-Encounter

Zaire turned around and was shocked to see writing on a wall. The writing looked ancient. He walked up to the wall and placed his hands on it, feeling the rough grooves of the etched symbols. "It's not writing, it's carved into the wall," Zaire thought to himself.

He glanced at Harry, who blinked back at him with a curious expression. "I don't think you can read it, Harry," he said with a sigh.

Harry tilted his head slightly, as if pondering Zaire's words.

Zaire looked up at the wall, frustration etched on his face. "Even if I could read it, I can only see this part because I'm not tall enough to see everything."

Suddenly, the system screen flashed in front of him.

[New passive skill: Mimicry]

"A new skill what does it do?" Zaire asked aloud, his curiosity piqued.

[It allows you to mimic the world around you]

"Oh wow, so it's like a form of adaptation," Zaire murmured to himself.

"Mimicry, huh?" Zaire said out loud, trying to comprehend the new ability.

A bright blue light flashed, momentarily blinding him. "What the...?" Zaire exclaimed, shielding his eyes. When he looked back at the wall, he could read the carvings clearly. "Did Mimicry do this?" he wondered, rubbing his eyes in disbelief.

Zaire steps back and looks on the wall from a distance. The once indecipherable symbols now formed coherent sentences, revealing an ancient prophecy. Zaire read aloud:

"In the age of shadows, a Dawn Bringer shall rise. Marked by the symbol of hate, he will challenge the darkness and bring forth a new era. But beware, for forces beyond this world seek his end."

Zaire stepped back, his mind racing. "The Dawn Bringer?" He looked at Harry, who seemed to be listening intently.

"Wait so much writing translate into that really." said Zaire.

Out of now where Zaire starts to feel a earthquake Zaire looks at Harry "An earthquake."

After 10 seconds it stop "Oh wow that was fast." Zaire said out loud.

[5 Years Later]

A teenage boy with long brown hair and piercing brown eyes swings effortlessly from a vine within the vast cave. His makeshift shorts are fashioned from leaves, and perched on his shoulder is his constant companion, a lizard named Harry.

The boy leaps gracefully from the vine, landing with a soft thud on the ground. "I'm loving this form," he mutters to himself with a grin, reveling in the agility and strength his human guise provides. He makes his way to a tranquil lake, each step causing his body to shift. By the time he reaches the water's edge, his form has fully transformed into that of a young dragon, a majestic creature comparable in size to an elephant. His body is adorned with fully developed horns, spikes, and wing structures, covered in thick, resistant scales with a unique red pattern that sets him apart. His massive tail sways behind him, a testament to his power.

Zaire stops at the lake and laps up the cool, refreshing water. After quenching his thirst, he shifts back into his human form, feeling the familiar tingle of transformation.

The system screen flashes before his eyes.

"It's been four months since I perfected this form," Zaire reflects, looking at his reflection in the lake.

[Four Months Earlier]

Zaire lay on the ground with Harry by his side. "Even if we escape, could I walk the world as a dragon among humans?" he pondered aloud. "But if I don't leave, I'll never find a way back home."

He sighed, frustration evident in his voice. "What's up with you, system? I haven't received any new skills in five years."

Though he had been diligently leveling up his existing skills and stats, he was bored. "Aren't you bored too, Harry?" he asked. The lizard looked at him and nodded, as if understanding his plight.

"I wish I had my human body," Zaire mused. Then, a thought struck him. "Wait a minute... mimicry can mimic anything in the world, right?"

"Damn. Mimicry allows me to mimic and adapt, but if I mimic a human, I'll be weak. I worked so hard to become this strong, and I can't just rely on my dragon form's physical abilities."

Then, another idea hit him. "Wait a minute... there's Dragonkin's Intuition and Dragon's Essence," Zaire thought, a plan forming in his mind.

He sat up, excitement bubbling within him. "System, can I create a new skill?"

[Yes, you can with the active skill: Combine. To use the skill combine, you must combine two skills to create a new skill with both abilities. However, the original skills will be lost.]

"System, activate the skill: Combine," Zaire commanded.

[The active skill: Combine is activated. Which skills do you want to combine?]

"Mimicry, Dragonkin's Intuition, and Dragon's Essence," Zaire declared.

[Combining skills...]

"Wait, not yet! Activate mimicry one last time to mimic a human body to hide this dragon form. I want to be able to switch between forms at will, and as you do that, combine Mimicry, Dragonkin's Intuition, and Dragon's Essence so I can have those abilities in my human form as well," Zaire instructed. He closed his eyes, picturing his old human form. A bright blue light enveloped him, and he felt a surge of energy.
