"This is where you're from, Ning?" Saphandra asked as she looked at the tall buildings and massive roads. 

She was curious about the metal vehicles swishing past her on the road while Ning and the others walked on the sideway.

"I am? No, I was. I don't know. My life here was short-lived and I died here before being reborn on the planet Kumia. As for whether you call that my home or this one, you can choose on your own, I suppose," Ning said.

"They say your home is where your heart is," Black Halo said from the side. "Where does your heart lie, senior?" 

"My heart?" Ning paused. The obvious answer was Ely, but then he couldn't toss away the memories of his parents just like that.

"It's complicated," he said and didn't elaborate. Instead, he put on a happy face and found a place. "Hey, you guys wanna eat something? I remember seeing ads for burgers and fries long ago. It's supposed to be amazing."
