A bird can be seen flying tree to tree while being followed by a female kitsune

[]How slow can you possibly be. We're losing time here[]

"Hey, it's not my fault alright. This body feels weird walking with"

[]Well that's natural i guess, but don't worry! Soon you'll be walking just as you breath[]

Xiu Ying gave out a sigh as she continued to follow the bird, until they reach a clearing with a katana and a pouch

"A sword and a pouch?" Xiu Ying said questioningly as she looked at her supposed gear

[]Hey that ain't no normal sword and pouch! It's a katana and a magical pouch that works like those game inventories-![]

While the bird continued to sing it's song about the katana and magical pouch, Xiu Ying already approached the said items and inspected them

'The katana looks brand new and sharp, nothing seems out of the ordinary about it, but the pouch is' Xiu Ying opened the pouch to find absolutely nothing

"Hey birdie-"

[]I have a name and it's not birdie-![]

"Yeah, yeah birdie. Anyway this magical pouch of yours seems to be malfunctioning" Xiu Ying said while showing the empty inside of the pouch

[]Of course it wouldn't work it needs qi[] The bird said as it perched itself on Xiu Ying's wrist that's holding the pouch

"I have no idea what your talking about"

The bird looks at Xiu Ying for a minute before doing a move resembling a sigh

"Ascendance stage?" Xiu Ying said confused

Starting from the bottom there's qi gathering, foundation establishment, core formation, nascent soul, soul formation, soul transformation, and ascendance[] The bird explained

"That's all? So i'm basically at the top of the food chain already?" Xiu Ying asked a little excited

[]Of course not, these stages are for the mortal realm, there's celestial realm after that with more stages and there's the heaven and hell realm which isn't really accessible to us considering they need special requirements[]

"Well at least i got a headstart in my cultivation before i become the top of the food chain" Xiu Ying said while trying to absorb the information given to her

[]Of course you got a headstart at your cultivation not only that but your at your last stage[]

"Last stage i thought there were-"

"Aren't i supposed to grow from weak to strong or something?"

The bird puts it's head inside the pouch before coming out with a normal looking green ring

[]This ring contains knowledge about kitsune etiquette, how kitsune fights, and knowledge a tenko kitsune should know[]

Xiu Ying took the ring and put it on her right pinky finger, it slides in with no trouble. All of a sudden Xiu Ying felt like a entirely different person, emitting an aura of gracefulness and purity while giving the bird a polite smile

"Many thanks to birdie for giving instructions, this young one thanks you for showing me the way"

[]Aww no need to thank me it's my-[]

All of a sudden Xiu Ying gave a mischievous grin

"Ha, like i'm going to say that" Xiu Ying said, capturing the bird in her hands before it could fly away

[]H-hey what do you think your doing let me go!?[] The bird said as it struggled to get out of Xiu Ying's hand

"I heard that foxes sometimes hunt bird's, it's quite a coincidence that one just landed itself on my dinner plate"

Xiu Ying licked her lips as the bird desperately tried to escape. The bird's foot accidentally landed on the ring accidentally pushing it a bit

"H-huh? What happened just now?" Xiu Ying asked absentmindedly, letting the bird escape her grasp

[]Mother feather! Don't tell me you don't remember anything!?[]

"I-i actually don't. What happened? All i remember is putting on the ring and everything suddenly turned black"

[]This is bad. Looks like we're going to be stuck with each other longer than i thought[]

"Can you tell me what happened i'm about to start panicking over here"

[]Well you see, your mind was unable to accept the memories from the ring without turning you into another person. So instead of you using that ring only once, where you'll receive the knowledge in the ring and it can be discarded, you'll need to wear the ring whenever you need to use it's contents, which as you know, transform's you into another person[] Realizing what the ring can do, Xiu Ying removed and threw it on the ground

"Then i just need to not use it anymore"

[]Well that's the thing though, your a nine tailed tenko kitsune, the most powerful and knowledgeable kitsune there is. If people found out that such nine tailed kitsune exist... well i can only imagine the trouble[]

"I don't think it'll cause that much-"

[]No you don't get it do you? Your a female kitsune, not any normal kitsune a tenko kitsune, your also horribly attractive too. If people found out that you exist and can't defend yourself, your life will never be the same again you'll be [Redacted],[Redacted], forced to [Redacted] or forced into [Redacted]. Your life will literally turn into a cyoa with an h story, and most of those stories doesn't end well[]

Xiu Ying started sweating as she realized her predicament

"Then what do you suggest?"
