Foundation Realm

The foundation realm is divided into 3 stages. Each stage is separated into four levels. That is beginning, mid, high and peak. While all stages focus on building a foundation the first is especially so, here the cultivator builds strong foundation to gain inner strength. After gaining it they start to improve quality and quality of inner strength. Finally after breaking through and gaining the ability to use inner strength outside the body they continue the same process.. Once you start this realm of cultivating your lifespan is 100 years.

Transformation Realm

The eight stages of the transformation realm are called the eight steps of transformation. Each step of this realm bring you further and further from being a mere mortal person. Each step adds another 25 years to your life so that by the time you reach the eighth step of transformation you have a lifespan of 300 years. In this realm you continuously learn to use your spiritual power and purify it with each stage. You learn as well how to use spiritual sense, even though it isn't hard to grasp it is possible to further refine this power. There are no special breakthroughs with this realm, but each stage is hard to break through in and of itself. Typically if someone can't break through before the age of 30-35 they will probably only ever make it to the second or third stage at most without an extreme amount of luck. This is due to the meridians of the cultivator becoming less malleable as they age, at that age without treasures it is incredibly difficult to advance.

Crystal Core Realm

When you break through to the Crystal Core Realm, the purity of your spiritual power and how condensed it is reaches another level. Each stage in this realm are called rings, of which there are three of them. When you break through to this realm, as well as each subsequent breakthrough, you gain 200 additional years of lifespan. Upon reaching the third ring therefore you will have a lifespan of 1000 years. This is the realm that you condense all of the spiritual power in your body into a crystal core. This core will act as a storage for all of your spiritual power. To breakthrough in his realm first they accumulate spiritual power and after reaching doublethe radius for the core they would recondense the core to its original size. Thus increasing the purity and strength of the spiritual power. Each ring is separated similar to the foundation realm. Usually if a cultivator is unable to break through into this realm by 80 it will be hard to make it past the third ring, 100 the second and 150 the first. Bearing incredible fortune of course for any of these limits. To prepare for the Mystic Law Realm usually during the third ring the cultivator with gain insights into a law connected to their martial arts, from speed to things as obscure as space. No matter age if a cultivator can gain insight into a law, it sets them on a fast tract to the next realm as long as they have the time to make the break through that is. The more talented the earlier a cultivator will gain insights to their law or laws. Even as early as the first ring, which gives a huge advantage to them, making it easier for them to merge the laws into their core.

Mystic Law Realm

The Mystic Law Realm is the realm in which cultivators gain insight into, and merge the laws of the universe into their spiritual power, changing it into Mystic Power. Upon breaking through into this realm a cultivators lifespan is increased by 500 years, as well as with the breakthrough into the second stage. In this realm upon first entry their laws are merged with spiritual power making the mystic power mentioned earlier. To progress the cultivator has to deepen their understanding of their laws as well as accumulate more mystic power. To break through into the next stage they have to merge their laws into one, hose with great ambition will learn more laws. There is great risk with this as the more laws there are the harder it is to merge them. The benefits are easy to see as they will be more powerful than their peers. In the second stage they begin to further comprehend their new law and fuse their new understandings into their mystic power. The peak of this realm is also the separator where cultivators have the chance to become essentially immortal. Once their laws have completely become a part of them it is time to create a connection between their soul and mystic power. Once the connection is established marks the breakthrough into the soul purifying realm.

Soul Purification Realm

There are no stages to the soul purification realm, only progress through the realm. The purpose and process of proceeding through this realm is fairly simple. With the laws that a cultivator has gained in the Mystic Law Realm, they will purify their soul. On top of that they will also have to merge their understanding of law into their soul in the process of purifying. Those who have special Dao Soul Physiques have an advantage in this realm, as it is incredibly hard, basically impossible, not to find out they have one once they reach the Transformation Realm, as they will have an instinctual pull and knowledge of their physique. They then can make that Dao a part of their laws and by having that law make it easier to purify their soul. In order to to break past this realm the cultivator has to merge spiritual power, body and soul together. This is a block that most cultivators are never able to get past.
