43 Conclusion( Part 1/2)

Abel opened his eyes and saw Robin watching over him worriedly. Abel spoke with a pained voice.

'' Hehe, İt seems my plan has worked. Finally!''

Robin sighed as he saw Abel's mood.

'' You nearly died. Everyone was worried. İt has been 10 days...''

' 10 days?' Abel looked at her stunned.

'' Newspaper!'' Abel demanded immediately. Robin sighed as she looked at Abel and gave him a newspaper with a resigned smile. Even though she still couldn't understand Abel, he managed to achieve a feat that she thought was impossible. İt seemed like her gamble paid off. Abel carefully read the newspaper and frowned when he read the news.

' The mayor of Water 7, the boss of Galley-La company was forced to commit suicide due to an infamous criminal named Franky. Fortunately the mayor is still alive and being kept safe by the government. İf you see this criminal, please inform the authorities.

Abel was shocked by this reveal. Not only Franky already became a wanted criminal his first bounty was already this high. Abel obviously didn't believe the news a bit. Government was obviously trying to influence the population and shifting the blame to Franky. Abel sighed and read other news.

' Dark Moon took down the rumored warlord candidate Crocodile after exposing his crimes. Government declared that they never considered Crocodile for the warlord position and said it was all rumors made up by people that want to sully the government's reputation. Will Dark Moon receive an invitation? İt is remained to be seen. Dark Moon is an adventuring group that mainly hunts pirates. They doesn't seem to have any crime history and has a former prince as their member. Here are some information about it's current members...'

Abel read a bit and saw everyone's basic information was collected and revealed to the world already. The one who catched the most attention was Cavendish since his background was extraordinary. People was of course most curious about Abel but he never appeared without his mask on so no one had any clear information about him and only rumours.

10 minutes later all of Dark Moon gathered in Abel's room. Only weird thing was that there were two Abel's in the room. Abel smiled at himself and praised him.

'' You did well!''

Abel smiled him back.

'' Of course! I did my part in the name of friendship! Now it is your turn...''

Abel laughed happily and gave Abel a ton of money.

'' You can go. This money is also yours. But don't use my face again. Or else...''

Abel shivered and turned into Mr.2 again.

'' Don't joke around! I won't use your face again. I am leaving!''

The thing Abel carried in his huge pouch was actually Mr.2. Abel just took him to farm some relationships in his free time but when he saw the situation was bad he formulated a crazy plan. He would kidnap Robin with a fake persona while Mr.2 and his crew would scam the cipher pole after they escape. As long as all members of Dark Moon was at another location at desert they wouldn't suspect them.

Mr.2 who pretended to be Abel for the past 10 days left telling Abel that he has to meet with someone. He gave Abel's mask back and left hurriedly. At that time Vivi entered the room and ran beside the bed with red eyes.

'' How did you became like this?''

'' I fell from the stairs.''

''LİAR!'' Vivi was very furious but didn't want to lash out on Abel who was very injured.

'' You missed the snow. This was the first time it snowed in the history of Alabasta. İt was so beautiful...'' Vivi started telling about the sight she saw from the castle.

Abel laughed.

'' Maybe it will snow more here in the future. Who knows?''

Vivi looked at him doubtfully.

'' Can that really happen?''

'' Since it happened once it can obviously happen again. Nothing is impossible! Also snow is not that rare actually. There are many islands covered with snow. There are even talking raindeers and hiking bears there-

'' You are lying again!'' Vivi stomped her foot to the ground at Abel's nonsense. Abel sighed as he ignored Vivi.

'' Girl, you just don't know the world! I will prove you wrong later!''

Abel turned to Cavendish and saw the ring on his hand.

'' You managed to find it finally?''

'' No. İt was sent to the castle by Rena. She said her boss wants to talk with you. I don't know who that person is.''

Abel sighed. ' What is it this time?' Abel finally woke up after his 10 days of rest and wanted to go out telling his crew he had something to do. As Abel was leaving he saw the castle was in chaos as some important documents and information that was discussed in this year's reverie( it is at every 4 years. Timeskip is 8 years later so this is 2 reverie before the canon one.) was stolen from king Cobra's room. Some guards wanted to question him and Abel spoke with a painful voice.

'' Ah... I really don't know at all. İt is such a bad thing that a thief appeared. I will beat him up just like that evil Crocodile if I see him!''

Even though guards wanted to search Dark Moon, the royal family was very tolerant with them as they were recognized as heroes in the nation and it was just a formality. No one really suspected them. Thus Abel got away after bullshiting shortly. Abel wanted to sneak away to handle this mission but was met with thundering cheers.

'' ABEL!''

'' Prince of the sniper island!''

'' Rainbringer!''

Chaos happened as people saw Abel appeared with his usual mask and white hair. Abel of course washed his ridiculus pink hair away. People cheered as they saw other members from Dark Moon appear and wave at them. Abel was really shocked by how famous they were. Abel could leave thanks to Cavendish who took the stage and started to boast about himself to the crowd taking their attention away. Abel walked for an hour, passed the forest in the desert and finally arrived at the ponegliph. Abel tried to store it in his space ring and was met with disappointment as expected.

' Low grade space ring can't store ponegliphs.'

İn his original plan Abel would use this ponegliph to scam people and then leave after taking Robin and scouting some info from cipher pole with his spatial book. Of course things didn't go as expected. But Abel also expected his spatial ring to disappoint him even in his original plan. He never intended to give away the ponegliph.

' İf it can't be stored...'

Abel touched the ponegliph and muttered.

' Golden Finger'

' Calculating... Host wishes to use Golden Finger on a ponegliph. This will have consequences. İs host willing to continue?'

Abel frowned and then sighed. The location of the pluton was too important. Cp-9 will sooner or later find and copy this ponegliph. Even though he had Robin for now, Robin was not the only thing that can read ponegliphs. A survivor from three-eye tribe like puding or people related to Kozuki's main lineage might know about it. Abel didn't want to play around with an ancient weapon.

' Only copy should be in my hands.'

' Continue.'

Next second the ponegliph turned into gold.

' İmperial Flame'

And just like that a ponegliph that stood more than 800 years was destroyed by Abel. Abel sighed as he checked his notification.

' Golden Finger is on cooldown for 6 months due to using it on a ponegliph.'

Abel sighed deeply. ' Ah... At least I made a lot of money. İt should be enough for 6 months.'

Abel left to meet with his crew again and saw that they were mostly healed but still needed some time. The crew was in a comfortable silence as they thought about their growth and dreams. They were also happy about the outcome. Even though unexpected things happened their captain managed to turn things around in the end. Abel saw that there was a mark left behind by the cp leader on his chest. He turned to his crew and broke the confortable silence with a solemn tone.

'' This scar actually looks very cool. Was I more handsome before it or am I even more handsome now?''

His crew looked at him disdainfully as different comments came at Abel.

'' You never change!''

'' I am more handsome either way.''

'' Captain, you are the most handsome man alive! But I lost a lot of money at-''

'' BOSS is BOSS!''

Abel was dissatisfied by the replies and tried to prove his point and argued with them. Robin just smiled at their antics and ignored them. After a while crew left for Abel to rest but Robin strangely didn't leave.

'' Why do you need me?'' She asked immediately. Even though she gave up on understanding Abel's craziness she at least wanted to know why he was interested in her. Abel looked at her calmly.

'' I need you to achieve my dream.''

'' Your dream?''

'' Yeah. I will be a person that can do anything he wants to do!'' Abel declared proudly while Robin looked at him blankly.

'' Are you a child?'' Robin was really surprised. Doing whatever you wanted to do... Robin couldn't understand such a crazy concept.

Abel looked at her disdainfully. '' You just don't get it! As long as you have enough strength and influence, this is possible. The hard thing is... having my fate on my hands.''

Robin looked at Abel blankly. The only thing Robin confirmed with this conversation was Abel's craziness.

'' You... believe in fate?''

'' Yeah. İn this world everyone has some sort of fate. Some people are destined to be the main characters while others can only be villians or side characters. Only one who don't have any fate is me. I don't belong here. So, I can only challenge the world's fate!'' Abel talked casually knowing Robin would understand absolutely nothing. Robin sighed deeply and patiently waited as she looked at Abel expectantly. Abel coughed as he explained himself awkwardly.

'' What happens when you reach the New World? You either go under an emperor or go against them, right? Why? Because you need to fight with them over territories, money and influence. But there is a way to gain huge influence without the need to gain meaningless territories and waste your strength fighting. I want the underground. Of course a part of it is not enough. I am talking about the whole underground, forming a huge empire. And the leader of this empire will be... you. ''

Abel conclued happily.

Robin looked at him blankly. '' You want me to rule in your stead?''

'' Yes. I can't be bothered to babysit such a big organisation, I need to go around, travel, fight and befriend other people.'' Abel explained himself.

Robin frowned as she realised the vastness of Abel's ambitions. He actually wanted to acquire the whole underground. Even emperor's or the world government wasn't capable of controlling the whole underground. Underground was an area that every major power had his hands on, to control it completely by a person's will, was something unimaginable to Robin.

'' I... want to focus on my own dream.'' Robin truthfully told Abel. She didn't want to lie since he was being truthful. Also he saved his life.

Abel looked at Robin disdainfully.

'' You want to search history by reading ponegliphs, right?''

'' How-''

'' I am awesome. Anyway, how many did you managed to find after 14 years of searching?''

Robin was a little ashamed as she avoided eye contact.

'' Two.''

Abel nodded wisely.

'' I can find you much more. You won't be taking a loss. You help me achieve my dream and I help you achieve yours. İsn't this a good deal?''

Robin looked at Abel's expectant eyes and took a deep breath. ' Maybe he can do it... Just like the last time.'

'' What do I need to do?''

Abel laughed heartily.

'' That's the spirit! İf you really backed away that would really be too disappointing! First of all you need to train for 18 hours a day. Second, I will teach you some techniques and beat you up regularly. Afterwards...''

Robin shivered as Abel continued to talk casually.
