THE PROTAGONIST' WRATH?!

Nine years before

I am so happy! I am Lilian Dahlia. In spite of all the hardships, I get to see and experience the best things in life. Why not? It 's because after all I am the protagonist! The protagonist who is the saintess and gets to save the entire Yutia kingdom. I also am happy because I can get to live the best life ever in the royal palace ! The only thing necessary to do is that to enter that palace academy.

"Daddy! Did you do that for me?" I asked my father the Baron Dahlia of the Dahlia estate.

"Yes, daughter I did but unfortunately since you do not belong to the aristocratic blood they might not accept you."

I was disappointed. What did he do?

"What did you do daddy?"

He let out a deep sigh.

"Well, I have done this- the lucky chance option for entering the academy and the results are that you have been selected to study there."

I am so happy! Even though I was an adopted child, my daddy does so much for me.

"Thank you daddy! You are the best!"

I thanked him. Now, this thing will happen immediately the way it should happen!

"Did something happen?" Eric asked Adrian after the school was over. We were going back to our dorm rooms which were located near the palace in the form of a big, magnificent building made under special directions given by the queen.

"Huh, why?" Adrian gasped. Obviously, he was thinking something else. "No, nothing"

"You are obviously lying blondie." Eric said. I had to laugh at his joke. Blondie... Well, I wanted to call Adrian blondie too which I recited multiple times in my head.

"Okay, you see that the new student says that Annesophia has Kalubris growing inside her soul." he revealed. First of all, Kalubris only grew when Annesophia was full of hate and distrust towards the protagonist and the people who had betrayed her, but logically since now I practically am not hated by anyone nor even entered in Lilian's way so I don't think that the seed of despair and the light of hope will be inside me.

"That's a lie!" Cecile said taking my side. "Lady Annesophia is the best friend I ever know in my life!"

Aw, thanks Cecile you really are a true friend.

"I don't believe it too"

We reached our dorm rooms. I and Cecile were in the same room. The queen really did care about socializing so no separate rooms. Yuki was there with me. Mom cares about me too much.

Cecile asked me worriedly, "Lady Annesophia, do you think that the newcomer is telling the truth? Is Kalubris really inside you?" There are two things- Either I messed up with the game or Lilian is also... no, no that can't be real. I am just imagining things.

"Have you ever seen me sad?" I asked placing myself on the bed.

"No" she replied.

"So, there's no way that the thing can grow inside my soul. The legends say that Kalubris was sealed by the long time saintess in a forbidden region and the seed of that evil deity can grow inside those who are full of anger, sadness and jealousy." I explained remembering each and every line of the description of Kalubris as it was given in the game.

"I understand. And that means that you will not become something dangerous, right Lady Annesophia?" Cecile asked.

"Yes, I won't become anything" I replied and we two shared a friendship hug. Aw, Cecile really was cute and she became cuter when she started to open to all of us.

"Now let's go and have our dinner", I suggested and we went down to the hall where dinner was being served. The dinner served looked very delicious—it consisted of rice, Yutian cheese and meat balls, curry, fish candies dipped in honey. This time, Cecile too ate like a glutton followed by me. As for Eric, he was still maintaining his decent status. But Adrian was nowhere to be seen. Why? There were no events nor any mini-games scene now in the game. What in the world was happening? I wonder.

I feel a sharp, pain in my back as if something had pierced me through... And then I fell down, feeling dizzy. Eric and Cecile look at me in horror, blank and dizzy, is everything around.

I hear a cycle of words, echoing in my head,

"Lady Annesophia are you okay?"

"Lady Annesophia! What happened to you?"

And lastly some of the words which sounded like Adrian-

"You deserve to die after what you did to Lilian."

And everything around me turned black...
