Chapter 15 Kingdom of Hinomori

Well, who wouldn't want a cute girl like Kiana as a wife? Probably an idiot like those harem MCs. I thought while sitting on a wooden chair and signing papers about everything that had been happening within my kingdom.

"I swear, I'll add a voting system and step down from this position." I muttered as I signed the never-ending documents.

"My King! The Tower Owner of White and Black has started it again!" my secretary exclaimed as she panted for air.

What she meant by that was Chisato's pets Shiro and Amou's pet Kuro were fighting again. The way Chisato and Amou are close to each other is the exact opposite of how their pets interact. Now that I think about it, I just realized that I'm such a busy person.

My second secretary informed me, "I just received a report that Queen Chisato and Queen Kirukiru(Amou) have stopped the two from fighting."

I decided to have two secretary thank to the mountains of works. After all, I'm responsible for managing finance, the military, defense force, agriculture, and other aspects of the Kingdom. Also i have the authority and responsibility to oversee the Kingdom financial matters, ensuring budget allocation, revenue management, and economic stability. As for the names of my two sweet secretaries, they are Die Ba and Cai Lin. I was surprised when I discovered that Lamia existed and that they were seeking refuge from a dragon attacking their nest; it was just a coincidence that I accidentally saved them when I was digging in the mountains.

"Do you want to go to Britain?" I asked as I glanced at her.

"A date, I see." Chisato said as she giggled. "You smell like a girl who's the one."

I answered, "A new one."

"I see, I would love to meet her," Chisato excitedly said, hugging me around the neck and riding on my back.

"So what now?" Chisato asked looking at the bunch of people surrounding the a sword embedded into a stone.

"I'm gonna go in the line do you want to pull that too?" Amane asked, pointing at the sword embedded into the stone.

"Don't mind if I do~" Chisato said as she got in front of Amane. "Ladies first."

"As you wish, my lady~" Amane replied with a playful smile.

The two looked at each other and giggled. The people waiting in line looked at them with jealousy but didn't say anything.

"Is the two of you a lovers?" a blond-haired girl, similar to Chisato haired, asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Chisato and Amane glanced at each other and chuckled at the question. "We're lovers," Chisato replied, her cheeks slightly flushed.

The blond-haired girl nodded, she seems satisfied with the answer. "You both look so cute together," she commented with a smile and introduce herself. "I'm Altria, nice to meet you,"

"Fujimiya Amane, from Hinomori," Amane said, greeting her using his noble persona. "Thank you for the compliment, and you look cute too," he added with a smile.

"Fujimiya Chisato, from Hinomori," Chisato said. Chisato suddenly touched her hair. "Wow~ your hair is so beautiful despite being in this era,"

"Hehehe," Altria scratched her head in embarrassment upon hearing Amane's compliment. "Wait, in this era? What do you mean by that?" she asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"Nothing, nothing," Chisato immediately dismissed her question. "Did you come by yourself?"

"Yeah," Altria nodded her head. "My friends came here first, and they didn't tell me anything about it. That's why I don't have a choice but to come by myself."

"Maybe they are shy because of your beauty," Amane said with a playful tone, but those words made Altria flustered. She looked away in embarrassment, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

"My, you're weak to compliments," he teased with a giggle, enjoying her reaction. Chisato joined in the teasing, giving Altria a knowing look and a mischievous grin.

"Don't tell me you have a crush on Amane," Chisato asked, covering her mouth with a teasing grin.

"No," Altria dismissed. "It's just that, it's embarrassing getting compliments from a handsome man." She chuckled, trying to hide her flustered feelings.

"I see, so you have a crush on me. I'm sorry, but I already have a fiancée," Chisato teased as she showed her ring finger with a ring on it.

"Wait, no," Altria denied it, but Chisato continued teasing her. "Chisato, please stop," she pleaded, blushing in embarrassment.

"Wooh, aren't you a cute one~" Amane said with a playful grin, patting her head gently, which only made Altria blush even more.
