Are they assassins ? or someone else...

Were they sent by the Count? or the Countess?..

No..I don't think it was the count as he just healed me with his high class healing potion when I was about die inside his territory..

Right...

Even though my father was not happy with me since childhood he never actually try to harm me with the intention to kill me...,all he did was some normal beating and verbal abuse...

His hands were tied by the Cornard Duchy...

Until Count Jerrich Ecclestone is sure that he could survive the clash against the duchy..he would not make any carless mistakes.

So..,It must me the Countess...

Yeah...that must be it... That woman is crazily obsessed with power.,

To make sure her son seats on the Counts title she will take any type of twisted paths...

Scheming, plotting and making my life hell was her a favourite sport...

Since childhood she orchestrated several assassination plans but in the end her plans were always ruined by Sir.Jerad...

The Count didn't like this approach as it could impact his county..but still he choose to remain quite in this as he knew her plan will never succeed until Sir.Jerad is present around me...

' She must be thinking that if she somehow get me killed in this journey...,the count will support her and somehow with the help of political alliance they will prove it that it was done by some third party...' I thought inside my mind...

Well whatever... Lets first deal with this attack and then think who was behind these peoples...

I concentrated back into the battlefield..

Due to me and Sir.Jerad's timely response our losses were minimum..

Apart from the villagers who died in the start of the attack.. everyone else survived with minor burns..

So we atleast prevented the worst case scenario of total elimination..

Standing tall in the rain of fireball I looked around to find the Magician behind the spells.,

One kilometers ahead on the uneven road from were we came to Kark Village..., I saw twenty peoples wearing black robe were performing the spell on continuous progression...

Leading that group of magician were two strong warriors that rode on their stead..

The warrior on the right side held a spear in his hand while the warrior on the left side held a heavy glaive...

Both look like those battle gods from the dramas I watched on earth..

Mighty and Strong.....

They must be the peoples behind this...

Nodding my head I bent down and with my strong arms I dug out bunch of large trees and threw them on the Magician..

Pov Change...Attacker..

Looking at the tall monster standing in the rain of fireball...., the duo warrior seating on their stead were greatly shocked..

" Big Brother... What is that thing ? " The warrior asked while pointing his spear towards the monstrosity..

" I also don't know brother ..." The other warrior answered by shaking his head..

An unexpected event have occurred in between their hunt...

In the underworld of the Union.,

Edgerton Brothers were famous bounty hunters that never let their preys slip past them...

They were the scary duo brothers who had reached Rank 6 Aura Cultivation strength and were one of the most elite bounty hunters..

Today they were out to hunt a young nobleman called Oliver Ecclestone who was traveling under the protection of a Rank 6 Aura Cultivator...

For this hunt the duo brothers planned out a chaos type strategie in which they were going to overwell their prey under the attack of mages and finish the target in mids of confusion..

But before their plan could come to frutation..., A huge monster suddenly appeared on the battleground and over turn their chess board upside down..

No matter how many fireball they send towards the monster.., It with stood everything...

The Defence of the monster was heaven defining...

Infront of their shocked gazes the monster uprooted big trees and threw it towards them...

" Fuck!!! Defend everyone. ..." The

brothers ordered...

The mages stopped targeting the monster and aimed it on the incoming trees while the duo brother slashed the trees with their Aura covered weapons..

Even though they were surprise by the sudden attack of the titan.., It didn't mean that they could not defend against some trees...

Every mage in the group was at the level of 3 Circles...They were powerful enough to blow up a whole buliding.., some misley trees were no match for them..

They defended the attack of the titan without any pressure..

But before anyone could take a breather all hell broke out as the colossal titan started moving towards them...

Boom... Boom...Boom...Boom...

Ground trembled under its heavy steps..

The monster was crossing tens meters with few steps..it was reaching their place very fast...

" Shit... Run everyone Run....that monster is comming for us " Somone of the mage shouted...

Everyone used various types of movement spells and started running in various directions....

" Brother what do we do now " Smaller brother Tom Edgerton asked.

He could feel that the monster which was coming towards them was something that they can't defeat...

" Sigh... We can't do anything Tom.., the monster to strong " Bigger Brothers Joel Edgerton replied...

Joel knew fighting this thing was meaning less...

" But what about the noble kid ?" Tom understood that his brother was planning to retreat...

But what about the bounty..., their perfect record will be stained by this incident...

" Don't worry about that Tom.., I am ninety percent sure that the kid died in the rain of fireball and the emergence of the monster...and if the kid somehow still manage to survive from this...then we will track him down and kill him with our own hands... But for now lets retreat " Saying so Joel Edgerton turned his stead and started riding away from the monster...

Tom Edgerton also nodded in understanding and followed his brother...

' Note. Another weakness of 'Stone Titan' is that it's speed is too slow due to its heavy wait '

Sigh

I chased about 15 kilometers but even after my full might I couldn't catch the two warriors riding simple horses..

It was depressing but what could I do.., My Miracle was centered around only two status..

Defence and Strength...

I have to find a way around this problem or in the future fights I will just become a meat shield...

Sigh...

I have so much problem to solve...

Shaking my head in helplessness I turned and went back to the base camp...
