Tavern

I get startled awake by the feeling of something chewing on my ear

I open my eyes and see the thing of my nightmares on my ear trying to eat some of it

A RAT FOR GOD SAKE

A RAT!!!!!

I try and scream but all that come out if a weird sounding loud bark

I quickly use my claws and kill it before it can run away

But then I run over to hunter who was once asleep but now awake and jump on his stomach use my paws to shake his head hysterically

IM GONNA GET RABIES!!!!!!

IM GONNA DIE !!!!!

HUNTER SAVE ME!!!

I never stopped shaking his head throughout the whole breakdown

A few seconds later hunter picks me up to stop me from shaking his head

But my limbs are still pawing away at air like I'm trying to run

At first he looks really confused and he only gets it confused when he sees blood dripping from my ear dripping onto my face and surrounding fur

He stares at me for a moment then hugs me

When I get hugged I freeze it's like my whole body went stiff and I could no longer move

I only relaxed when he said

"Everything gonna be fine..."

WELL YA BUT A RAT TRIED EATING MY EAR!!

after a few moments he picks me up and only then do I realize that it's still dark and all the knights are still at the tavern

Hunter sits me down and starts doing something to my ear but I'm not paying attention cause I'm staring at the boy who is somehow still asleep

I only come back when Hunter says he's done

And I see my little ear wrapped up in cloth

Dear god help me if I see one more rat mouse thing in my room I will run from this place while screaming like a little girl

I AM NOT A RAT PERSON

Okay, okay I need a drink

I need to not be mentally stable to be able to sleep in this room again

So!

LET'S GO TO THE TAVERN!!

Wait... Can dogs even get drunk?

Eh you can't know till you try hehehe...

With that in mind I leave a confused Hunter and sleeping child in that disgusting inn and jump out the side window

Now the even better question how do I find the tavern... never mind I just have to find the place that's the most alive at night and has the most drunk men coming out and then Bam you'll be there

As I walk around it doesn't take long before I find the tavern

But there's more people then I expected

Like A LOT MORE

At first everyone looked at me with many confused, scared, and shocked eyes but once I found the knights and sat by them they all looked away

I was sitting on the floor next to their table and I rubbed my head against one of the guys legs so he would know I'm here

At first they were confused but sense most of them weren't in their right minds they didn't care

After a while I started stealing their drinks

And oh lord that was a bad idea after two drinks of what I believe to be ale or something but I don't really know because fifteen minutes later it all comes back up but by that time I'm already outside

One of the bar tenders is out front standing next to me leaning against the wall looking at me like I was the funniest thing he's seen in a while cause after a few seconds he starts laughing to no end

After vomiting almost everything I've eaten in the past few days somehow I still have the energy to glare at him

"Hahaha, I never thought I'd see the day when even wolves drank their guts away hahaha" he just never stopped laughing

When he did finally stop laughing he just smile and said "Liquor might not solve all your problems but it's worth a shot... get it it's worth a Shot "

I just stared at him

I get the joke but... why

why do you do this

I just slowly back away into the tavern

And then run back to our table
