Chapter 103 - Collapse (3)

Everyone turned and looked at Jaune and his face was pale white. They were standing in front of the army of Grimm. 37 Creeps and 90 Beowolves, 4 Alpha Beowolves, 20 Boarbatusk, 4 Ursa, and 8 Alpha Creeps stood in front of them.

Yang was staring a hole into Jaune punching her hand while looking at him. Coco looked at Shallot expecting for him to do something about the Grimm like last time when it was a large number.

Shallot: "This one is all on you all. If you all can't handle it, your generous senior will deal with it."

Coco: "We're the seniors!"

Shallot looked at the group of Grimm then back at Coco.

Shallot: "Well, I guess that you can handle the Grimm here."

Shallot started floating while in a cross-legged sitting position. He started using his spatial crush to apply pressure on himself until he felt that he could barely move. He found out the best way to use it is by setting a center point on his body and have the space push towards that part.

He could increase the amount on himself without heavily affecting the area unlike when he pushes downward mimicking gravity. He was watching the horde that was standing in front of them knowing that they will struggle a little with it except Blake.

He knows that Blake has gotten lazier the more she trains recently. The 37 Creeps were the first ones to rush forward and the wave of Grimm made Jaune sweat heavily seeing the large number of them.

Behind the Creeps were the 8 Alpha Creeps moving behind them. The Alpha Creeps managed to get ahead of them and Creeps and were spread out. Behind each one was 3 Creeps and rushed forward.

Jaune had his sword and shield ready while Nora was next to him with her hammer out. Ren was on the side of Nora with his blades and flipped them and had already started firing.

Pyrrha was standing there prepared. Her aura was being shown to everyone. She had both of her hands slowly lifting on her side raising towards the sky.

The closer her hands got to the sky the more the ground started to shake. Underneath everyone, they could feel the ground shaking and Pyrrha was starting to sweat. The ground started cracking and the metal doors that were there were shaking.

She made an X motion with her hands and slammed her hands into the ground making the gates collapse onto the moving wave of Creep Grimm crushing them.

Shallot was watching and smiled thinking that was a smart idea. Using the environment as your weapon was the best way to deal with a large number of enemies when you can't outright overpower them.

Coco had her mouth wide open at that and her shades slide down onto the bridge of her nose. Yatsuhashi only scrunched his eyebrows seeing that, while Fox smiled at what he was seeing thinking that it was a great move but he was also trying to think of ways to counter that for the tournament.

The rest of the Grimms rushed forward seeing that the first wave was dealt with far easier than they expected. The 90 Beowolves, 4 Alpha Beowolves, 20 Boarbatusk, and 4 Ursa came rushing towards them.

The sound of stampeding Grimm had Jaunes legs shaking while Pyrrha was trying to get her breath so that she could prepare for the Grimm coming towards her.

Weiss started setting glyphs around the field as traps and movement boost for afterward. Ruby was smoothly spreading the ki around her body so that she can get a boost when she gets ready to attack. Blake was crouched down and Shallot could feel that her ki was rising. Yang tapped her gauntlets together preparing for the Grimm while also encasing her body with ki to increase her strength.

Fox had his weapons ready and was pulling some items from a satchel from his side that looked like grenades. Yatsuhashi had his sword slung over his shoulder with a smile on his face ready as soon as the Grimm were prepared.

The Grimm was getting closer and closer and as soon as they were within 20 meters everyone rushed towards the group of Grimm. Yatsuhashi started with a wide horizontal swing cutting through the first 3 Beowulf Grimms in front of him.

Another Beowolf tried to blindside him but the strike was parried by Fox using his bladed gauntlets and then sent a flurry of slashes to cut into the ones nearby. He sent one flying back sending his aura into one launching it back into the other Beowolves making some of the rushing ones fall over them.

Both of them started Slowly backing backward and as soon as they heard a whirring sound they jumped out of the way giving Coco with her Gianduja. The minigun was spinning and spitting bullets 100 bullets per sec. She was turning the Grimm in front of her path into swiss chess. After a minute of firing, she was empty and needed to reload.

Velvet wanted to put what she learned to practice. She activated her semblance and Anisedora was pulled out. It started changing shape taking the shape of Shallot scythe and then turned into the bow formation.

Velvet pointed her weapon towards the sky copying Shallot's move from the city and let loose a large burst of ki towards the sky that split and flew down towards the Grimm. The blast could only cover so much of the area and only took out 20 of them. Her attack wasn't as potent as Shallot's attack.

The Grimm was still coming with 45 Beowolves being taken down in the previous clash. Some of the Beowolves and Boarbatusk ran over Weiss's glyphs and were launched into the air. Ruby turned her Crescent Rose into sniper mode and started shooting them out of the air.

Weiss could see an Alpha Beowulf rushing using the other Grimm as shields. She used a glyph to enhance her speed shooting towards some of the glyphs she left to use for the type of scenario.

Weiss: "Yang!!! Overcharge!!!"

Yang: "On it."

Yang was right behind Yang and stood on Weiss's glyph and was towards another glyph. Once they made it to the next glyph they shot towards two different glyphs. Weiss shot towards a glyph towards the right side of the Grimm while Yang headed for the left side of the Grimm.

Yang stepped on another Glyph and shot towards the middle of the pack of Grimm sending out a flurry of shotgun punches sending Grimm flying in the air the Ruby would shoot along with Pyrrha while she was getting her breath back. Weiss also rushed towards the middle sending out multiple stabs killing the Grimm in her way.

She was slowing down some and would place more glyphs as she was moving to gain more and more speed. Nora ran towards the front left of the horde jumping into the air with lightning surrounding her.

Nora: "Lightning Bomb!!!!"

Nora came smashing down with her hammer with a large surge of lightning expanding in a bubble going outward shocking and sending the Grimm flying into the air. They were shot down if they were still alive by Ruby and Pyrrha.

Jaune was dealing with the stragglers that were separated and attacked them when they were surrounded by the others. Shallot was slowly moving while using this time to still train while paying attention in case he's needed.

The 3 Ursa rushed toward Jaune seeing that he was by himself and surrounded him on all sides. Jaune turned to attack that one but was blindsided by another one. Jaune regained his balance and had his shield up for any other attacks.

Blake had concentrated ki around her legs and dashed over towards Jaune. To everyone but Jaune, it seemed as if she disappeared.
