"What is life like after being reincarnated into another world for me? No memories of the past, naur do I know where I came from or how I came to be dead. I simply was reincarnated into a world I was not mean't to be in, some may refer to me as an Anomaly. Some may believe that life as a reincarnated is like a ray of sunshine but that only lasts for a brief moment before it fades away. Not everyone is blessed with great fortune or extraordinary abilities from the start. Some people may be born into difficult circumstances and have to struggle to make ends meet. I had no magical power when I was born, in a world where it was common, so I was granted a special skill called Negation. This ability is what has kept me alive, as it can cancel out any magical attack. I have encountered people who were close to me, only to witness their eventual demise right before my eyes. I have endured the loss of so many people that it has caused me to become emotionally disconnected. What is the purpose of forming relationships if the person is destined to die anyway? The road I go is too dangerous for any weak person both physically and mentally to ally with. That is the harsh reality of Reincarnating for me. But I still do not lose hope. No matter how many times I question myself, I will prevail. There must be a reason to why I was sent here and I must find out. Doesn't matter how many times I fall or how many circumstances I've endured pain like no other. Atleast during those times I had peacefull times aswell with both friends and family, so watch out world. I, Tomo Yutura, am determined to survive until the end."

Chapter 14 Part II

I took a step back, my eyes widening in shock, "It can rebuild itself?!" I asked. The knight's expression changed to one of seriousness as he tightened his grip on the sword, "It would seem so."

The creature charged at me with fury when I was unprepared, but the knight moved quickly to protect me, raising his sword to ward off the attack.

*BANG*

The creature's fist struck the sword of the knight, causing him to be thrust back a few metres and his feet to sink into the ground. "Argh, did it get more powerful?" the knight muttered as he tried to hold his sword in place.

The knight was clearly having difficulty maintaining his stance. He was making heavy noises with each breath and his body was trembling from the intense power of the creature, it was astonishing that he was able to sustain the position for so long.

I raced to the monster, brandishing my katana, in an attempt to aid the knight. "As you predicted, I can't take it down by myself!", I shouted as I sprinted to the creature, my eyes narrowing in determination.

I swung my katana and tried to cut the creature's arms off, but much to my astonishment the sword bounced back and no harm was done. "What the--?" I said, stunned. "Did its defense increase?" I couldn't understand why the katana failed to do the same damage as before.

The knight shouted loudly in effort as he just about managed to withstand the power of the creature's punch and knock it to the ground, causing a massive thud when it hit.

I glanced at the knight and remarked to myself, "He's certainly got some incredible strength." In the next moment, I felt a hard, forceful punch at my side that sent me hurtling into a nearby building.

After I crashed through the walls of the building, I felt excruciating agony all over my body, especially in my left arm which had been struck. I glanced at my arm to find it was contorted and bent in many directions. "My arm is broken!" I shouted.

Despite the intense agony, my body was in such a state of shock and hurry that the pain was almost blocked out. I grimaced in disappointment as I gazed upon my broken arm,"It appears that I have lost," I muttered.

Through all of my encounters in battle, even when I was close to death, I never gave up. Every time I was at the brink of death, I managed to get back on my feet and overcome any obstacle. However, I found myself defeated by the most unlikely creature that strolled into town. I couldn't help but think to myself, "Am I just not meant to fight? I'm so unlucky." as I let out a small chuckle.

I glanced back at the knight, and it seemed like the creature which had punched me had quickly recovered from the harm the knight had done. As I was lying in the building, I could observe the knight and the creature still fighting, and it seemed like the knight was gradually being overpowered.

The knight defended himself against the creature's attacks until it became too powerful. He then prepared for his final strike, gathering all of his strength and power. "Take this!" he yelled as he swung his sword with all of his might.

*BOOM*

The knight's sword clashed with the creature, causing the stone creature to break into small pieces of stone and debris. Despite the agonizing distress the knight was in, he held his position and shouted with conviction: "Let it be known that those who seek to harm my home will be met with retribution!"

I peered off into the distance away from the knight and noticed a hundreds of men, woman or children, all either wounded or deceased, sprawled on the ground. "Did the creature do this to them?" I said in an almost inaudible voice. "The knight must be so brave to have tried to shield them," I whispered awestruck as I gazed at him.

Suddenly, my eyes widened and the knight's sword dropped in shock as the ground beneath us started to tremble again.

The creature had regenerated again from the pebbles and fragments the knight had caused. I watched in amazement and shock as the knight yelled, readying himself for another fight. "Is there no way to put an end to this monster?" He asked, barely able to move his sword.

(Fun Fact! It's not uncommon to see children battling monsters and even standing up to grown men in this world. Consequently, Tomo's choice to face danger head-on is not something that many people question. However, his remarkable physical strength for someone of his age is certainly remarkable.)
