Back to the dark cave, many minutes after the black skeleton lay down.
Erik was trying anything to calm down and sleep when he suddenly realized one thing and stood, thinking to himself 'I am an idiot if I think I will sleep being that I am an undead.'
'Wait.'
'How can I think if I don't have a brain?' Erik started to think why he could think when suddenly line text appeared in front of his eyes, but he could read and look through the texts, which was strange to him.

Erik was surprised that a tab with his status suddenly appeared but he regained calm fast, after all in the last minutes he became a skeleton that could think without the necessity of a brain. He started to look at the tab carefully.
The first thing that drew attention was his race. Which is an undead, he was a human before and now he is a devourer undead, a skeleton right now, he doesn't know what this means or why he is a skeleton. The second thing was his aptitude and ranks, he understood the darkness affinity. He is an undead a darkness creature, but he was confused about the ranks like: how is classified the ranks and what none or F means in his status, when he started to try to guess the terms, a new tab appeared.

After he was answered he tried to get more details about the ranks but he had no results. 'Is strange how this system can answer my thoughts but not all thoughts, it didn't answer what is the difference between ranks or other information about them, seemingly it only can give simple descriptions.' He came to a conclusion.
Erik looked down and saw four different types of abilities, he was very confused about it because, it is all abilities why have so many classifications? A new tab appeared and solved his doubts.

Abilities: The abilities are classified in four major types, normal, racial, unique and special. Normal abilities are abilities that can be acquired through training. Racial abilities are abilities that come from bloodlines. Unique abilities are rare abilities that some beings are born with. Special abilities are abilities that come from outside like items, formations, Gods.

Erik was upset that he was reincarnated as an undead skeleton that can't feel anything and sleep. He looked at the abilities description.

Life devourer: Devour life beings strengthening the body, and extracts one chosen ability.
Warning: If the acquired ability is an elemental one with an element that is not darkness the ability will be corrupted by darkness. Cannot absorb special abilities.

Life assimilation: When the user of this ability absorbs life energy he can keep the energy in the bones and use it to strengthen the body, after absorbing a certain amount it is possible to evolve the body.

Bones veins: The bones have veins of Mana, all the Mana are stored in the bones. But the host has no dantian.

Erik found the abilities interesting, and when he was looking at a specific ability he perceived a possible answer to his problems.
'Is it! The ability Life assimilation can apparently evolve the body using life energy! If this is what is described I can recover my body and senses, also maybe sleep!'
'I decided. I will collect sufficient energy to recover my humanity that I lost.' But when he finished this thinking he found a problem.
'I need to kill living beings to get this energy? How many? I will be chased by humans?'
Erik was with many questions in his mind in that moment, he knew the things don't are so simple like it is looking. Undead are dead malign creatures that attack living beings, in the same way if living beings see an undead they will attack. He played many games about undead, he knows that life and death are natural enemies and if he finds someone stronger than him, he certainly will die.
'The first thing that I need to do is leave this place, it looks like a cave.' He started to walk in the only path that he could, and he could easily see a wall made of old vines with few sun rays passing through.
'I don't know if it can be considered a cave, it is too small.' He thought about how small the cave was.
When he pushed the vines out his front and left the cave, he saw an incredible vision. The first thing that he saw was the giant trees that reached hundreds meters tall with many meters in thickness. He also saw a beautiful landscape with waterfalls, mountains, rich vegetation and giant dinosaurs. Erik was shocked and he went into torpor with only a thought in his mind.
'I am dead.'
