Traveling (part 1) Getting Rose

PURPLE ARMORED WOMAN POV(Her name is Mary)--- The POV starts at the adventures table just as Drax started to listen in on the 4 adventures conversation.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sarah, AKA, Grey cloak woman: "Ya I know right, a friend of mine apparently got attacked by a hail wolf pack while she was riding along through ice pick field"

Logan, AKA, Older brother with gold engraved armor: "Wait but isn't that place supposed to be out of any monster's territory as well as heavily guarded thanks to its mana imbued ice, that's insane!!"

me/mary: "Ya I know, and she wasn't the only one either many more travelers have been attacked as well which just makes me even more worried as me and my daughter are having to travel through there to get back to the Kingdom of Drazzlen"

Lucas, Younger brother with gold engraved armor: "Well then I pray you have a safe journey, us three need to get heading back to our inn. It was a pleasure meeting you, Miss Mary."

Me: "Same"

Leaning over the table, I shook hands with Sarah, Logan, and Lucas before standing up. Grabbing my bag that was currently sitting under the table, I started to head towards the guilds front door while thinking about the quickest route to take to get back to the inn where my daughter was currently waiting. Allowing the other three to pass me so that they could get out the door, I put my bag down as I started to go through it. Getting out an assortment of items that I was getting ready to sell to gain some quick coin for my trip. Rummaging through my bag, I suddenly stopped as the weirdest sound that I ever heard entered my ears.

"Kon kon yip yip kon kon yip kon yip"

(The heck is that?) Covering my mouth, I did my best not to giggle at the unusual noise as I started to look around to see if I couldn't find where it was coming from.

"Kon kon yip yip kon yip kob yip "

Hearing the sound come from behind me, I turned around as I followed where the sound was coming from. (IT'S A FOX!!!!) Standing In front of the counter with the Tiger-Kin receptionist stood a fox around three feet long. The fox was a light gray in color and seemed to be made from some type of fog or mist that was constantly moving throughout its whole body. Looking at the foxes sleek and Misty fur, I could feel my inner child awaken as I imagined myself holding the fox while allowing my hand to flow through its soft pelt.

If my hand wouldn't go through its body, that is. But saying as how it had a necklace dangling from its neck, then I think that it's safe to say that I should be able to touch its fur. Shaking my head to get back on track, I forcefully took my eyes away from the fox before continuing to take out items from my backpack. Among these items included claws, fangs, monster crystals, eyes, scales as well as a multitude of different assorted plants that could be used to create mana potions as well as healing potions too. Putting these things in a separate bag, I hurriedly grabbed my other bag off the ground before heading towards the door.

Giving one last look at the fox, I drew my gaze away before opening the door and heading to the nearest merchant ship to sell my findings. Getting there was a singe. All I had to do was turn left and then head about fifty blocks forward and ba da bing ba da boom, I was there. "Ding a ling ding" herring the sound of a bell as I came in, I hurriedly closed the door before heading to the front of the building. The building itself was quite massive.

Although the building was only One or Two stories high, the length of the building was almost two football fields long. With over 50 different rooms with each one being the size of a noble's mansion, it was quite a large building. Plus it was all made of ice, who knew how long it took to carve and build. Even with the help of mages, it must have taken quite a while. "Excuse me, mam, could I be of any assistance?"

Hearing a young male voice speak, I turned to the front of the building where several large stalls were lined up, with each one having their person that they were talking to. Standing at one of these stalls stood a relatively young man with black hair. He was definitely handsome and looked to be around his mid twenties. He had a chiseled jaw as well as high cheekbones and blue eyes. Under his shirt his arms and chest ripped with well toned muscles has the hair on his head swayed with the slight wind in the building giving him a handsome aura. At least, that was what normal people would think, but to me, he was just your average Joe.

I was already married, and I had to admit that my husband was simply much handsomer. The young man was wearing a black and white dress shirt, with the rest of his body hidden behind the stall. Walking up to the store clerk who just spoke and who's stall was the only one still open, I cleared my throat before saying "Yes, I would actually like to sell a few things, mostly monster materials as well as a couple of magical plants and herbs if you don't mind." "Of course madam," said the store clerk. "We have a trading sector located on the north wing of the building.

Just follow the red arrows hanging on top of the roof, and you should find your way there." Thanking the store clerk for his help, I grabbed my two bags before hurrying down the hall while following the hanging red arrows. Turning down multiple halls, I finally started to slow down my footsteps as a large door with the words "Trading sector" written on them came into my vision. Opening up the door, I walked into a large room where multiple people were constantly carrying crates and other such things across the room. I was about to walk forward when one of the people In front of me dropped something out of the crate he was carrying.

Hearing a splat, I looked down to see a large green claw with purple blood splatter around it laying on the ground. Letting out a small scream. I hurriedly backed up away from the claw as the person In front of me set down his crate. "Sorry mam, didn't mean to scare you, here let me just get this out of your way." Saying this the man bent down before taking the claw into his hand and putting it back into the crate before standing up and calling over a custodian who quickly got to wiping up the bloody spot left on the floor.

"Sorry again about scaring you, I hope you have a blessed day." Waving goodbye to me, the man quickly set upon picking up his crate before heading towards the far edge of the room where a long line of people carrying something or another in a container stood. Shaking my head, I hurriedly over to a line where it seemed like people were selling things similar to what I had. It didn't take long before the line moved, and I was finally at the receptionist's desk. "How may I help you today?" Asked the receptionist.

Taking out my bag of items, I quickly unfolded it before setting it on the desk. "Yes I would like to sell these if you wouldn't mind." "I see" said the receptionist "One moment as I calculate the total worth of your items. Let's see now, you've got six of those, five of these, two of those, four of these... all of this together should get you about forty silver and nine copper. Will that be enough?"

"Yes, that will be plenty" Thanking the receptionist, I hurriedly grabbed my money before running to the front of the building where I waved goodbye to the store clerk before leaving. Hurrying over to the inn that my daughter and I were staying at, I opened the front door before running up the stairs to my room. Knocking on the door with a special rhythm and yelling for rose, I waited for my daughter to unlock the door. "Knock knock na knock na knock knock, Rose, it's mother, come open the door darling it's time to go". Hearing the door unlock, I smiled as Two large green eyes met mine.

My daughter was the most adorable child you would ever see. Rose was about four feet tall with long orange hair. She wore a frilly pink dress that collided well with her sparkly red shirt. Her checks still had that little amount of baby fat on them that gave the impression of an irritated squirrel when puffed out. Looking at me for a moment with those big eyes, a smile lit up her entire face as her excitement visibly showed.

"Really, it's finally time to go" Asking with an excited voice as she hopped from one foot to the other, it was quite obvious that little rose was excited. "Yep, it's finally time, are you ready to return to daddy?" Nodding repeatedly, Rose gave a cheery smile as she jumped up and down multiple times. "Okay then, let's go" Giving a squeal of excitement, Rose jumped up one more time before rushing down the stairs. Shaking my head to myself at what a cute daughter I had, I hurriedly rushed to follow her.
