Back Home?

"Sakura wake up, you are going to be late for school."

"Just five more minutes, mom."

"No, you wake up now or you I am going to pour cold water on you."

With groggy eyes Sakura slowly got up from her bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face. She doesn't really want to go to school.

Well, no one does.

Sakura felt like she learns far more things from the internet rather than school. But even with this obvious fact she had to go to school.

"Urgh, I hate school."

She washed her face and brushed her teeth.

After her morning routine she came downstairs and sat on the table for breakfast.

"You look pretty beat up." Sakura's father looked concerned.

"Did you have any nightmares, dear." Her mother also looked concerned.

"No, no its nothing. It's just Astra was hard to beat in the video game we played last night, uh!"

Sakura realized something. She looked at her mom and dad and sister to confirm it.

'Was all of that just a dream?" she thought for a moment.

She wasn't sure how she felt. At one side she was happy that she was with her family and the other side she kind of missed Astra.

<I am glad to hear that, master.>

"Wah." Sakura was surprised for a second and fell off her chair.

"Oh! My, are you alright, dear?" her mother rushed to her and started to check for injuries.

"Yeah, I'm good." Sakura said with a thumbs up.

"Phew, that gave me a fright." Her mother breathed in relief.

"You don't look good sis. Do you want to skip school today?" Sakura's little sister butted in.

"No, It's fine." Although Sakura would love to skip school, she didn't want her parents to worry about her so she denied the offer.

She then sat on her chair again and directed her attention to Astra while eating.

'Astra, you there?'

<Yes, master?>

'What is happening here?'

< This is an illusionary world that was created when your illusion skill went out of control. >

'Illusion skill?'

< the one that came with your cloths. >

'Uh, that one.' Sakura realized that she indeed had an illusion making skill which also scales with her int stats.

'So, this is just an illusion.' Sakura felt a little sad. All thought that she had finally gotten home. But turns out this was just an illusion.

< Would you like me to turn off this skill. >

'No, not now. I will think will stay here for a while.'

<As you wish master, but please be aware of the danger's illusion.>

'Danger?'

'Ah so that's what it is. I thought it was something big. Don't worry Astra. I am not some little kid who will get attached to random things. '

<… >

After breakfast, Sakura went to her room and started to get ready for school.

Thought she was confused about one thing.

"If my clothes are responsible for the illusion, then wouldn't that mean taking them off would end the illusion?"

<Yes, but you can bypass that by simply transforming your cloths.>

"And how do I do that?"

<Just pour your mana into cloths and imagine yourself in school uniform.>

Sakura followed Astra's instructions and in less than a minute she was in her school uniform.

She then looked herself in the mirror for the last time. Her body had reverted to how she looked in her previous life. Her short black hair with two bangs in the front and her facial structure as well as the somewhat fair skin made her look cute but it still can not be compered to her previous form.

<Master you will be late.>

Suddenly Astra broke her out of her thoughts.

"Uh! I forgot." She quickly took her bag and went downstairs.

"I'm out for school."

Sakura said as she opened the door and,

"Saku-Chan!"

As Sakura was getting out of the house, she heard a familiar voice.

She looked back to find her childhood friend Misaka waiting for her.

They talked and laughed as they made their way to school.

"What the heck is this!" Venion shouted in astonishment.

This morning when he and his party woke up, they found themselves in a completely unfamiliar place.

Massive towers touched the sky. Unfamiliar trolly and carriages ran across the streets. And people with unfamiliar facial structure came into their view. They were confused to say the least.

They had no idea where they were or how they got here. Venion who was constantly trying to come up with an explanation looked at Melissa.

Melissa understood his meaning and shook her head.

"This is not an illusion. And if it was an illusion, it's too high level for me to discern." She explained.

Venion face sank.

The no man's land was notorious for weird and explainable phenomenon. The most common among them were people suddenly going missing.

At this moment Venion feared that they might face the same fate. His only hope is that this was all hiss speculation and there's a way to go back.

"Stay close, everyone. Don't gather too much attention." Venion ordered.

Everyone including Jack and Jakir nodded and followed their leaders' orders without hesitation.

They then started to move along the streets. But people were looking at them with various expressions.

Neither Venion nor his party members knew the language these people were talking so they just cautiously went on their way.
