Raiyen's Past

And it would be the turning point for the Time Mage as both a person and a Mage. That day was supposed to be happy; Raiyen had finally got enough food to make lunch, a hearty meal of meats that he hadn't tasted for years. But those feelings wouldn't last as Raiyen opened the door.

The scene was so horrific that Raiyen dropped all his food, breaking down as he ran towards his dismembered foster parents' bodies, hugging them tightly. Sure, they may not be the best, but they were the only ones who cared for the abandoned baby from the dump. But now...

Raiyen felt something break within his psyche as he slowly stood up and wiped his tears. The kid saw a bunch of men around the kitchen, searching for foodstuffs. Was this retribution for all the times that he had stolen for others? But he had never hurt anyone while doing so...

Right? So... Why? Why? WHY?! Raiyen felt anger consuming him as he performed his first Glitch. During that point, Raiyen had no control over where he would end up, but because his mind was so fixated on harming those who caused him grief, his powers mapped everything out.

First, Raiyen went for the kitchen knife. Last, Raiyen vanished from the spot and appeared at different necks of the thieves, effectively killing them in under a Tick. It was too fast for them to comprehend, and the last thing they saw was a little boy, teeming with blue spark, holding a knife.

But it wasn't enough for him... No, Raiyen had decided that he had enough of people trampling against him and sought to hate the one that gave birth to him. Raiyen hated everything and everyone in sight. Thus, the world became grey with only a splash of red for blood.

The first thing the kid did next was going to sleep. The next day, Raiyen made a meal for himself with the meats from the previous day and buried the bodies of his beloved foster parents. Then, he would set off on a killing spree to all Universes with Earth.

The TIme Mage knew about Time Frames as he saw the world differently, as a whole reel of cinematic tapes. At first, he tried with small Tocks in his Time, going back a day or two before jumping further. Once he had the confidence, Raiyen made the first kill as Jack the Ripper.

The prostitute screamed her lungs out, but no help arrived as such for the fate of the poor in the dark of the night. Eventually, Raiyen gained the title of the Whitechapel Murderer from the people who were after him. But alas, how could Scotland Yard attempt to catch a Time Mage?

The reason behind hunting prostitutes remained a mystery to the public, but Raiyen knew what he was doing. The Time Mage wanted to find his mother, who he had learned was a prostitute, and that's why she threw him away because brothels aren't allowed to have pregnant women.

Once he was done in his world, Raiyen ventured off to other worlds after learning Time Magecraft from a fellow Time Mage named Sutcliff. But unfortunately, his first name was never known to him. Afterward, Raiyen became the Leather Apron for every Universe with this murderer.

"Making me relive this period... Raijin, you've got some nerve to show me my past when no one is looking... Never thought I would meet someone so stupid enough to make my brain commit suicide..." sighed Raiyen, walking past the scene and towards the next moment.

The TIme Mage now couldn't be bothered with such small trifles. Back then, it was a massive issue for little Raiyen, who knew nothing about the world and how beautiful it was. Yes... No doubt, this is a tale of a boy learning that the world isn't as cruel as he would've thought.

No, the world is as balanced as it should be... There are good and bad people, crazy and sane. Nothing is fair, and it's okay. Not everyone is good, and it's okay. They sought to protect their world and defend it by hook or crook... Isn't that a choice and act worth a thousand praises?

And then... When the fun died, Raiyen found Sutcliff in disarray and anger, in a Universe far away from home. Without any explanation, Sutcliff lunged toward Raiyen, initiating a battle of Time Magecraft and the point where Raiyen learned about his final Element; Nature.

Using the weather around him to his advantage, Raiyen pulled off his first offensive spell, Radiant Storm, by using the gathering clouds to converge to his position and strike lightning bolts to subdue Sutcliff. Unfortunately, though, it did go out of control and hit a nearby Mage.
