The Voice

"No, no. I know you can hear me. Wake up" The voice repeated.大

Darey's face twitched, and he tightened his eyes even more. He shook his head and turned again.

"Come on, we haven't got all day. It's morning already." The voice sighed.

Darey's feigned sleeping face slowly began to unravel.

"Come on... I'm leaving right now if you don't wake up"

That was the last straw.

Darey's face suddenly broke into a smile.

"Come on, can't you at least get the hint" Darey said, opening his eyes and turning to face the owner of the voice.

A woman, standing a few meters from Darey, and by the bedside smiled, shaking her head.

"And what would that be?" She said with a knowing smile.

"Maybe I wanted you to join me in bed?" Darey smiled teasingly.

The woman shook her head and scoffed, as though knowing that was exactly what he was going to say.

"Unbelievable" She scoffed.

"Come on... You know you want to" Darey teased.
