Going to Apple Mountain

***Author Note: Almost no motivation right no to right... I am sorry for the late release, ended up forcing myself to write...

Once Vatue and Zocu had come back from their hunt, they all set off towards apple mountain, the centermost mountain.

Soon, they had reached the a large vally seperating this mountain and the next mountain range. Basmon had summoned his spectral body, and from where they stood, the vally looked like a paradise. It was full of lushiouse trees, and from the other side of the vally a wide river, crashing through the forest.

A waterfall cascaded closer to them, so loud they could hear the roaring. It was beautiful, a paradise. Everything shown of never being touched by man.

'Wow... I have no words... Such natural beauty... So untouched... It reminds be of Alaska, but somehow even beautifuler...' Basmon thought in aw of the scene.

After a while of just staring down the the natural beauty and listening to the roaring of the waterfall, they decended down into this paradise. Soon, they had passed back down to ground level, and walked among the forest.

You could hear the birds chirp, and see signs of life everywhere. A deer even ran in-front of Vatue when he went off to use the restroom.

Soon, they had reached the river. Its roar could be heard everywhere, with small currents here and there and little streams slowly feeding into it. Small sticks flew down the river into some rapids before the waterfall.

After a while, they once more reached the edge of the small little paradise, surronded by torturous and cold mountains. All of them were hisitance to leave, but ended up slowly walking back up yet another mountain, onwards the Apple Mountain.

Along the way, they met a couple mountain goats and other small creatures, all of which Vatue easily killed. A falling rock from above did kill Basmon's spectral body a couple times, because they did alot of damage, just like how a penny falling from the empire state building could kill somoene.

They ended up on the innermost ring of mountains, all surronding the tallest peak, Apple Mountain. The entire range was set up like a target board, with the smallest ring of mountains on the outside, then a vally, then 2 more layers of mountains followed by the largest mountain.

Soon, they reached the tallest mountain. It was easily taller than Mt. Everest, over 30,000 feet in the air. Different from Mt. Everest however, was the fact that it was not cold. At all. Infact, it was mildly warm, and easy to climb. This is due to a magma pool underground that heats the innermost of the mountain range, making it a nice warm.

The mountain was so widespread that climbing up it was not very hard, as it was not steep at all. There where some ledges, but that was the extent of it.

After about a week, they had gotten to the top. Of corse, this was completly different from earth.

Here, this would be normal, after all, they could use skills, the the climb was not near as difficult or steep. And of corse, everyone was much stronger.

Actually, if Vatue and Zocu had gone alone, they could have gotten up the mountain with 3 days easily, but Basmon slowed them down, as his spectral body was extreamly weak.

The top of the moutain was a huge plain, easily a couple miles long. The mountain was actually wider on the top than it was tall.

In the middle of this huge praire stood a huge ice sculpture, even though it was warm. Below it stood a large moat, and the melting ice dripped into the moat.

Inside the huge ice scuplture was a blue book, giving off a rare vibe.

'It seems we are the first here... Do you think we could get the book before anyone gets here?' Basmon asked.

"Let me try." Vatue decided, jumping over the moat ontop of the large ice sculptue, which was about 9 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

Vatue summonded his axes, and chopped down into the ice with all his might. However, instead of cutting through like butter as expected, the bounced off.

Th ice shook but that was all. Not even a small crack...

"Dad... This might be harder than we expected...' Vatue muttered under his breath.

Ater a awhile, Vatue gave up. It seems they would just have to wait for back up.That, or the book to finally melt out of it's situation.

A couple days later, someone else appeared on top of the mountain.

The newcommer immediantly tried to forcfully take the skill book, but ended up giving up just like Vatue. After a while, he too, gave up and waited for the skill book to be released.

After this, people slowly started to stream onto the moutains top. Because there was almost nothing in your way, you could easily see to the other side of the mountain.

There were small skirmishes here and there, but most people wanted to save their energy for when the book appeared and the chaos began.

Soon, it was only 5 days until the ice had fully melted.

Even now, some brave fellows tried to hack away at the ce, hoping to be the one to grab the skill and run before anyone could catch you.

*Back with Vasil.

"Quick! We are 3 days from the mountain!" Vasil yelled, running with all his might over the mountain range.

"Jityss has reported back! We only have 4 and a half days! Quickly Now!" Vasil commanded his team as they rushed towards the mountain.

Jityss had gone far ahead, as he could fly, and scouted out the area whilst using invisibility magic. He also had looked for the god tier skill book, but could not find it.

Soon, he flew back to his team, so he could protect them and relay his information.

"Do you know what type of skill book it is?" Vasil wondered.

"It is some sort of Ice type skill book, or atleast that is what everyone there seems to think..." Jityss responded, seemingly longing. Of course, who wouldnt want a legendary skill.

Soon, it was only a couple of hours until the book was released. Vasil and his group had gotten there the day before, and set camp on the oppisite side of Basmon and Vatue.

***500 less words, I had almost no motivation. Sorry. Promise next chapter will be 2000 words. On another note, who should get the legendary skill? Give me your ideas.
