Chapter 20 Class-Time

As Amane, Luo Yan, and Kiana arrived at the classroom, many students gazed at them, wondering who they were. Amane's handsome looks and Luo Yan's and Kiana's beauty made it impossible for people not to know them.

"I hope the teacher wouldn't ask us to introduce ourselves," Amane murmured. For him, introductions were a waste of time. While there might be rare occurrences where some people found having similar interests or hobbies, what about those who had normal hobbies that were considered ordinary but despised by others?

The greatest example is otaku culture in Japan and other countries. It's influenced by cultural norms and historical context. In Japan, the term "otaku" had a negative impact and used to describe individuals with extreme and obsessive interests. The media portrayed otaku as socially awkward and isolated from mainstream society.

On the other hand, in other countries, Japanese pop culture, including anime and manga, has gained immense popularity. These hobbies are often celebrated and enjoyed by a large audience. As a result, otaku culture is seen more positively in many other parts of the world.

Amane was brought back to reality when Kiana stood up and moved her seat next to him. She sat down and hugged his arms. "Hehehe, Amane smells," Kiana whispered as she continued hugging him.

"TSK!" The boys in the classroom looked at Amane with pure jealousy and anger because a beautiful and cute girl was hugging his arms and using his shoulder as a pillow.

It didn't take long until the teacher arrived, and it was Gu Yuena, holding her laptop and papers.

"So beautiful," the girls said at the same time. Everyone in the classroom was amazed by Gu Yuena's beauty and instantly attracted to her.

"My name is Gu Yuena. I'm a new teacher here and will be your advisor from today until the day you graduate," Gu Yuena introduced herself. "If you have any questions, feel free to raise your hands."

"Sensei!" A girl raised her hand, and Gu Yuena nodded at her. "Are you married?" The girl asked, noticing a ring on her finger.

The students in the classroom immediately perked up their ears and listened carefully. "I shouldn't answer a personal question. But I will answer your question because it's pretty much obvious, and yes, I'm married," Gu Yuena replied, nodding at the other students who raised their hands.

"Sensei, how old are you this year?" a female student asked, curious about Gu Yuena's age.

"I'm 35," Gu Yuena answered. Amane thought to himself, 'Lies, she's a million years old,' earning a glare from Gu Yuena, which made him giggle.

"Sensei, do you have a daughter or son? If yes, how old are they?" a male student asked. All the students looked at their fellow classmate with pure shock and disbelief.

"Yes, I have seven children, two of them are girls, and the other five are boys," Gu Yuena answered. "They are around the ages of 10, 7, 5, 4, and 2. And this is the last warning: if you ask more personal questions, we will have to stop this question and answer session."

Many students were shocked by Gu Yuena's statements, including Luo Yan and Kiana. The two looked at Amane, wondering if what she said is true.

"She's talking about her pets that turned into humans. When a spirit monster reaches the age of 100,000 years old, they can transform into humans but lose their beast strength, becoming like infants. Four of us, with my parents' help, took care of them as if they are our children. After all, in the future, we plan to have our own kids," Amane explained to Kiana and Luo Yan. "Even though they still remember their lives as spirit beasts."

"I would like to meet them," Kiana said, wondering if they are cute or not.

"I'm also interested," Luo Yan added, curious about the abilities they gained when they transformed into humans.

As the class continued, Amane took the opportunity to learn a cultivation technique from Gu Yuena to strengthen his "Martial Spirit: Imaginary Tree."

"Dear, what are you doing? Why does your level keep getting higher?" Kiana asked, wondering how he kept getting stronger.

"Level?" Amane asked, puzzled by what she meant. "Remember the first skill I got from the beginners box," Kiana answered in a whisper.

"AH, I forgot about that. Then what is my level?" Amane asked curiously.

"Hmm." Kiana looked at the top of Amane's head, as if she was counting something.

[It's 4 Million] Athena said to Kiana inside her head. [Sigh]

"Did you just sigh, Athena?" Kiana asked, wondering why she heard a sigh.

[You're imagining it]

"Okay, your level is 4 Million, now it's 7 Million," Kiana answered Amane's question.

"And what about your level?" Amane asked.

"It's 34,000 without full power, but in my full power, it's around 65 Million," Kiana replied. Then she looked at Luo Yan, who was listening to their conversation, and said, "Yours is 878,000."

Luo Yan smiled and nodded her head.

"What about mine, Kiana? What is my level?" Gu Yuena asked as she appeared next to her.

"Oh, it's about 158 Million," Kiana answered and suddenly sweat dropped when she noticed that Gu Yuena was glaring at her.

"Listen carefully, Miss Kiana," Gu Yuena said as she flicked Kiana's forehead.

"At this rate, I would turn into an idiot. Everyone is flicking my forehead," Kiana murmured as she rubbed her forehead.
