normal day / not normal evening

It was a normal day at work. Together with my coworkers we conducted some experiments and were now busy writing down all our new findings. We were currently working at a powder which should clear water. The idea is that if you mix our powder into a bucket of water de powder will start "stick" on the pollutants in the water and sink to the bottom of the bucket. After 5 minutes the water should be drinkable.

And that was the problem. Today we conducted 120 test but none of them worked the way we wanted it to. "Hey Yong what happened in the 10th experiment after 30 minutes?" one of my coworker asked. "Nothing happened, sadly" I answered. He asked me stuff like this a hundret times today. Not because he wan an idiot or didn't know what he was doing but because of another problem.

The problem was that I was in charge of documenting all the results and observations and my handwriting was absolutely terrible. I could read it but others had a hard time reading it. One of my coworkers once said. "Your handwriting is safer than the best encryption"

Three hours later our team of five was done with writing down everything and writing a report. "Good job everyone" I said and turned off the ligts. Everyone left and I locked the door to the lab. I slowly walked through the halls of the building thinking about todays results as I started to hear the sound of lights beeing turned off. "Oh shit I have to hurry bevore they close steel roller shutter and I can't leave the building anymore. I don't want to be stuck in here"

I ran throug the building and made it out. A few seconds after I was in the fresh air the squeaky noise of the steel roller shutter closing itself could be heared. I exhaled. "just in time".

I pulled back my sleeve so that I could look at my watch but... "Uh.. I forgot my watch in the locker room. Now I have to wait untill monday to get it back" I was frustrated but after I started looking at my mobile phone I forgot that I was frustrated a few minutes ago. While looking at my phone googling about some chemical compounds and thinking about our project I walked on my way home.

In the background my favourite song played. It wasn't really that loud because it shouldn't distract me from may chemical compounds and the street but I still turned it on because I felt a lot safer with some music. I was too focused on my phone and so I went into the wrong ally but I didn't really notice until soebody started speaking to me.

"If you don't want to have a bullet between your eyes drop your phone now" The voice said. I looked up without moving my head and saw a gun pointed directly at me so I dropped my phone and slowly raised my arms. The person with the gun wore black shoes, black jeans, a black hoodie, a cap and a black FFP2-Mask. "In which poket are you keeping your money the person said." I answered with a trembling voice: "In my left inner pocket". The robber commandet: "Then take it out slowly and drop it besides your phone. "

I did as I was told. Slowly I reached into my pocket pulled out my wallet and dropped it on the floor. After that I raised my arm I used for getting the wallet back up in the air. "Well done" the robber said. I stared directly at him trying to remember some of his facial features. That was the moment when the left strap of his mask snapped and the mask fell of. Now I was able to see his full face and I had to find out that the robber was actually a woman. "Shit... shit... shit.." the woman cursed and grabbed a new mask out of her pocket and put it on.

After that she turned back to me and saw me staring directly into her face. She said something but the only thing i heard was a bang and shortly after I felt extreme pain at the side of my head. After that i lost consciousness.
