of a pathway on the way to a house can be seen a black haired young man and a Mightyena next to him.

The said two are currently walking towards the house. Making their way to the door, Brendan knocks of the door in a semi-loud way. Right after this foot steps can be heard approaching the door.

The door opening showing a woman that appears to be in her forties with black hair, brown eyes with a Mightyena next to her can be seen. "Hello young man can I help you?" The woman asks with a curious tone.

Brendan spacing out forgetting to introduce himself speaks. "Hello there, My name is Brendan!" He says in a friendly tone. "I'm here to trade my Mightyena as that what is says in the post."

The woman hearing this starts to introduce herself. "Hello trainer my name is Mary Wilkins, follow me." Brendan hearing this proceeds to follow her into her house.

While both of them are walking both Mightyena start to interact with each other. 'Thankfully they seem to like each other.' Brendan thinks to himself while walking next to Mary.

Arriving at the dining table Brendan sees a man sitting down with an Absol drinking coffee.

Pokemon: Absol (Blue)

Brendan seeing the Absol with his eyes stares at the Absol with his bulging eyes at the sight of a Blue talent Absol. With Talents being very rare it's extremely difficult to raise a Pokemon without multiple evolutions. Evolutions not only help the Pokemon with talent but increase their overall capabilities to fight or do other things.

Brendan's noticed that Pokemon without evolutions aren't that popular because of them being more potent and strong, so starting trainers don't try to get one because they aren't experienced trainers yet. By the time they get other Pokemon they don't want to raise another Pokemon from it original stages of strength. So having a talented no evolution Pokemon are extremely for gyms.

"Hello young man sit down, I've heard from my wife you're here to trade your Mightyena for my Absol?" Brendan hearing this nods

"Yes I'm currently here to trade Mightyena, as you know it's species isn't inclined to battle too often but are still strong Pokemon." Brendan says "Mightyena is a very strong Pokemon that's helped me win gym badges and has been with me since the start of my journey." Brendan says while shows off his gym badge count with his phone with his profile on it.

The man impressed with the number of badges this trainer has leads him to the trading machine (Trading machines are very easy to get you hand on as long as you have money. As this machine costs a pretty penny.)

The man seeing Brendan's confused state starts to explains how the trading machine works. "To trade your Pokemon you have to login into the right side of the machine as all personal owned trading machines are automatically login in by the owner in the left side." The man says. "Just put Mightyenas Pokeball in the little half circle to initiate the trade."

Brendan doing what the man explained proceeds to login and put Mightyena's Pokeball into the little half circle (Pokeballs are small unless your tap the white button to enlarge it to release the Pokemon in the Pokeball or catch a Pokemon).

Brendan confirming the trade with the Man for the Absol proceeds to say his goodbyes to Mightyena and keeps Absol in his Pokemon to introduce to the gang later.

Brendan now with an Absol starts walking to the next gym that's very far from his location. What awaits him on his journey to the gym, no one knows (same).
