Chapter 85: Showing off!

Shining Glory City was huge, it was gigantic metropolis with mostly and blue buildings, with purple roofing. In the back of the city is where the castle town is located, it's where the members of the royal family lives.

And further behind that is a large mountainous regions with mountains that would make mount everest look like a baby.

Walking into the city Ken Hai got his usual attention, he ignored it and then headed for the Alchemist Guild, it only took asking some of the locals.

Heading towards it he found it it was gigantic building with alchemists going in and out, Ken Hai then headed in and then went towards the receptionist.

It was a slightly chubby man reading through some texts on a scroll.

Noticing my presence the man snorted as he looked at me but I ignored it and decided to still be cordial.

"Hello there my name is Ken Hai, I'm here to take part in the Golden Alchemist test." I said as I showed him the letter with the Main Branch Head Elder's signature and stamp on it.

Seeing this he immediately put on a business smile. And began rubbing his hand like a shady business man.

"Right this way sir!" he politely said. He didn't even question if the Ken Hai's letter was valid or not, because the consequence for faking such a thing would a be fate worse than death.

No one is stupid enough to do such a thing.

Not only that it was also fused with they're qi. Everyone's qi down to a certain level feels different.

"This is Elder Kai's office, he's the one overseeing the Golden Alchemist test." said the man as he walked away.

Ken Hai knocked on the door.

"You may enter."

"You guys stay out here okay?" said Ken Hai Qian'er who had Fenrir in her arms nodded.

Entering the room Ken Hai saw a studious man, with a long dark beard, his hair was tied in a bun yet some still flowed along his back.

A golden alchemist badge was proudly displayed on his chest. He seemed to be in his early 40s, as a few stray wrinkles was on his face.

But Ken Hai could tell, this man was not so young. The man sitting infront of him was probably a step into the Martial Sage Realm.

He encountered a few of them on his journey and his clone's time as Jun.

The man looked up from his desk which had scroll rolled out onto it.

"So your the so called genius who's said to revolutionize the world of alchemy? Other than your face and clothes you don't seem very special." said the Elder calmly as he rolls up back the scroll.

"It is a pleasure to meet you too Elder Kai." said Ken Hai ignoring the man's earlier comment.

Seeing Ken Hai not biting onto his earlier provocation his eye twitched slightly, however only a complete monster would be able to pick up on this.

However one such monster was in the very room he was standing in.

"Show me." he said Ken Hai nodded and took out ten ingredients and a bit of water.

His golden wrapped around all ten and the water, which all floated in the air causing the Elder to widen his eyes slightly.

With his fingers Ken Hai then began telekinetically manipulate the ingredients even using fire qi to cook them.

Elder Kai looking couldn't help but be wide eyed at the youth making a pill infront of him without cauldron! It just has never been done before!

It's been thought of in fictitious works of course, but never in real life!

As Ken Hai finished, four crimson pills which radiated orange wisps of energy appeared all rolled up into perfect spheres.

"Is this good enough?" asked Ken Hai with a neutral expression. The pills floated over into the palm of the Elder.

"T-these are red dragon pills!"

Red Dragon pills is a fifth star pill, it's in a group of pills known as the flying dragon pills. The weakest being the black the dragon pill, then the red, then the blue and finally the mythical golden dragon pill. Which is thought to be a simple legend.

The dragon pills are the most notable and expensive pills on the market. As a single black dragon pill can push someone in the 1st of foundation realm all the way to the 1st or 2nd of Martial Disciple depending on the quality.

'This pill! It's a ninth star pill! How the hell is a fifth star pill able to compete in quality with a eight! No a ninth star pill!' He unconsciously gulped, but he kept his cool.

He then looked at Ken Hai. 'This boy is no genius! He is but a monster! A monster that will raise alchemy to new heights!'

'Youngster, you have pass the first test. Please come and meet me tomorrow. Ask the receptionist to show you to your dorm, he'll show you the way." says the Elder, Ken Hai nodded and exited the room.

"Come on Qian'er we'll be moving into our new room soon." The little nodded as we walked with her older brother.
